This scene left Dai Chenglin and the others completely dumbfounded.
In the past, those zombies would rush at them like mad dogs as soon as they spotted them.
Not to mention these more advanced, fast-moving zombies.
But what's going on with this rapidly growing zombie?
Dai Chenglin and the others did not dare to make any rash moves for a moment. They just looked at the rapidly growing zombie not far away and were filled with endless doubts.
Upon closer inspection, they discovered that the rapidly growing zombie was actually wearing a protective suit dyed red.
The protective suit was stained with dark red zombie blood.
You can even see fragments of zombie entrails stuck to the protective suit.
The zombie's joints and neck were bound with animal hides of some unknown animal. The hides gleamed with a cold, hard metallic luster in the dim light, and looked very sturdy.
It even had a red safety helmet on its head.
This is actually a fast-moving zombie wearing protective gear!
This discovery caused Dai Chenglin and others great distress.
The speed of the zombies is already terrifying, but their weakness is that their bodies are relatively fragile.
But the one standing in front of them now is fully armed. It seems the only way to kill this fast-moving zombie is to stab it in the head from the front with a sharp weapon!
But how easy is that?
Dai Chenglin's forehead was covered in sweat as he looked at the rapidly growing zombie in front of him, unsure of how to proceed.
They might not even make it to the army before their own deaths.
Suddenly, Dai Chenglin noticed several beams of light from flashlights not far behind the zombie.
This sudden light, like a ray of dawn in the darkness, filled Dai Chenglin and his men with immense joy.
Only humans would use this thing!
The only people who could get in at this point are from that same army!
A surge of hope welled up in Dai Chenglin's heart. While keeping a wary eye on the zombie, he shouted at the top of his lungs, "Is this the army that's here to retake Tongcheng? We're here! There's a powerful, fast-moving zombie here!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a white figure rapidly approached from a distance.
With the help of the dim light, Dai Chenglin could roughly see things.
It turned out to be a beautiful woman dressed in a white robe.
And he is clearly an agile type of evolver!
Dai Chenglin was overjoyed. With the help of this agile evolved human, it would be possible to deal with this fast-moving zombie!
He shouted immediately, "Let's kill this zombie together!"
The woman in white had already arrived beside the M2. She glanced indifferently at Dai Chenglin and the others, and said unhurriedly, "This is the master's pet. You don't need to be afraid. How many of you are here?"
Dai Chenglin and his companions were completely dumbfounded.

Keeping zombies as pets?
This is absolutely outrageous!
But the rapidly growing zombie didn't attack the woman in white; it just stood there quietly.
Dai Chenglin took a deep breath and asked cautiously, "Are you in the military?"
The woman in the white robe nodded.
Just then, several more figures heard the commotion and quickly walked over, each carrying a flashlight.
When Dai Chenglin and the others saw the newcomers' uniform combat attire and Type 95 automatic rifles, they were overjoyed.
It really is the military!
And they are an army armed to the teeth!
Dai Chenglin could no longer contain his joy and exclaimed, "We have a total of 286 people! The rest are on the second basement level!"
The woman in white nodded, took out a walkie-talkie, and pressed the call button. "There are 286 survivors in this large underground parking garage. No zombies have been found yet. Send a platoon down to gather the survivors."
Before long, more than thirty fully armed soldiers came over.
Upon seeing the woman in white, they all bowed in greeting.
Even though they belonged to the Radiant Army, the woman in white was, after all, a trusted servant of the Blood Maiden.
Even their regimental commander treated them with great respect, let alone them.
Then, the platoon leader walked up to Dai Chenglin and said seriously, "Bring your men out..."
When the more than 280 people who had been hiding on the second basement level came to the surface, led by a group of soldiers, everyone was stunned.
The ground was like a battlefield, covered in black and red blood. Stepping on it felt like stepping into a pool of blood.
Zombie limbs and severed bodies were scattered everywhere; as far as the eye could see, there were zombie corpses everywhere.
The stench permeated the air, and even though they had been trapped in the Copper City dealing with zombies, they were still overwhelmed by the stench.
Besides the zombie corpses, they also saw hundreds of fully armed soldiers in the distance. These soldiers seemed to be resting, but they exuded a reassuring aura.
Every now and then, a large military green truck and a modified off-road vehicle would drive past them...
Seeing these scenes, Dai Chenglin and some other men couldn't help but have tears well up in their eyes, feeling so moved they wanted to cry.
Many people have already burst into tears.
Having been trapped in this zombie-infested copper city for over a year, the fear, despair, or numbness that had accumulated were swept away in this moment.
The army really came to rescue them!
The platoon leader in charge smiled and said, "Alright, if you've seen enough, come with us to the containment point. Get yourself ready as soon as possible, we'll have to help move supplies and zombie corpses later. There's a lot to do."
Dai Chenglin quickly wiped away his tears and shouted, "Great! I'm a power evolver, I have inexhaustible energy!"
