Chapter 664. Don't Let My Mom Suffer.

Clearly, Chen Jing and Luo Yifan had only just confirmed their romantic relationship.

What was originally intended as a meal for the two families to meet turned into a meal for Luo Yifan, seemingly intended to symbolize their impending family relationship.

Zhu Qianying could sense Luo Yifan's purpose, but she didn't find it annoying.

Although Luo Yifan hasn't spent much time with his mother, and their relationship shouldn't have been long either, his actions seem a bit too hasty.

However, whether a relationship can lead to marriage sometimes cannot be measured by the length of time it takes.

It can only be measured by whether it is suitable or not.

Take my mom and Zhu Zhizhou, for example. They went through a long twenty years of trying to get along, but they were still not compatible. Even if my mom spent her whole life with that scumbag Zhu Zhizhou, all she would get in return would be heartbreak and hurt.

Therefore, Zhu Qianying did not force Luo Yifan to follow the steps of dating, proposing, and getting married. She would let her mother do it the way she wanted, as long as her mother was happy. As her daughter, she did not mind if Luo Yifan did all of these things in one day.

"Uncle Luo, everyone has their own thoughts and preferences. I don't expect your two sons to like my mother very much. In short, just don't let her suffer any grievances. I can't control anything else."

It would be best if Luo Yifan's two sons liked their mother, but if they didn't, it couldn't be forced. After all, he was a grown man in his twenties, and he couldn't let others dictate his preferences.

"Ying'er, please rest assured. Even if Xiaoxian and Xiaochang are not like that, as a man, I naturally have a responsibility to ensure that the people I love are not hurt or wronged."

The two chatted the whole way from the apartment to the gate. By the time they reached the gate, Zhu Qianying felt much more at ease about her mother's situation.

Outside the gate, two men were facing the main road, seemingly talking about something. Zhu Qianying guessed that they were Luo Yifan's sons.

“Ying’er, those are my two sons.” Luo Yifan’s words quickly confirmed Zhu Qianying’s guess.

After Zhu Qianying had the security guard open the door and accompanied Luo Yifan outside, the two men turned around and met Zhu Qianying's gaze. They all smiled slightly.

“Ying’er, this is the eldest brother, Luo Xian, who is only a month or two older than you. This is the second brother, Luo Chang, who is a little younger than Xiao Yu.”

"Xiaoxian and Xiaochang, this is your Aunt Jing's eldest daughter, Zhu Qianying, Xiaoyu's older sister."

Hearing Luo Yifan's introduction, Zhu Qianying remembered that Xiaoyu had a very good relationship with the Luo family.

"Hello, just call me Shadow!" Zhu Qianying extended her hand to the two of them.

Luo Xian and Luo Chang shook hands with her. As the older brother, Luo Xian said, "Yingzi, just call me Da Xian and him Xiao Chang. Xiao Yu calls us that too."

When Luo Xian and Luo Chang stood together, at first glance they didn't look alike, but upon closer inspection, they resembled each other in four or five parts, probably because they looked like their parents.

Luo Xian and Luo Yifan look very alike, even their temperament and mannerisms are six or seven parts similar. Luo Chang, on the other hand, may resemble his mother. His facial features are obviously different from Luo Xian and Luo Yifan, but the temperament between his brows is still very similar to his father and brother.

The two brothers made a good impression on Zhu Qianying. They chatted and laughed together on the short walk from the gate to the apartment building. Although the topics were all trivial, their expressions were generally pleasant. This showed that the two brothers were not opposed to the meeting, which could be interpreted as them not being opposed to their mother.

As for the mother of the Luo brothers, Luo Xian and Luo Chang, Zhu Qianying never asked Xiaoyu about it, and Xiaoyu never mentioned it either.

From his mother's words, one could vaguely guess that Luo Yifan rarely mentioned his deceased wife in front of her.

They must be very much in love, because Zhu Qianying vaguely saw the shadows of Ji Yu and Ji Huan in the two brothers. Generally speaking, only children who grow up in happy families possess this quality.

The four of them chatted as they opened the door. As soon as they entered, Zizai came running over, tilting his little face up and stretching out his little hand, smiling at Luo Xian and Luo Chang.

"Hello, uncles! I'm Zizai. Welcome to my home!"

The little guy has gained some weight recently, his face is chubby, but surprisingly, he doesn't look bad at all. On the contrary, it adds to his childlike innocence and cuteness.

Luo Xian reached out and patted his head, laughing, "Shouldn't you call me uncle? Why are you calling me uncle?"

The little guy looked at his mother with a bewildered expression, while Zhu Qianying glanced at Luo Yifan.

She thought to herself, "So, he's already done his homework this far! No wonder he kept assuring me that my two sons would treat me well; he's already smoothed things over with all the parties involved!"

Luo Yifan's impression on Zhu Qianying improved even further.

Seeing that his mother didn't answer him, Zizai turned to Luo Yifan and asked, "Grandpa Luo, what should Zizai be called?"

Luo Yifan chuckled and pinched his cheek, saying, "It's okay to call me Uncle for now!"

Zizai nodded and said, "Zizai understands. When we call Grandpa Luo and Grandpa Luo, we'll call him Uncle, right?"

The little guy's rather serious remarks made the adults burst into laughter.

The adults were laughing, but the little guy wasn't. He looked at Luo Xian and Luo Chang seriously, then tilted his head, pointed at Luo Xian, and asked.

"Are you Uncle Xian?"

Luo Xian stopped laughing, but still squatted down with a smile on her face and hugged him.

"Yeah, how did Zizai know? Did he just guess?"

"It's not a guess! Brother Beibei and the others said that Uncle Xian looks a lot like Grandpa Luo!"

"Tsk, smart kids are really something. I didn't even need to introduce myself," Luo Xian said to Zhu Qianying with a smile.

Standing next to Luo Xian, Luo Chang seemed unhappy about being ignored. He took off his backpack, took out a box from it, bent down and handed it to Zizai.

"Zizai, this is a gift from Uncle Chang. Do you like it?"

The little guy's attention immediately shifted from Luo Xian to Luo Chang. His gaze swept over the box, and instantly, his bright black eyes turned into starry eyes.

"Wow, it's the latest limited edition aircraft carrier!"

The little one happily took the box, looked up at Luo Chang with a sweet smile, and said, "Thank you, Uncle Chang!"

Zhu Qianying invited the two brothers into the living room, only to find that Yan Shao and Xiao Luzi's shadows were nowhere to be seen.

Just then, Chen Jing came out of the kitchen, and Zhu Qianying asked, "Mom, where are Yan Shao and Xiao Luzi?"

"Oh, Young Master Yan is taking Xiao Lu to the supermarket downstairs to buy some soy sauce."
