Chapter 124: Big points deducted!
Ji Wanwan: "The craziest one is still Victor!"
They made such a big fuss, but then it all ended after a couple of sentences.
They all inherited it from him, didn't they?
Katya immediately tugged at her arm and whispered, "You'd better keep your voice down, walls have ears."
The bodyguards around him were still there, mainly to watch over Kolov, but they weren't very effective.
Ji Wanwan glanced at them and then withdrew her mouth, thinking that there might really be some kind of eavesdropping device.
"Okay, I chickened out, I cursed in my heart."
They can't possibly have mind-reading abilities, can they?
Kolov put his arm around her shoulder, letting her lean against his, and chuckled, "Go ahead and curse, it doesn't matter."
He liked Ji Wanwan no matter what she looked like.
Katya clicked her tongue and stood up: "I don't want to hear any more mushy talk. I'm going to find Dmitri."
She then lifted her skirt and left.
A gentle breeze began to blow at night, and Ji Wanwan unconsciously pulled her shawl tighter, also tucking her loose hair in front to block the wind.
Seeing that Gu Qingci was still sitting there, Ji Wanwan asked, "Brother, are you going back?"
Seeing that Ji Wanwan felt inexplicably tightness in her chest, she felt very guilty towards him.
"Wanwan, have you already chosen him?"
His voice was completely calm, as if he had accepted the fact.
Ji Wanwan remained silent for a while, staring at the flickering candlelight in front of her.
Seeing her hesitation, Kolov tightened his grip and glanced at her downcast eyes.
"Ji Wanwan, you hesitated!"
He was very unhappy!
He would think about even the smallest details.
A typical highly sensitive person.
"Can't I just temporarily shut down?"
Ji Wanwan glared at him, making up a reason that was practically deafening her.
"Brother, I'll choose him for now."
Ji Wanwan spoke cautiously. He had changed, but if he were still the same as before, she could kick him to the curb.
Kolov turned her chin, his face ashen: "Temporarily?"
“Yes, for now!” Ji Wanwan said stubbornly.
Kolov gritted his teeth: "I want it forever."
"Greedy wretch! No way!"
"Give it to me." His voice was low and pleading.
What he wanted was a simple verbal agreement, an agreement that Ji Wanwan would never leave again.
"Get out of the way."
Ji Wanwan would not be deceived by his appearance. He thought he could fool her? No way!
She said to Gu Qingci, "Brother, do you have a way to cancel that engagement?"
Kolov didn't tell her that Gu Qingci had said this wasn't his intention either.
"Ji Wanwan, I've changed my mind."
Gu Qingci leaned back in the soft chair, her long, slender, pale fingers holding a wine glass, the red wine swirling gently.
His gaze towards the two of them turned icy cold in an instant, and he showed less tenderness towards Ji Wanwan.
Ji Wanwan looked at him again, and unconsciously swallowed a few times. What did that mean?
What is there to regret?
Do you regret falling for her, or do you regret saving her?
"Brother, what do you mean?"
It's not the same question she asked; it's like we're talking at cross purposes.
"I regret postponing the wedding to a month later, otherwise you would have been mine sooner."
After saying that, Gu Qingci tilted his head back and gulped down a mouthful of wine, no longer hiding his love for Ji Wanwan. He had had enough.
Even if Ji Wanwan is unwilling, he will force her to marry him.
"What are you talking about! You haven't been influenced by Sofia, have you?"
That won't do!
Ji Wanwan didn't like him acting like that; it made her feel uneasy.
Could he have inherited some of Viktor's genes...?
Kolov, however, could not stand it at all and picked up a wine glass next to him and threw it at him.
"She doesn't belong to you!" Kolov roared, angered by the fact that Ji Wanwan belonged to him.
Ji Wanwan tried to stop it, but the wine glass passed right in front of her, and when she tried to reach out, it was too far away.
"Brother!" she called out to Gu Qingci worriedly.
Seriously, she didn't want to see the two of them fight.
Gu Qingci raised the wine glass in her hand, and a dull "bang" was heard as the two wine glasses collided violently, followed by a "crack" as they shattered.
The wine glass shattered into pieces, sharp shards cutting the back of his hand. Amber liquid mixed with wine red soaked his palm, and his white suit was also splattered with wine.
Ji Wanwan glared angrily at Kolov: "A gentleman uses words, not fists, haven't you heard that?!"
All they know how to do is solve problems with force.
Points deducted!
Ji Wanwan lifted her skirt and ran over, picking up the white tableware to wipe his hands.
It's all red wine!
I don't know where he got injured.
Gu Qingci stood up, and seeing how much Ji Wanwan cared about him, he suddenly hugged her tightly as if he were crazy.
"Ji Wanwan, stop pushing me."
He didn't want to see the two of them being intimate anymore; he had lost control of himself.
He didn't listen to a word Sophia said; he had simply been holding back for a long time.
From the day Ji Wanwan was imprisoned by Kolov on graduation day, to taking care of him for almost a year, the two have now become even closer...
From beginning to end, he was just a supporting character to the two of them.
Ji Wanwan was completely stunned; she hadn't even had time to react to this sudden and outrageous action.
Gu Qingci wouldn't treat her like that...
Ji Wanwan was held tightly in his arms, and Gu Qingci even buried his face in her shoulder.
But the next second, Kolov's fist came crashing down on the back of his head, and at the critical moment, Ji Wanwan shouted.
"If you dare hit him, I'll abandon you!"
The slightly trembling fist stopped on his head.
Kolov really wanted to blow his head off...
"Gu Qingci, get out of my way!"
Could it be that something upset him this morning? How did he turn into the old Kolov?
No!
He looked up and scoffed, "Is it wrong for me to hug my fiancée?"
He is more qualified than Kolov.
Moreover, Ji Wanwan had personally promised Qianxi that she would marry him.
It's just a little late.
Ji Wanwan pushed him away forcefully, her shawl slipping off her body. She raised her hand and slapped him, but not with much force.
"Gu Qingci, watch your temper. If you don't like it, you don't like it. No matter how you force it, the result will be the same."
She angrily picked up a shawl from the lawn and draped it casually over her shoulders.
Gu Qingci loosened his tie, smiled strangely, and pointed at Kolov: "And what about him? You could fall in love with him?"
That's so unfair to him!
Are you accusing me?
She fell in love with Kolov; what could she do? Perhaps she was just pathetic.
But she couldn't help it; she was just drawn to Kolov.
"What he can do, I can do too."
“It’s different. How many times do I have to tell you before you understand?”
Why are you so stubborn?
"How are they different? What makes me inferior to him?"
"It's bad in every way!"
Kolov interrupted, pulling Ji Wanwan into his arms; the scent of Gu Qingci still lingered on him.
If Ji Wanwan hadn't stopped him from hitting her, he would have had his head blown off long ago.
Ji Wanwan didn't want to argue with him anymore; it seemed she couldn't ask him about the marriage.
After all, his ideas were the opposite of hers. She was hoping not to get married, while Gu Qingci couldn't wait to get married right now.
Ji Wanwan glanced at the blood seeping from the back of his hand. The wound wasn't big; he should be able to treat it himself.
Then he dragged Kolov away.
Ji Wanwan was almost startled; her heart skipped a beat.
On the way back, Ji Wanwan started criticizing Kolov: "You, you've got a huge deduction! Don't even think about cooking anymore."
Giving him a month of abstinence wouldn't be too much to ask, since he's always getting physical!
