Lin Mingfei walked briskly. He turned into a tree-lined avenue and saw two people fighting in the basketball court. There were not many people playing basketball at night. When he got closer, he could clearly smell the scent of two different types of Alpha pheromones in the evening breeze.
They used to be close friends living under the same roof, so they naturally knew each other's pheromones very well. If these two guys had not violated laws and regulations by releasing pheromones in public without authorization, they would have fought and shed blood.
Shi Ya is a carefree, lazy guy. He has a car but doesn't drive it, and he doesn't go home. He believes in enjoying life in the moment, and treats people with gentleness. He rarely gets angry with people. How could Ping Shuai make him so angry...
Lin Mingfei's face quickly turned gloomy. She quickly jumped into the basketball court, grabbed Shi Ya and dragged him away from Ping Shuai.
"Let me go!" Shi Ya was still roaring. He pointed at the pale man with messy hair lying on the ground, as if he wanted to tear him apart. "If I don't beat you, the ungrateful wolf, into submission today, I won't be called Shi!"
Ping Shuai raised his hand and wiped the blood from the corner of his lips with the back of his hand, his face extremely gloomy.
"Shiya, you're awesome." He climbed up tremblingly and sneered, "It's so great just because your pheromones are a little strong, right? Do you think I'm afraid of you just like that?"
"You're not afraid, are you? Fine! Come over here if you can!" Shi Ya laughed in anger, "You know Zero, right? He never played a single game for Sabretooth. The Goblins don't need a substitute like him! But do you know how much Cai Lun paid him? 20 million, and Dylan's net worth is only 30 million!"
"Can you give me 20 million?" Ping Shuai retorted, taking a breath. "If you can't, then stop being so jealous!"
"I'm jealous of you? You're so damn happy being a high-paid water dispenser guy in Sabertooth Tiger, right? Can't you see what Cai Lun is up to? Where's your ambition? Did it get eaten by a dog?"
Lin Mingfei's eyes wrinkled. He finally understood that Ping Shuai was unwilling to leave.
In fact, he had already anticipated that there might be such an ending. After all, not everyone is as loyal as Zhou Yanjun, and not everyone is willing to step out of their comfort zone like Bo Yu, but adults must learn to respect the choices of others.
"Forget it. Everyone has their own ambitions. 20 million to inspect the water dispenser is a good job. Forced melons are not sweet." He pressed Shi Ya's shoulder and said lightly: "Let's go."
"I just can't fucking understand why Polaris would bring out a piece of trash like him!" Shi Ya was still furious.
Ping Shuai was startled by these words. He turned his head away and glared at Lin Mingfei.
"Polaris? Come on! I'm too embarrassed to say I'm from Polaris!" He suddenly raised his voice and screamed at Lin Mingfei and Shi Ya in anger, "The captain took the lead in hooking up, and if someone gets killed, he should go overseas to hide! You, Master Shi, are a sissy who only knows how to hang out in the internet celebrity circle and get into trouble for your affairs. Zhou Yanjun is full of shit and fights with the rich, and there's also Bo Yu, a taciturn guy who can't even say a word. Is there any hope for a team like yours? Do you still have the nerve to go back to the league? Stop making fun of me! Sabertooth Tiger will hang you up and beat you!"
A cold light suddenly flashed in Lin Mingfei's eyes.
Ping Shuai was still thrashing about in rage, picking out the most offensive things he could find. "Esports is now dominated by saber-toothed tigers! Zero, don't you have any idea what's going on? You haven't even touched Wang Ling in two years, so how can you compare to Dylan? Wouldn't it be nice to be a legend overseas? Why do you have to come back and embarrass yourself? Only someone as idiotic as Zhou Yanjun would be fooled by you, leaving KUQ and returning to Polaris—"
Before he finished speaking, he suddenly smelled a thick and rich scent of sandalwood in the air.
It was clearly a soft woody scent, but it felt like it was wrapped in a heavy iron, pressing him down so hard that he had to crawl down inch by inch, shaking uncontrollably.
