Chapter 1: I’m going to die again just after I came here?

It was the midsummer of the third year in Dongchen Kingdom.

The Bai family’s old house in Wanfu Village, Guangming County, Xuzhou.

"Brother, mother, mother seems to be dead..."

"Mom, wake up, wake up, wuwuwu..."

"Mom, please don't die, don't abandon us..."

Five children, four boys and one girl, knelt in front of the bed, shaking the woman on the bed and crying loudly.

"Bang!" The door to the main room was kicked open.

The five people were startled, and after they realized what was happening, they hurriedly got up and held the wooden door of the room.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The wooden door was shaking.

The children's faces were flushed red, veins bulged on their foreheads, and beads of sweat the size of beans rolled down their cheeks, wetting their collars.

Their hands gripped the door frame so tightly that their nails turned white.

There was only one thought in my mind: we can't let them in.

Seeing this, Mrs. Wang spat, put her hands on her hips, and started to curse:

"You damn kids, your mother is a member of the Bai family in life and a ghost of the Bai family in death. If you don't want to die, open the door obediently..."

The old man in white looked at the wooden door, a flash of hostility passed through his eyes, he waved his hand and stepped aside.

The men looked at each other, nodded, took a few steps back, took a run-up and kicked the door with all their strength.

"Bang!" The wooden door fell down.

The children were also knocked away and fell heavily to the ground, their eyes filled with tears. They endured the pain and did not let themselves cry.

Old Lady Wang sneered, "Hmph! You wolf cubs who can't be tamed. Just wait for me, one by one. You'll have a hard time in the future..."

Baihu endured the immense pain and stood up: "I'm going to sue you. I'm suing you for murder and robbery!"

Mrs. Wang was not afraid at all: "You still want to tell me? She stole a man, was caught, and was so ashamed that she hit her head against the wall and died. I only felt sorry for you children, otherwise she wouldn't have had the good fortune of a ghost marriage."

"You're talking nonsense. Mother never cheated on anyone. It was you...you were desperate because of my uncle's gambling debts, so you wanted to arrange a ghost marriage for Mother. When Mother disagreed, you beat her to death!" Baihu blurted out everything he knew.

"Pa!" A slap made him stagger.

He looked at his grandfather with bloodshot eyes and opened his hands: "Don't even think about using my mother for a ghost marriage. I don't agree!"

"Yes! We disagree!" Several other people also got up and stood in front of the bed to block them like a hen protecting her chicks.

The old man frowned slightly: "Humph! Your mother is gone now. It's better to bury her as soon as possible."

With a wave of his hand, several men came forward to capture the four people.

There was a cry: "No, mother, wake up, wake up..."

At the same time, Tang Youyou on the bed suddenly opened his eyes.

What caught my eye was a young girl kneeling on the ground. She looked to be in her teens. How could a man of such age call her mother?

Are you kidding me?

She has been single for 32 years and still unmarried. This girl must have recognized the wrong person.

At this moment, some memories that did not belong to her suddenly popped into her mind like fragments of a movie.

She was so shocked that she couldn't recover for a long time.

Damn it, she was a successful female executive, swimming in her own swimming pool. The moment she got out of the water, she slipped and hit the only flower bed next to the swimming pool, and thus she was reincarnated into the body of a widow with the same name and surname in ancient times.

I kept complaining in my heart: Maybe tomorrow I will be on the news that "a female executive of a certain company committed suicide in her own swimming pool for unknown reasons!"

Her parents must be very happy, as they can finally help her brother take over her property.

She was 32 years old, unmarried and childless, a graduate of a prestigious university, and had dedicated ten years to her career. She was known as a workplace demon! Her decisiveness earned her high regard in the company.

The original body was also 32 years old, with four sons and one daughter. Five years ago, her husband died at the border.

The pale and thin woman in front of her was her eldest daughter-in-law Lin Huahua, who had just married into the family.

Lin Huahua's eyes widened as she pointed at her in disbelief: "You're...pretending to be dead?"

Mrs. Wang pulled her over, muttering, "Get out of here, you jinx! You've only been married for a short time, and my daughter-in-law is gone."

Many villagers had gathered outside the yard. She was about to pretend crying, but when she saw the person on the bed with his eyes rolling around, she was so scared that she squatted on the ground, shaking like a sieve.

With trembling hands, he muttered to himself, "He's a dead body!"

Lin Huahua looked at the four people who were bound: "Mom... seems to be alive..."

The four of them struggled and started shouting.

"Help! Help!"

The old man in white naturally noticed the abnormality here. He winked at the men, and the men covered the mouths of the four men.

Lin Huahua moved slowly, trying to crawl out while no one was paying attention. She wanted to go out and find someone to help.

Old Man Bai stepped forward and took a look at Tang Youyou who was lying on the bed. He was surprised for a moment, and a hint of viciousness flashed in his eyes.

Then he winked at Mrs. Wang and said, "I think you've lost your mind. Your daughter-in-law is worried about the children and will die with regret!"

He walked straight forward, picked up the quilt on the bed, and was about to cover Tang Youyou's head.

Tang Youyou was almost dying of anxiety. This old man was obviously going to kill her, but as soon as she came through, this body was out of control and she couldn't move.

Am I going to die again just after I came through?

Being close enough, I could still hear the old man muttering, "This is your last contribution to the Bai family! You deserved a good death!"

Lin Huahua was shocked and didn't bother to look for anyone. She hurriedly got up and tried to stop the old man.

"Grandpa, you can't do this..."

She hurriedly grabbed his hand, closed her eyes, and bit it.
