Chapter 24 Evolving Zombies

Upon discovering that several more zombies had noticed the noise behind them, Jiang Wu quickly ran back.

I was careless!

After killing seven or eight zombies that were chasing him in a skirmish, Jiang Wu wiped the rainwater off his mask and then put the pot lid aside.

With a knife in his left hand and a spear in his right, he resolutely returned to the spot where he had lured the monster.

Slowly lure the monsters in, and slowly kill them.

Every now and then, you have to run back and engage in hit-and-run tactics because you've attracted too many zombies, so killing zombies is a bit slow.

Despite having killed no fewer than 40 zombies, there were still nearly a hundred zombies blocking the entrance, drinking rainwater.

After battling the torrential rain repeatedly, Jiang Wu was gradually showing signs of fatigue.

But considering that Bai Feiming was almost dying of thirst, Jiang Wu had no choice but to continue forward.

On the second floor of the sales office, Bai Feiming lay weakly on the ground, watching Jiang Wu fighting desperately against zombies not far below.

Climbing from the back to the front curtain wall had exhausted all of Bai Feiming's strength.

She really wanted to sleep.

But when she recalls Jiang Wu's words, Bai Feiming always bites her tongue slowly with her teeth to clear her mind.

She didn't know how much longer she could hold on.

She didn't know how many zombies Jiang Wu had killed.

Her eyes were only on Jiang Wu.

His figure still seemed to be glowing, the source of all of Bai Feiming's hope.

......

After killing more than forty zombies, Jiang Wu realized he had completely overestimated his physical strength; he was already panting heavily.

Fighting intensely in the pouring rain while maintaining high concentration was exhausting!

Looking at the remaining 50 or so zombies at the gate, Jiang Wu was on the verge of collapse.

What else can we do? Kill them!

Jiang Wu continued forward with heavy steps.

This attracted four zombies. Jiang Wu slowly retreated to avoid attracting more zombies if a fight broke out.

But after taking only two steps back, Jiang Wu suddenly noticed one of the smaller zombies rushing towards him at lightning speed.

Its speed far exceeded that of the other zombies!

It's an agile, evolved zombie!

There was no time to run back. Jiang Wu stood still and thrust his spear at the skinny zombie that was charging at him.

Based on Jiang Wu's experience of killing hundreds of zombies, this blow would definitely be fatal.

But the zombie actually dodged.

It dodged the spearhead aimed at its head by diving downwards, and then grabbed Jiang Wu's right arm with a claw.

Jiang Wu was taken aback.

However, he reacted quickly, using his left hand to slash horizontally at the skinny zombie with his machete.

The skinny zombie had no way to dodge this time and was directly cut in half at the waist by Jiang Wu.

But its claws still managed to grab Jiang Wu's right arm.

The zombie's sharp claws tore open the raincoat and the two layers of clothing underneath, leaving four bloody marks on Jiang Wu's right hand.

Ignoring the pain, Jiang Wu raised his spear and thrust it fiercely into the zombie's head.

They nailed the upper half of the zombie's body directly into the ground.

Jiang Wu pulled out his spear and carefully examined the evolved zombie.

Like the strong, evolved zombie we killed last time, its entire skin was a bluish-gray color.

Several centimeters long, jet-black fingernails had grown on my hands, and they looked exceptionally sharp.

Moreover, its entire body seemed to have shrunk.

The clothes I'm wearing are loose and baggy.
