Second Madam Wu Mei was so angry she nearly fell over, her watery eyes filled with malice: "You, Liang Feng, you have no sense of right and wrong!"
"Second Madam, you probably don't know what happened to the Third Madam, do you?" Liang Feng frowned and looked at Wu Mei with a puzzled expression.
Normally, the third wife and the second wife would bicker all day long, but when it mattered, the two were in perfect sync. If one of them left, the other would run away as soon as the wind picked up.
The matter concerning the Third Madam today certainly did not reach the Second Madam's ears.
Wu Mei stood there, stunned: "What did you say? You bastard, why don't you explain yourself clearly?"
The second wife was furious. Damn it, they've all learned to fool themselves now, just wanting to see a show?
Liang Feng dared not conceal the truth and told the Second Madam what had happened.
Wu Mei's expression changed drastically, and she glared at Liang Feng fiercely: "Why didn't you say so sooner?"
Liang Feng frowned. "You didn't ask either." Wait, he'd just arrived, only to be held up by the First Madam's men.
"Second Madam, the First Madam's people are looking for me."
Wu Mei instantly understood; it was that old woman who was behind it all.
"You little vixen, I'll let you relax for a few days!" Wu Mei's eyes flashed with a hint of malice as she stormed off with her men.
“Young Madam…” Liang Feng hesitated before speaking.
Mo Qingcheng waved her hand: "Go down, I want to rest for a while."
"Yes!" Liang Feng opened his mouth, but ultimately said nothing and turned to leave.
"You may all leave now!" Mo Qingcheng had lost her appetite and dismissed the first group of people.
The two maids lowered their heads, cleared away the leftover food from the table, and silently withdrew.
Mo Qingcheng rolled over, yawned, casually set up a barrier, lay down for a quarter of an hour, and then flashed into the space.
The two little ones rushed forward, looking at Mo Qingcheng nervously.
"Mother, are you alright?"
"Mother, how do we get rid of these unwanted romantic advances?"
Bai Ziming and Mu Wanqing spoke in unison.
Mo Qingcheng's lips curled into a smile as she ruffled Bai Zimo's hair: "Don't you even know who your mother is? Don't worry, no one can catch her."
Mu Wanqing paused for a moment: "Mother, you must be careful. The Underworld Clan is full of strange things."
The little girl looked worried. Knowing her mother's temper, she didn't say much. Before long, she brought over a large bowl of shredded chicken noodles.
Mo Qingcheng felt a warmth in her heart: "Mother, go and rest for an hour."
The two little ones nodded repeatedly. Mo Qingcheng's eyelids drooped, and she returned to her bedroom, threw herself onto the soft bed, closed her eyes, and went to sleep.
Bai Ziming sat idly by the door. "Third sister, is Mother planning something big behind our backs?"
"Okay, you stay here and watch over Mother, I'm going to the alchemy room."
"Third sister, Momo is so scared, please go and come back quickly." For some reason, the little guy was a bit uneasy.
Mu Wanqing nodded and headed straight for the alchemy room to prepare more medicinal powder for her mother.
The little girl's eyes flickered slightly. She was worried about her grandmother. Her mother's trip was fraught with danger, and her second sister and eldest brother were very worried about her, which was why they had let the siblings sneak into the space.
Mo Qingcheng was fast asleep, completely unaware that chaos had broken out outside.
Meanwhile, when Deputy City Lord Shen Wuxin returned from his outing, his face darkened upon hearing Liang Feng's account of the Second Madam's harassment.

Liang Feng was taken aback: "Master, the Second Madam just returned from outside the manor. The First Madam's men stopped me, which delayed the time..."
