Chapter 37: Fighting the Bungarus Snake Again

I just saw Yu leaning against a tree, motionless.

"Sister-in-law Yu, are you okay?"

Yu's voice trembled slightly, but she didn't move. "Youyou, hurry up... There's a snake..."

Snake? Tang Youyou was excited. Isn't this just sending money?

[Ding! Bungarus, one hundred taels of silver!]

He looked around and finally found a snake head among the leaves.

My heart skipped a beat: "Sister-in-law Yu, you won't be bitten, right?"

Yu's voice did not come, and Tang Youyou cursed inwardly.

I picked up a wooden stick and attacked the snake's head. Perhaps the snake had just bitten someone and was resting, so it seemed to have fainted.

She didn't care whether it was dead or alive, she put a wooden stick on the snake's body and prepared to sell it.

Unexpectedly, the snake actually scurried up along the wooden stick with a whoosh.

She was so scared that she quickly threw away the stick, but the snake refused to give in, spitting out its tongue and staring at her closely.

"Damn it, if a tiger doesn't show its might, you think I'm a sick cat!"

Several huge rocks blocked the snake's way, and then an iron pot covered it tightly.

"Wait, I'll deal with you later!"

Looking at Yu, I found that her lips were black, and I couldn't help but sigh, it's really poisonous.

He gritted his teeth and spent fifty taels to buy a bottle of Bungarus cobra serum, which he quickly injected into Yu.

He looked at the pot, took out a rope, tied it around one of the pot ears, and then threw the rope onto a tree branch. He pulled it upwards, and the pot flipped over. The snake also jumped up and sprayed venom.

Tang Youyou was delighted: I've been waiting for you to jump up.

The wrist-thick wooden stick hit it accurately at the vital point, and it lay on the ground motionless like a piece of mud.

"Little guy, can't I deal with you?"

"Good skills!" a man's voice came.

Tang Youyou frowned, put the snake on the wooden stick, and sold it. The money naturally went into the space.

Turning around, I saw a man in black with a sword in his hand, and there was a heroic look between his brows.

Her heart skipped a beat. She wondered when this man had arrived. He hadn't seen her treating Yu just now.

"Excuse me for being so presumptuous. I just saw you using a rope to tie the pot, and I was a little confused..."

She breathed a sigh of relief.

"My dear sister, that was a coral reef snake, right? I wonder if you can bear the pain and let it go. I really need it!"

Tang Youyou pursed her lips, feeling a little uncomfortable. Could she speak? Who was she calling Big Sister?

The stick stirred the leaves and screamed: "Oh, where is my snake?"

The man ran down in two or three steps and looked at Tang Youyou with some regret. He always felt that something was wrong. The snake was obviously dead just now.

"Isn't it pretending to be dead again? It pretended to be dead the first time." Tang Youyou said to herself.

Then he turned to the man and said, "Why did you interrupt me just now? Did the snake run away?"

The man's mouth twitched, and he sighed slightly: "Originally, I wanted to buy this snake with ten taels of silver, but it seems that I am not going to get it!"

"How much did you say?" Tang Youyou's eyes widened.

"Oh! Never mind. Since you've already run away, I'll take my leave now!"

After saying that, he used Qinggong to leave.

She breathed a sigh of relief. She was almost exposed. This man was too cautious and stared at her closely when he spoke. Fortunately, she was good at acting.

He turned to look at Yu, carried her on his back and walked away, taking the pot with him.

Yu woke up midway, feeling a numbness in her left leg. She burst into tears after remembering:

"Tang Youyou, remember to burn paper money for me, you damn woman. I finally came treasure hunting with you, but ended up getting bitten by a snake. Woo woo woo..."

"You won't die..." She really didn't know how to comfort people.

"Have pity on my four little boys, Tang Youyou, you have to promise me that after I die, you will live with my man. Otherwise, I will not let you go even if I become a ghost and will knock on your door every day..." The more she said, the more outrageous it became.

She was speechless, put the person down, took out a steamed bun and handed it to her: "Eat it, and eat until you're full!"

Yu stopped crying, grabbed the steamed bun and stuffed it into her mouth.

"When you die, I will sell all your sons so that my family can live in a brick and tile house..."

"You...you dare, cough cough cough..." Yu's eyes widened and her face flushed.

A water bag was handed to her: "I said you won't die, then you won't die. That snake is not poisonous!"

"Gudong gulp!" After drinking it, I felt relaxed both physically and mentally.

"How can it not be poisonous? I feel like I can't move half my body!"

"That's because I was scared. Don't you believe me and walk a few steps?"

Yu stood up and took two steps, feeling somewhat skeptical. "Huh? That's strange, but my legs are still weak!"

Tang Youyou carried her on his back without saying a word and left: "Don't talk about you, I was also scared when I saw that soft thing. Now I have goose bumps all over my body when I think about it. Go home and have a good sleep, everything will be fine tomorrow morning!"

Yu was a little embarrassed: "I'm sorry, Youyou, I just... just..."

"I didn't hear it, hahaha...Does Brother Xu know that you dislike his smelly feet?"

"You...you are not allowed to tell anyone..."

The two of them burst into laughter.

On her way home, she called Lin Huahua and said, "Take some eggs to your Aunt Yu's house and tell her to nourish herself well. In a couple of days, she'll go hunting wild boars in the mountains with me!"

She made a mark on the tree today and will go to other places tomorrow. Her purpose is of course to get Polygonum multiflorum. No one has completed that task yet, and she wants the five hundred taels of silver.

Turning around, she found Xue'er lighting a fire in the kitchen, but she did not stop her. After all, this girl was very thoughtful. If she did more work, she would have less time to think about random things.

"Xue'er, you will live in the new house tonight!"
