"Me too!" Yan Shao's seemingly sincere yet unrealistic words rang in her ears!
If anyone else had said this, Zhu Qianying would have carefully considered it to determine whether it was true or false. But with Young Master Yan, she didn't even need to think; she immediately felt that his words were a lie.
However, it was just a polite remark made to impress others.
Sure enough, the makeup artist who was putting high heels on Zhu Qianying by the horse tactfully kept quiet, but the ambiguous smile on her face revealed her inner thoughts without any attempt to hide them.
Zhu Qianying leaned forward slightly, her back away from Yan Shao's firm chest. "Thank you!"
As Zhu Qianying thanked him, Yan Shao raised his whip and lashed it across the horse's rump. The horse neighed angrily, reared up, and galloped away. Caught off guard, Zhu Qianying was thrown backward by inertia and once again crashed heavily into Yan Shao's arms.
The convertible that had been waiting on the side immediately started up and gave chase. The photographer sat in the passenger seat, snapping away with his camera, capturing the galloping horse and the graceful figures of Yan Shao and Zhu Qianying on its back.
The woman's long, black hair and snow-white wedding dress fluttered in the air. What caught the camera was her delicate and striking profile. The man held a whip in one hand and held the woman's slender waist tightly with the other. Although he was wearing a formal suit, his strong and powerful arms could still be seen. The curve of his arms showed his masculine strength. His long legs, clad in black riding boots, were pressed tightly against the woman's beautiful calves in a possessive manner.
After Zhu Qianying finally calmed down, she saw the sports car that was moving at roughly the same speed as them and couldn't help but secretly give the photographer a thousand thumbs up for his creativity.
"Don't look around!"
Yan Shao, who was behind her, leaned down and whispered a reminder in her ear.
It seems that Young Master Yan already knew how to take the photo, but she was completely clueless and got into the car without asking him to take her anywhere.
Originally, Zhu Qianying should have felt wronged, but upon closer reflection, she seemed genuinely indifferent to where he took her.
Was it because I trusted him too much?
Or perhaps, because they simply don't care?
Yan Shao galloped along on horseback, and the horse carried them to the edge of the artificial lake. The horse gradually slowed down, and Yan Shao gave a low shout. The horse stopped in place. Zhu Qianying turned to look at him, about to ask him why he had stopped, when she felt the hand on her waist leave her. His face suddenly moved away, and by the time she realized what was happening, he was already standing steadily on the grass.
Zhu Qianying thought she was about to dismount, so she propped herself up slightly, but Yan Shao pressed his large hand on hers and said, "Stay on the horse and behave yourself."
As he spoke, he took large strides forward, holding the reins in one hand, his pace mirroring that of the horse. Zhu Qianying looked down at him, while he tilted his head slightly upward. Sunlight streamed onto their silhouettes, gilding their beautiful figures with a soft golden edge.
On a small hill not far away, Xing Bailun and Qi Xiao were sitting on the grass drinking water, their horses casually tied to nearby tree trunks.
Xing Bailun was sitting directly in the direction Yan Shao and the others were coming from. Just as he was taking a sip of water from his bottle, a couple who looked like a perfect match in a painting unexpectedly came into his view.
His outstretched hand froze in mid-air, and his eyes dimmed.
"Aaron, look, isn't that Young Master Yan and Shadow?" Qi Xiao, thinking he hadn't seen them, deliberately nudged his arm.
"Cough cough..." Xing Bolun was hit by him like that, and the water in the bottle rushed into his throat. He choked and bent over, coughing violently and even coughing up tears.
Ling Chen and Lü Hui, sitting on his other side, also had their eyes on the beautiful couple strolling slowly by the lake.
Ling Chen stared at the perfect pair of men and women on and off the horse, then turned to look at Xing Bailun, whose ears and eyes were red from coughing.
"Aaron, I thought you liked shadows!"
Xing Bailun seemed to choke again, coughing a few more times before tilting his head back and gulping down water until the bottle was empty. With a snap of his fingers, he crushed the bottle, then tossed it aside, sending it flying in a beautiful arc before it landed accurately in the trash can with a loud thud.
After completing this series of actions, Xing Bolun once again turned his gaze to the dazzling figures by the lake.
"As if you don't like shadows!" His tone was very flat, just like the bottle of water he had just drunk.
“We do like shadows, but our liking is probably different from yours!” Ling Chen seemed to be obsessed with this issue today, for some reason.
Xing Bolun smiled slightly. "Who says they're different? They're clearly the same!"
"Aaron, I've inquired, Shadow and Young Master Yan haven't registered their marriage yet!" Lu Hui chimed in. Clearly, neither Ling Chen nor Lu Hui believed Xing Bailun.
Xing Bailun withdrew his gaze from the dazzling figure and slowly fixed it on Lü Hui's face.
"Ah Hui, what do you think I would do? Before, I didn't even have the courage to break ties with the Zhu family. Now, what makes me think I can compete with Young Master Yan?"
Competition, in this context, refers to two equally matched opponents.
Someone like me, who can make me toil for half a month with just a word from Yan Shao but make no progress, is simply not even a match for Yan Shao!
Seeing the conversation spiraling into a negative cycle, Qi Xiao quickly got up, brushed the grass off his backside, and said, "Alright, alright, we came here to ride horses, not to watch others take pictures. Aaron, shall we have a race?"
A ruthless glint flashed in Xing Bailun's eyes. "Let's compete!"
Everything on the hillside, and Zhu Qianying riding a horse along the lakeside where willows sway and grass is lush, is completely unknown to her.
She simply acted like a puppet, filming the special feature on horseback at the horse farm, and then immediately moved with Yan Shao to several other locations with the photography crew.
There are seagulls flying low over a blue sky and azure sea, mountain streams flowing gently, and magnificent mountain waterfalls...
If she hadn't experienced it herself, Zhu Qianying would never have known that there were so many scene options and thematic layouts for wedding photos.
It must be said that this photographer named A-Jian is an extremely creative photographer.
After taking one last photo in front of the waterfall and descending the mountain, it was almost completely dark.
Dinner was naturally eaten at a farmhouse at the foot of the mountain with the photography team.
Just as Yan Shao had predicted, Zhu Qianying had been starving for a whole day, so needless to say, she ate this meal especially quickly; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say she devoured it in a flash.
As for Yan Shao, he was probably dissatisfied with the hygiene here. After the food was served, Zhu Qianying didn't see him touch his chopsticks at all, except for a few mouthfuls of rice.
Zhu Qianying knew a little about Yan Shao's obsession with cleanliness, but she never expected it to be this serious.
