Countless zombies surged out of the city like a black torrent.
The densely packed figures were like a nightmare descending.
They bared their teeth and claws, their roars deafening, as if they wanted to devour everything in the world, and pounced madly in the direction from which the sound came.
Nearly 10,000 soldiers stood ready outside the city, having already constructed numerous makeshift fortifications.
Whether it's trenches, breastworks, or other structures, they are all designed to slow down the speed at which zombies advance.
Nearly two thousand soldiers carrying firearms, their eyes solemn and focused, tried their best to hit the zombies' heads with bullets.
They knew all too well that bullets were precious.
We must aim the bullets at the zombies' heads with the utmost precision, leaving no room for error.
However, of the nearly 10,000 soldiers, fewer than 2,000 possessed these firearms; the other 7,000 or so were armed with melee weapons.
Their weapons were varied, including spears, lances, bows and arrows, and broadswords.
Everything that could potentially be used as a weapon to kill zombies was used to make weapons.
They stood in their assigned positions in large numbers.
Using their own flesh and blood, they aided their companions, who possessed firearms, in eliminating the approaching zombies.
"The blue-armored zombies are coming!! Heavy machine guns, rocket launchers ready!!!"
"Swift Zombie Horde!!! Swift Zombie Horde has appeared! Prepare the nets!!"
"Ah!! They've stormed into position number one!"
"Swift zombies are also breaking into position number two! Grenade launcher, bombard position number two!!"
"It's no use! Position number three is about to fall too!!"
"You son of a bitch! I'll fight you to the death!"
"Quick, strap explosives to me, I'll be the bait and blow up those swift zombies!"
Despite the soldiers' desperate struggle against the zombies, risking their lives.
But there were just too many zombies; they kept coming one after another, seemingly endless.
Furthermore, evolved zombies have been mixed in with them, making them impossible to guard against.
Especially those level 2 evolved zombies, also known as swift zombies and blue-armored zombies, are inherently powerful.
Once they charged into the crowd, they were like tigers among sheep, easily slaughtering the warriors.
Blood and entrails were scattered all over the ground, and the screams of the soldiers echoed throughout the battlefield.
At a time when the situation on the front lines was critical.

More than twenty buses, loaded with explosives and smeared with blood, rushed from the rear all the way to the front line.
Every driver had a determined look in their eyes and a crazed expression on their face.
The buses, like steel behemoths, rampaged through the horde of zombies, sending countless zombies flying as the twenty-odd buses sped through the air.
However, there were simply too many zombies; they swarmed toward the bus like ants.
Soon, more than twenty buses were overwhelmed and swallowed up by countless zombies.
Each bus was completely covered by countless zombies.
The bus drivers, looking out at the dense hordes of zombies, showed no fear. Instead, they used the onboard radios to call out to the other drivers.
"Haha, brothers, let's be true brothers again in the next life!"
"Good! It was worth it to know you all before I die!"
"Haha, remember my name, it's Li Jie!"
"Brother Li Jie, my name is Cheng Fei!"
"The glass can't hold on much longer. Shall we all count to three and send these zombies to their doom?"
"Haha, great idea!"

As the number "3" was called out, time seemed to stand still.
Suddenly, more than twenty buses, loaded with explosives, exploded.
It was a massive explosion that shook the heavens and the earth, with flames shooting into the sky and mushroom clouds rising overhead.
The shockwave from the explosion was like a doomsday judgment, instantly turning all the nearby zombies into fragments.
In a short time, at least several thousand zombies died.
Many more zombies, even those that didn't die, became crippled.
The zombie with a missing leg crawled laboriously on the ground, the zombie with a missing hand still tried to pounce on humans, and even the zombie with only its upper body left was still writhing wildly. The scene was like a living hell.
The zombie horde was halted by the massive explosion that rang out more than twenty times.
The evolved zombies that charged into the human battle lines were also killed by rockets or the arriving Chosen Ones evolved beings.
The battle lines, which had been in a precarious state, were stabilized again by this massive explosion.
All the human survivors are still fighting hard.
Their faces were covered in gunpowder and blood, but their eyes remained resolute.
They were not affected in the slightest by the loud noise.
Because they knew that in this apocalypse, only by desperately killing more zombies could they console their comrades who had died in the front lines.
This is the true commitment to the hope for human survival.
High up.
Seeing the carnage on the battlefield.
Watching those survivors who took down zombies with bombs.
Watching those twenty-odd suicide buses crash into the horde of corpses and turn to ashes.
The evolved beings all had solemn expressions, and some of them couldn't wait to go to the battlefield.
Without orders from their white superiors in the Chosen Ones, they could only stand there and wait for instructions.
The Westerners in their robes showed no sadness at the deaths and injuries of the soldiers. Instead, they remarked in Spanish, "The fighting spirit of the Chinese is truly remarkable. No wonder we were unable to subdue them nearly a hundred years ago."
"Yes, such fighting spirit is truly terrifying. Fortunately, this time, they are our subordinates."
"We should be even more grateful that China has a gun ban. Otherwise, given the fighting spirit of the Chinese people, and if they had enough guns and ammunition like the residents of our United States, it's hard to imagine what the situation would be like now."
