Mo Qingcheng politely declined Shangguan Yichen's request, glanced back at the six little ones with a meaningful look, and then headed straight for the back mountain.
What a joke! Bringing the boss along would be too much trouble, wouldn't it? He's definitely a minor villain among villains.
Shangguan Yichen's eyes were icy, and he exuded a chilling aura. He clenched his fists and said, "Don't run around. I'll stay with her..."
Shangguan Yunxi opened her mouth, wanting to say something but then stopped herself. She decided to go along with them, just in case her stepmother ran away, so they could make plans in advance.
Mo Qingcheng's ears twitched slightly, her face full of black lines. What a special fate it was to be bound to the system and become the wicked mother of six villains.
In her anger, Mo Qingcheng exerted too much force, and her joy turned to sorrow. She tumbled down the hillside with a thud, crashing into a tree and piercing her finger.
"Ding! Congratulations, host, you have unexpectedly activated the Interstellar Farm. Would you like to redeem the rewards now or wait until later?"
Haha!
Mo Qingcheng excitedly slapped her forehead, waved her little hand without even looking, and exclaimed, "Now!"
The next second, a deafening roar shook the earth.
"Roar! Roar!"
Nima!
Mo Qingcheng cursed, lightly touched the tree branch with her toes, and leaped up the tree.
A wild boar roared and crashed into a tree trunk, causing leaves to fall.
Suddenly, Mo Qingcheng caught a glimpse of a piece of clothing out of the corner of her eye, and her breath hitched: "What are you still standing there for? Climb the tree!"
Damn it!
Shangguan Yichen's lips moved, as if something was blocking his throat. He was a beat too slow, and the wild boar, due to its inertia, couldn't stop its pig feet and pounced on Shangguan Yichen.
"Bang!"
Shangguan Yichen let out a muffled groan, being knocked back two meters, his eyes narrowing. A figure flashed before his eyes, and his stepmother jumped onto the wild boar's back, flicking her wrist to produce a dagger from somewhere, which she then plunged into the boar's neck.
Shangguan Yichen's breath hitched. The little boy rushed forward like a madman, grabbed the wild boar's tail tightly, his eyes bloodshot, and swung a broken sword with all his might, stabbing it into the wild boar's rump.
The wild boar shook its head, trying to throw the two off, but it couldn't keep up with the situation and was being tortured to the point of near death.
Poisonous woman! You brat!
The wild boar was on the verge of death when it collapsed to the ground, creating a deep crater. It was in so much pain that it questioned its very existence.
Being a pig is hard, being a wild boar searching for food is even harder. If I had known this would happen, I would never have come out here...
Mo Qingcheng ended the wild boar's life with a single dagger, muttering, "Brother Pig, may you be reborn into a better life. Although your skin is a bit thick and your flesh a bit tough, I, your grandma, will let it go since you willingly sought death."
Sigh, what can I do when I have a few little brats at home who are crying for food?
Shangguan Yichen's eyes narrowed as he noticed the wound on Mo Qingcheng's forehead. His childish voice was hoarse as he asked, "Are you alright?"
"I won't die!" Mo Qingcheng replied indifferently. Fortunately, the system sent her a dagger at the critical moment, otherwise she would have lost her life here.
I've seen people who mess with their hosts, but I've never seen anyone mess with their hosts like this.
In her mind, the system rattled off numbers, but Mo Qingcheng abruptly cut it off with a single click.
"Let's go down the mountain! I'm starving..." Mo Qingcheng glanced at Shangguan Yichen with a half-smile. Little brat, I have plenty of strength and means to win you over.
The interstellar witch instructor is no joke.
Shangguan Yichen's eyes were as dark as ink, unfathomable. He had no choice but to obey Mo Qingcheng's orders, and the two worked together to bring the wild boar home.
There's no other way, my younger siblings are starving to death...
Shangguan Yunxi and the others waited anxiously, wondering why their brother hadn't returned yet. Had he been beaten to death by his stepmother?
Someone started crying, and Bai Ziming began to sob, while the other three children kept wiping away their tears.
As Mo Qingcheng entered her home, she happened to catch a glimpse of this scene and frowned slightly: "Incompetent people only know how to cry!"
"you……"
