Even though they knew that this world was different from the world before, seeing such a huge bird still terrified them.
The next second, Lin Xiaotian was the first to react. He shouted, "Everyone, take cover! Hide!"
His voice was tinged with anxiety, and his volume rose due to nervousness.
The composure he had shown moments before was gone.
Everyone snapped out of their daze and scrambled for cover, their steps hurried and some nearly tripping in their haste.
Their eyes were still filled with horror, and their hearts were pounding violently in their chests as if they were about to burst out of their chests.
However, before they could completely hide, the giant golden bird suddenly swooped down towards their location.
It flew at an extremely fast speed, like a golden lightning bolt slicing through the sky, covering a long distance in the blink of an eye.
Immediately afterwards, the giant bird came to a steady stop where they had just been standing, its huge claws leaving several deep craters in the ground.
What shocked them even more was that two graceful figures were sitting on the back of the giant bird.
Lin Xiaotian and Dai Chenglin peeked out from behind their cover, and when they saw what was happening, their eyes were filled with disbelief.
This giant bird is actually a mount?
This completely overturned their understanding!

The golden giant bird affectionately nuzzled its massive head against the Blood Woman's hand before soaring into the sky.
After the giant bird flew into the sky, Blood Woman smiled slightly at Lin Xiaotian and Dai Chenglin and said, "You can call me Blood Woman. Now you don't have to be nervous anymore."
Lin Xiaotian took another deep breath to appear more composed and said seriously, "My name is Lin Xiaotian, and I am the leader here. I have 800 people under my command, including 8 evolved beings."
Seeing that Lin Xiaotian had lied about the number of people by more than double, Dai Chenglin didn't expose him. Instead, he imitated Lin Xiaotian and said with a smile, "My name is Dai Chenglin. My forces are in another place, and I have 600 people under my command, including six evolved beings."
After a pause, Dai Chenglin added, "We are the two most powerful forces in this city, and others more or less obey our orders."

Where they had originally stood, the Blood Woman stood gracefully.
They didn't even see the Blood Woman's movements clearly.
Lin Xiaotian felt an overwhelming force strike him, and his body was sent flying uncontrollably, crashing heavily to the ground. He cried out in horror, "What are you doing?"
But the Blood Woman simply smiled slightly, and once again transformed into a streak of red light, appearing in front of Lin Xiaotian as if by teleportation, her speed so fast that it was impossible to keep up.
Before Lin Xiaotian could react, he was sent flying several meters away again, rolling around on the ground several times before finally stopping.
Dai Chenglin was dumbfounded; this speed was terrifying!
When he saw the woman in blood looking at him, his legs went weak with fear, and he quickly turned around to run away.
But the next second, he felt a tremendous force strike his back, sending him flying backward and crashing heavily into a boulder, making him grimace in pain.
The Blood Woman then looked at the other men who were hiding.
She transformed into a ghostly red shadow and flashed toward the nearest person.
Soon, the twenty-odd men who had been hiding were thrown out.
Some people tried to escape, but were immediately kicked back by the Blood Woman, falling and getting dizzy.
Those who tried to fight back were simply grabbed by the neck and thrown higher and farther.
Just a few minutes later, the twenty-odd men, including Lin Xiaotian and Dai Chenglin and several other evolved beings, obediently stayed there, not daring to resist in the slightest.
Their eyes were filled with horror.
This is terrifying; the Blood Woman's strength has exceeded their comprehension.
The Blood Woman smiled and said, "My subordinates all like to call me Lady Blood Woman. Now, are you all ready to obey my orders?"
Dai Chenglin understood at this moment. He knew that the woman in front of him was far more powerful than they could handle. If they continued to resist, they would probably lose their lives.
So he forced a smile and said with a grin, "Lady Blood Maiden, whatever you command, I will do! My men and I are willing to acknowledge you as our master!"
Lin Xiaotian also got up from the ground, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. Although he was full of resentment, he knew that the situation was beyond his control, so he could only respectfully call out, "Blood Lady".
He understood that if the other side wanted to kill them, it wouldn't take them any effort at all.
