Chapter 6 You Were Bought with Real Money

Chapter 6 You Were Bought with Real Money

Then, as if sensing her confusion, he added, "I speak Chinese so well, so naturally I know a bit about Chinese culture."

Ji Wanwan: ...That was too hasty.

"I've sent someone to take care of your grandmother; I guarantee she'll live to be a hundred."

Ji Wanwan suddenly felt a chill run down her spine and pursed her lips.

He heard it, oh my god! I should have known better than to say it.

Ji Wanwan remained silent, her body tensing, but how could Kolov let her go? He forcefully turned her head, whispering a warning in her ear, "But you have to leave... not yet."

"I...I."

He probably wouldn't believe anything Ji Wanwan said now, so he simply smiled at her to ease his embarrassment and change the subject.

Why did you prepare all this for me?

Ji Wanwan is too easily moved to pity. As a child raised in a poor family, she is easily touched by even the smallest favors from others.

Kolov's fingertips traced the corner of her eye in an ambiguous way: "Your tears can only appear on my bed."

Ji Wanwan awkwardly looked away, feeling a bit domineering, as if her tears had their own designated spot to fall.

Ji Wanwan couldn't respond to his words at all, and didn't know how to respond... she found it difficult to even speak.

On her first day on the island, Ji Wanwan resisted fiercely, tried to escape, and smashed a lot of things, but Kolov only seemed to enjoy it more...

When threatened with suicide, Kolov instead used his grandmother's life to coerce her.

She changed her strategy and avoided provoking him, but ended up becoming his outlet for venting his frustrations.

But now, what is he doing all this for? Is it to make her willing or out of love?

"Don't worry, I won't run away for now..."

Ji Wanwan seemed to have lost all her strength and means.

Kolov gently kissed the corner of her eye, his lips curving upwards in a threatening tone: "You'd better."

"Wang Ma made mooncakes, go and try some." Ji Wanwan pulled his hands away, wanting to leave.

Kolov, however, wouldn't give it to her, gripping her wrist tightly: "Let me try it first."

After saying that, he pulled Ji Wanwan into his arms, lowered his head and kissed her rosy lips, soft and sweet. Ignoring Ji Wanwan's attempts to stop him, he went straight in.

The air became sweet, filled with the sounds of their kisses.

In an instant, dazzling fireworks exploded in the sky again. Ji Wanwan opened her eyes, her pupils reflecting the colors of the fireworks, beautiful and alluring.

Kolov only stopped kissing Ji Wanwan until her legs went weak.

He affectionately stroked her hair: "Baby, so sweet."

Ji Wanwan's ears burned, and in the light of the fireworks, her face was so red it looked like it could bleed. Her hands rubbed together nervously.

The fireworks in the sky showed no signs of stopping.

"Shameless!"

Ji Wanwan wiped her mouth, looked at him, and asked the question that had been on her mind the most.

"Do you use me as a tool for sexual release, or do you truly love me...?"

The atmosphere grew heavy, and Ji Wanwan felt her hands and feet grow cold, feeling as if she had humiliated herself.

She then pulled her hand away from his and dropped the little rabbit lantern she was holding: "I understand."

It turns out she was just a tool for sexual release, yet she still fantasized about expecting a different kind of relationship...

Ji Wanwan breathed a sigh of relief: "Thankfully, we were able to stop the losses in time."

Kolov watched her retreating figure with an inscrutable expression.

Back inside, Ji Wanwan forcefully stuffed a bit of mooncake into her mouth before going upstairs.

Wang Ma wanted to ask something else, but seeing that she was in a bad mood, she didn't.

Ji Wanwan nestled in the blankets, burying her head completely inside.

He cursed himself in his heart.

Ji Wanwan, Ji Wanwan, what makes you think that people from such an imperial family would be interested in a country girl like you!

How idiotic!

He's only after your body.

From beginning to end, it was always like this...

Stop daydreaming.

Fireworks went off outside all night, and Ji Wanwan didn't sleep a wink.

Kolov never returned to Helin Island after that day.

Sure enough, he said he wouldn't come back if he didn't touch me for a week.

If it's not for their own bodies, then what is it?

Today is the fourth day. Ji Wanwan was about to go downstairs for dinner when she saw Kolov wearing a white shirt with the cuffs rolled up, sitting there elegantly eating Western food.

Growing up in a royal family, Kolov was taught table manners from a young age: to be dignified, elegant, and deliberate. Upon seeing Ji Wanwan, he put down his knife and fork, picked up the inside of his napkin, and gently pressed it to the corner of his mouth.

Ji Wanwan had been skipping downstairs, but when she saw his steps slow down, she became extremely reluctant.

Kolov patted the chair next to him, gesturing for her to sit down beside him.

Ji Wanwan ignored him and sat opposite him.

Kolov's lips curled down, revealing a hint of displeasure, and his voice carried an inherent authority: "Sit here."

Does it matter where you sit?

Ji Wanwan picked up her chopsticks, casually took a piece of steak, put it in her mouth and chewed, without even glancing at him.

Kolov, suppressing his temper, threatened, "Your grandmother..."

Ji Wanwan chewed on her steak, looked at him, and then plopped down in the seat next to him.

They would threaten her with her family!

Even so, Ji Wanwan only cared about eating, while Kolov was treated like he was in the cold palace; all she could see was food.

Ji Wanwan stood up to pick up some food, but Kolov forcefully placed her on his lap.

"So all you'll eat is..."

With her mouth full of food, Ji Wanwan mumbled, "Am I supposed to starve to death if I don't eat?"

"Okay, then I'll wait until you finish eating."

Kolov held her waist with one hand, and with the other hand, he gently ran his fingertips across her back, lifting the hair at the back of her head.

Ji Wanwan was wearing a very thin nightgown the whole time, and her body was very sensitive. Did he even want her to eat in peace after doing this?

"You came back because of that, right?"

Even though Ji Wanwan was prepared, her body still resisted a little. It wasn't about love, but just about gratification...

Kolov's hands circled her thighs, and his face rested against her neck.

"Don't you want to too?"

Ji Wanwan almost spat out her food: "I didn't."

She clearly had too much energy, but she said she wanted to.

"You liar, you're quite the..."

Kolov tried to speak, but Ji Wanwan covered his mouth.

"Shut up!"

Kolov wasn't angry; he simply licked her palm.

Ji Wanwan immediately withdrew her hand, her palm becoming damp, which she wiped away with a tissue in disgust.

What a madman!

"Wanwan, let's go upstairs."

Ji Wanwan's heart sank, and she hurriedly made an excuse, "I haven't finished eating yet."

Kolov looked at the intense desire burning in her eyes, and his breathing began to quicken.

"I'll eat for as long as you eat."

Ji Wanwan felt like dying inside, her feet were already cold, how could she not understand those words?

She put down her chopsticks: "Not today."

"Why? Don't forget, I bought you with my hard-earned money."

Kolov bought her from the conman for a million dollars, attracted by her good looks and figure.
