Chapter 8 Who gave you permission to say that about her?

Chapter 8 Who gave you permission to say that about her?

Kolov's voice was forceful yet pathetic. He picked up the glass of wine on the table and gulped it down, his stomach beginning to burn.

His white shirt collar was stained amber, but he kept chugging bottles of liquor until the table was empty. By then, he was completely drunk.

He lay on the sofa with his hands folded behind his head, the moonlight shining down on him.

The next day, Kolov got up in the private room, feeling dizzy and experiencing a sharp pain in his head. Alexander brought him some hangover soup.

"Young Master, are we going back to Hailin Island?"

Kolov remained silent for a moment.

"Return."

Because I want to see her.

*

At the dinner table, the two remained silent, the atmosphere awkward and heavy. Ji Wanwan simply ate, feeling an intense gaze fixed on her from above, but she didn't dare to lift her head, afraid of meeting his eyes.

"Has no one taught you table manners?" Kolov looked at her with a blatant gaze.

Ji Wanwan suddenly looked up, shook her head, and then lowered her head again.

"No……"

Besides, she doesn't need that kind of thing; she's just an ordinary person, so there's no need for her to specifically learn it.

"Lift your head up."

Ji Wanwan kept her head down, saying, "It's just the two of us, there's no need for that, is there?" Her voice trailed off, and she sensed something was wrong.

"I don't like it." The tone was firm.

Kolov was lying to her. What he liked about her was her authenticity and lack of pretense, but he wanted to see her face even more.

Ji Wanwan suppressed her panic, straightened her back, raised her head, and ate her meal slowly and deliberately.

It felt so unfamiliar; Ji Wanwan felt her whole body was resisting it.

"Are you that afraid of me?" Kolov tapped his fingers lightly on the table, looking at Ji Wanwan with a scrutinizing gaze.

Ji Wanwan slammed her chopsticks down, making a sound as they hit the table.

"I'm full, I'm going upstairs now."

She stood up and quickly walked to the spiral staircase, where she was stopped by Kolov.

"Ji Wanwan".

"I bought you back for a million dollars. I'll let you go when you pay it back."

Kolov crossed his long legs and looked at her slender back.

Ji Wanwan stood there dumbfounded, like a needle.

One million!

How could she possibly pay it back? Besides, she's been here all along without a job, so where would she get her income?

Ji Wanwan slowly turned around, her voice soft, her hands nervously rubbing together: "How can I ever pay it back..."

A bad thought began to creep into her mind: perhaps that was the only way, and it was exactly what he wanted.

"You know perfectly well what I'm asking?" Kolov spread his hands, a smile playing on his lips.

"How much... per time?" Ji Wanwan felt ashamed, feeling that she was selling her body to earn money.

But this wasn't what she wanted; she wanted to get out.

We absolutely have to get out!

Once she returned to China, she didn't believe Kolov could do anything to her.

Even if it means enduring some humiliation now.

Kolov walked up to her, his tone ambiguous: "Of course, it depends on your performance."

Ji Wanwan straightened her back: "If you're really not satisfied, and it's one yuan per time, wouldn't I be losing out?"

She'd pay one dollar per session and do it a million times!

That would be too cheap for her.

Most importantly, she will never be able to leave this place in her entire life.

"Don't worry, the minimum is 100,000."

Ji Wanwan's heart was in her throat as she made her own plans.

Even if it costs 100,000 per time, the worst-case scenario is ten times. Excluding menstruation, ten times would take at least two months...

I can go out in two months.

As Ji Wanwan thought this, she felt inexplicably happy, as if she had finally found hope here. She knew she would be able to leave in two months and see her grandmother.

Ji Wanwan turned around and looked up at him: "You're not lying, are you?"

"I'm not lying."

"Okay." Ji Wanwan already had an idea in mind. If it weren't for her period, she would have pressed his head down and kissed him wildly.

"Aren't we going to start now?"

Kolov thought that once he said it, Ji Wanwan would kiss him, but instead she just stood there blankly. Yet he couldn't help himself.

"Your period has started, so you might get pregnant," Ji Wanwan said casually.

Actually, the probability is higher during this period, but there is a risk of pregnancy at other times as well, and Corlov never wears condoms.

Suddenly, Kolov grabbed her by the neck, his eyes turning cold: "You really don't want to have a child with me?"

Ji Wanwan always manages to inadvertently provoke Kolov.

In Ji Wanwan's heart, wasn't not getting pregnant for his own good? How could a wealthy family tolerate an illegitimate child!

Ji Wanwan was choked and couldn't breathe. She grabbed his arm with both hands and said with great difficulty, "I, I'm doing this for your own good."

Kolov scoffed: "For my own good?"

"Isn't it because you don't want to have too much of a connection with me, and ultimately want to get rid of me?"

Ji Wanwan kept shaking her head, her face flushed from lack of oxygen, hot tears streaming down her face, and her eyes becoming blurry.

Seeing this, Kolov released her.

Ji Wanwan collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, almost going to meet the King of Hell again!

What a madman!

Kolov crouched down and lifted her chin: "It seems you don't really want to leave either."

"No! I just..." Not wanting to get pregnant and afraid of upsetting him again, Ji Wanwan didn't say anything.

"Just what?"

"nothing."

Ji Wanwan stared at the floor, her heart still pounding.

Kolov shook her off: "Since that's the case, since you have nothing to do this week anyway, I've found you an etiquette instructor. You can learn from him from now on."

“Anna,” Kolov stood up and called out.

Anna, wearing black high heels, swayed gracefully, a smile on her face, and the corners of her mouth turned up as she walked in from outside.

"Mr. Kolov."

Ji Wanwan looked at her in shock. Anna was a Russian woman with a great figure and appearance, but Ji Wanwan always felt that Anna looked at her with an inexplicable hostility.

"You'll teach her from now on."

“Okay.” Anna forced a standard smile at Ji Wanwan, her expression carrying an unspoken provocation, her eyes full of disdain.

She is somewhat attractive, but not enough to have captivated Kolov to the point that he comes here every few days!

She doesn't deserve Kolov's affection.

He belongs only to her!

"I don't want to!" Ji Wanwan felt uneasy, fearing that the visitor had ill intentions. She had seen many scheming women like this before.

It's better to have one less problem than one more; being alone is much more comfortable.

But Kolov refused: "That's not up to you!"

"Miss Ji, don't worry, I will teach you well."

She emphasized the word "teach" extremely, as if she were training a dog, which made Ji Wanwan feel very uncomfortable!

Ji Wanwan didn't indulge her: "Then you don't need to worry about it. You should take care of yourself first."

Kolov looked at me with a threatening gaze.

"Ji Wanwan, who gave you permission to talk about her like that!"
