It wasn't until we climbed to the sixth floor that the fire door was finally unlocked.
Jiang Wu pushed open the door and walked out. A smart young man was smoking in the elevator lobby.
Upon seeing Jiang Wu, the energetic young man was so frightened that he threw away his cigarette and ran away as if fleeing.
Jiang Wu had finally encountered a living person, so how could he let him get away? He immediately gave chase.
After chasing for only a dozen steps, Jiang Wu suddenly stopped.
He then noticed that there were more than a dozen people staring at him blankly in the office area outside the elevator.
There are both men and women inside.

Jiang Wu slowly walked towards the crowd, and several burly men with bare chests came up to him, all of them carrying fire axes.

Jiang Wu felt that the people in front of him looked somewhat familiar; they must all be his former coworkers.

Upon hearing Jiang Wu's words, the dark-faced burly man and the others exchanged bewildered glances.
A thin man ran up from the crowd and exclaimed excitedly, "Jiang Wu! You're still alive?!"
Jiang Wu looked at the thin man, and after just one glance, he felt a surge of anger rising within him.
He also smiled and said, mimicking the thin man, "Mr. Li, it's been over a week since I last saw you. You're still alive!"
The man who arrived was Li Dahua, Jiang Wu's former foreman.
Having been a law-abiding citizen for over thirty years, who does Jiang Wu hate the most?
The first on the list are the heartless parents who abandoned me in an orphanage shortly after I was born.
Li Dahua is ranked second.
Over three years, he deducted money from Jiang Wu's pay for various reasons.
For Jiang Wu, who usually only buys pork in small quantities, that money is his life.
Unfortunately, Jiang Wu was of low status and had little influence, so he had to rely on the company to give him work.
They could only swallow their anger for three years.