Lin Mingfei had already pushed Shi Ya away. He moved closer to Ping Shuai, squatted down, and released powerful and fierce pheromones with an expressionless face.
"Shiya's pheromones are still too gentle for you." He said word by word, his tone calm and cold. "I can understand your laziness, greed, and lack of ambition, and I respect your choice, but I cannot tolerate you using my teammates as an excuse, and I will not allow you to insult them."
Ping Shuai's upper and lower teeth were chattering violently, cold sweat was pouring down, soaking his shirt. The suppression brought by the high-level Alpha pheromones was absolute, and the fear was so overwhelming that it forced him to surrender.
Lin Mingfei raised her eyes and glanced at the surveillance range in the distance.
"You're very good at choosing places." He said with a half-smile, "This is a blind spot."
"You..." Ping Shuai couldn't even form a coherent sentence, and trembled: "Isn't your Team P known for... principles... high quality -"
"You just said that everyone in our team is a bad guy. You can't look so easy to bully, right?" Shi Ya said sarcastically while standing not far away with her arms folded.
"Yeah, it seems like he's just seeking fame." Lin Mingfei smiled faintly, his narrow eyes curved into an evil arc under the dim light, his face was handsome and dark like a medieval vampire. While speaking, he actually took out a pair of thin black gloves from his pocket, shook them open and put them on, then cracked his finger bones with a "crackling" sound, and left the last sentence.
"Ping Shuai, Team P doesn't need you."
The White Snow Underground Palace lived up to its name. Though clearly isolated from the frigid outside world, silvery frost still clung to the dark walls, and piles of snow formed in the corners, creating a truly chilling atmosphere. The stone slabs framing the tomb chambers were painted with eerie, intricate totemic patterns in scarlet paint, and coffins and scattered human bones could be seen everywhere.
Zhou Yanjun and Bo Yu were both veteran visitors to this dungeon. They could go in and out three times with their eyes closed. They were leading the team very fast. After walking a few steps, Bo Yu suddenly felt something and stopped to look back.
It was not until the cat-eared girl and the hunter had passed by that he saw Xia Tong's slow-moving figure at the tail end of the team.
"Why are you moving your hands and feet in sync?" Bo Yu stared at him for two seconds and quickly pointed out the problem.
"Ah?" Xia Tong came back to her senses tremblingly, her eyes wandering: "Is there, is there?"
"You have it." Bo Yu pointed at his left hand and left leg raised at the same time and said with certainty.
Xia Tong: "I...I'm scared QAQ"
Bo Yu seemed puzzled: "It's just a game."
Xia Tong: "But I'm still scared QAQ."
Bo Yu: "Why don't you turn off the background music? This soundtrack is quite creepy."
Xia Tong: "How do I turn it off?"
Bo Yu: "Open the menu, there are sound settings."
Following Bo Yu's instructions, Xia Tong reached for the menu with trembling hands. Suddenly, a huge black shadow jumped out from the corner and screamed "Wow" at him.
"Oh my god!!!" The little wizard was so scared that his fur stood on end. Without saying a word, he covered his hat and ran for his life. He hadn't run two steps when the cat-eared girl grabbed him with one hand and pressed him to her chest, making a sound.
"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. I'm here. I'll use my E-Cup milk to protect you!" The cat-eared girl took the opportunity to ask about your well-being, her beautiful eyes narrowed, "Zhou Yanjun, are you sick? Why are you scaring him for no reason?"
The fat knight, pretending to be a ghost, held his belly and laughed out loud: "It's fun. Besides, there are no real ghosts here! Why are you so timid!"
Xia Tong shed tears like the Pacific Ocean: "Fatty, I hate you, wuwuwuwuwuwu!!"
"Oh my, Omegas are trouble." Zhou Yanjun scratched his head and was about to say a few jokes when he felt the ground beneath his feet began to shake. The sharp icicles hanging from the dome above broke and fell like sharp arrows.
"Be careful and dodge!" Zhou Yanjun's face suddenly changed, and he yelled, "Who the hell fired Lao Yi?"
