Chapter 892. Using Drunkenness as a Pretext for Murder

Tong Xiaohuai probably thought he was too drunk to be on guard, so he easily pulled her head down and then kissed her on the lips.

"Hmm..." Tong Xiaohuai was still too naive. Her parents were behind her, and even though she knew Yan Bo was drunk, being too intimate in front of her parents still made her very uncomfortable.

Furthermore, even if not in front of her parents, since they became a couple, she and Yan Bo have had very few intimate encounters.

Like Yanbo, she has a lot to do every day. Although the two have just fallen in love, it is already very difficult for them to find time to meet or have a meal together.

As for physical intimacy, aside from the fleeting kiss on the day we confirmed our relationship, the most we've done is a kiss on the forehead.

Now, Yanbo not only pressed his lips tightly against hers, but also brazenly used his tongue to pry open her lips.

Yanbo had drunk quite a bit of alcohol, and as soon as her lips were pried open, her tongue was filled with the taste of alcohol.

Tong Xiaohuai wasn't bad at drinking, but with her parents and Yan Bo protecting her, she hadn't drunk much all night. Now, tasting the aroma of the wine, she subconsciously stuck out her tongue to taste it. Their tongues touched, creating a rather ambiguous and intimate atmosphere.

Yan Bo was unaware that Tong Xiaohuai sticking out her tongue was a subconscious act; he simply took it as her actively responding to him, and was secretly delighted.

Therefore, they gave Tong Xiaohuai a very enthusiastic response.

The hand gripping the back of her head tightened, and his tongue chased after hers, rampaging wildly inside her mouth.

After Tong Xiaohuai realized what was happening, she was quite startled by his sudden enthusiasm. She groaned and tried desperately to pull her head back.

However, Yan Bo was not truly drunk; the strength of his grip was astonishing, and she could not easily struggle against it.

Yanbo initially only wanted to cause trouble and act "violently" under the guise of drunkenness, but as things progressed, he found himself unable to stop.

Her lips were soft and slightly cool.

He had drunk quite a bit, and his body and lips were burning hot. His lips and tongue touched her slightly cool lips and tongue tip, the taste of cool mint punch was enticing.

Just like her, a refreshing, cool, and sweet but not cloying taste.

Taking advantage of his "drunkenness," Yan Bo kissed Tong Xiaohuai to his heart's content. When he released Tong Xiaohuai and fell onto the bed, he clearly saw Tong Laoda's dark face through his slightly open eyes.

Tong Xiaohuai blushed with embarrassment, but she couldn't scold him. She didn't care to explain anything to her parents, fearing that his drunken antics would only get worse. So she quickly pulled the blanket up and pressed him down on the bed with it.

"Yanbo, you're drunk. Take a rest for a while. I'll have Uncle Yuan make you some hangover tea."

Yan Bo knew he was getting drunk on behalf of his future father-in-law, so he knew exactly what his father-in-law's guilty conscience was about. Even if he committed some violent acts, his father-in-law wouldn't dare to accuse him of anything.

Furthermore, he always felt that a large part of the reason he was so drunk was because of his father-in-law's openness and frankness, which meant that his father-in-law was indeed testing him.

Since that's the case, I might as well do something bad; after all, he can't do anything to me.

"Xiao Huai, go take a bath. Yan Bo is being taken care of by your Uncle Yuan," Tong Laoda said in an unfriendly tone to his daughter, who had turned around to bring Yan Bo some hangover tea.

Although Tong Laoda had always had a great liking for Yan Bo, it was inevitable that he would feel heartbroken and distressed that his daughter, whom he had cherished for eighteen years, had been snatched away and married off like this.

Therefore, he didn't think he had done anything wrong by deliberately making things difficult for Yan Bo.

Whether Yan Bo was genuinely drunk and acting out or feigning drunkenness to commit violence, it's unclear.

If it's the former, then his drunken antics were truly impressive. The bodyguards carried him back, but he didn't kiss her. However, when Xiao Huai walked over, he kissed her.

If it is the latter, then he is far more shrewd and cunning than his seemingly gentle demeanor suggests.

However, whether it was the former or the latter, Tong Laoda didn't think it was anything to be happy about.

"Dad, let me do it. You and Mom are tired too. Go back to your room to take a shower and rest."

Tong Xiaohuai, however, had long since become immune to her father's bad temper. Even when he spoke to her gruffly, she acted as if nothing had happened and instead advised them to go back to their rooms to rest early.

Tong's mother stood by Tong's eldest son's side the whole time, and she could see clearly what was happening to Yan Bo's biological daughter.

Of course, her feelings for Yan Bo weren't as complicated as those for Boss Tong.

From their brief interaction today, she felt that Yanbo was a man she could trust to entrust her daughter to. As for kissing, when emotions run high, even if one isn't drunk, kissing in front of elders isn't a big deal!

"Yunxiang, I'm tired. Let's go back and take a shower."

Tong's mother could tell that her husband was being difficult.

Knowing he was angry, she didn't say much to persuade him, and just said that she was tired.

Sure enough, as soon as she said she was tired, Boss Tong immediately changed his expression and looked at her with concern and pity, "Tired, right? Okay, let's go back and rest first."

As she spoke, she helped Tong's mother out of the guest room. She paused at the door, then, still somewhat worried, instructed Tong Xiaohuai, "You brat, have A-Yuan take care of him. You should go to sleep too!"

Tong Xiaohuai replied, "I know, I know..." but turned around and personally brought over the hangover tea, gently nudging Yan Bo, who had his eyes closed.

"Yanbo, get up and drink some hangover tea. That will make you feel less uncomfortable..."

Yan Bo was still savoring the taste of the kiss from earlier, but he didn't want to give himself away in front of Tong Xiaohuai. After being pushed a few times by her, he mumbled "Mmm..." and slightly opened his eyes.

Tong Xiaohuai put her hand behind his neck and helped him lean against her.

"Are you feeling very uncomfortable?"

Yan Bo didn't say anything, but obediently picked up the cup that Tong Xiaohuai handed to his lips, lowered his head, and slowly drank the hangover tea inside.

Tong Xiaohuai looked down at him; at that moment, he was unusually docile.

“My dad and his family are all alcoholics, and many of the Tong brothers are also heavy drinkers. From now on, don’t try to be a hero. Let them drink as much as they want; you don’t need to help them.”

Tong Xiaohuai kept reminding him as she watched, but she didn't care whether the drunkard listened or not.

"Of course, you don't need to worry about my dad. As long as my mom is around, my dad usually won't drink too much. If he doesn't want to drink anymore, he'll naturally find a way to get his brothers to stop. Nobody can do anything about him."

Yan Bo understood what Tong Xiaohuai was saying all too well.

However, this was the first time he had appeared in front of Mr. and Mrs. Tong and a large group of Tong brothers as their prospective son-in-law, so naturally, he wanted to make a good impression.

In such situations, a man certainly cannot act like a grandson, much less hide behind his future father-in-law or girlfriend like a coward.
