Chapter 229 Nine Heavens

After Xiao Yao left, Chu Wanwan found a large rock to sit on and began intently reading the booklet in her hands. She gradually learned that the Immortal Realm was a world with distinct levels, consisting of nine heavens, each representing a different cultivation realm and a greater abundance of resources.

The First Heaven, like the level she had just entered, is mainly inhabited by natives with no or low spiritual roots. Life here is relatively simple; people make a living by cultivating spiritual plants and mining spiritual stones, or by providing services to cultivators from the Second Heaven.

The Second Heaven is a world for cultivators. Numerous sects, large and small, exist here, creating a rich atmosphere of cultivation. Most cultivators possess celestial spiritual roots and are at various stages of the Ascension Realm. Although celestial spiritual roots and the Ascension Realm are revered beings in the lower realms, here they are merely the starting point on the path of cultivation.

In the third realm, cultivators enter the "Concentration Realm." In this realm, cultivators focus on refining their divine sense, allowing their will to align more closely with the heavens and earth. They can more precisely manipulate spiritual energy, employing techniques that utilize the elements of heaven and earth as their offensive power.

The fourth heaven is the territory of the "Spirit Transformation Realm". In this realm, cultivators can completely merge their own spiritual energy with the spiritual energy of the outside world, as if they have become the spiritual energy itself, thus achieving greater flexibility and endurance in battle, and having a feeling that their spiritual power is inexhaustible.

The fifth level is known as the "Void Realm". In this realm, cultivators can perceive the void, gain initial mastery of spatial power, achieve short-distance teleportation, and launch surprise attacks or evasions in battle.

The sixth level is known as the "Void Realm." At this stage, cultivators can freely travel between different spaces, and upon reaching that level, they can freely go to the mortal realm.

The seventh level is the "Dao Integration Realm." Cultivators there achieve oneness with the Great Dao, reaching an unprecedented level of understanding of heaven and earth. They can harness the power of the Great Dao to unleash immense strength, enough to crush any expert below the Dao Integration Realm. A mere wave of their hand can reduce them to ashes.

Entering the Eighth Heaven is the world of cultivators at the "Tribulation Transcending Realm." At this level, cultivators face an even more severe challenge—the Heavenly Tribulation. Only by overcoming the Heavenly Tribulation can their cultivation reach a higher level.

Those who fail to overcome the tribulation will have their souls scattered! Cultivators at the Tribulation Transcending Realm have gained a deeper understanding of the mysteries of heaven and earth and can use a small amount of chaotic power. Although it is only a small amount, they are already the most powerful beings in the current immortal realm.

The final Nine Heavens are the abode of cultivators in the "Chaos Realm." They are almost one with chaos, able to manipulate its power—a power that both creates and destroys—making them the most elite beings in the Immortal Realm. They are just one step away from becoming gods.

Unfortunately, the Chaos Realm experts were wiped out in the war between gods and demons tens of thousands of years ago, and now the Nine Heavens are uninhabited.

Chu Wanwan carefully read the description above, and then looked at the introduction of the immortal sects in each level of heaven. She found that the higher the level, the fewer sects there were.

The place with the most sects is the Second Heaven, and her master's sect, the Wuji Sect, is located in the Second Heaven.

After Chu Wanwan finished reading all this, it was already getting late. She looked at the Ascension Platform and was certain that Si Mingye had gone to a higher level.

So he stood up and went straight into the space to sleep.

Since entering the Immortal Realm, she no longer needs to eat.

She eats occasionally, simply because she enjoys food and savors the process of tasting different flavors. As for sleeping, it's more of a habit, and a way to allow her soul to rest.

Lying down on the comfortable bed in the space, Chu Wanwan quickly drifted off to sleep. In her dream, she seemed to return to the days she spent with Si Mingye in the lower realm, those experiences, battles, and shared growth vividly before her eyes. Although the two were temporarily separated, she believed that they would surely reunite in the near future.

The next morning, Chu Wanwan emerged from her spatial dimension, stretched, and felt refreshed. She decided to first wander around the city, to see what a city in the Immortal Realm was like, and perhaps earn some spirit stones along the way.

The feeling of being penniless made her feel insecure, so she always had to prepare some money, regardless of whether it was useful or not, just in case.

Following the map in the booklet, Chu Wanwan found the nearest city—Lingxi City. The city gate was tall and majestic, with the three large characters "Lingxi City" engraved above it. Imposing guards stood on both sides of the gate, checking people entering and leaving the city.

Chu Wanwan followed the crowd into the city and was immediately captivated by its bustling scene. The streets were teeming with people, and the stalls were filled with a dazzling array of goods, selling all sorts of spiritual herbs, spirit beast cores, magical treasures, elixirs, and other cultivation resources.

She strolled down the street, curiously observing everything around her. However, she could only look; she couldn't buy anything.

She asked a passerby about the trading market, planning to earn some spirit stones first and then come back to browse.

Chu Wanwan arrived at the trading market, which was bustling with activity and filled with the sounds of people. Cultivators were either exchanging cultivation insights in small groups or selecting the cultivation resources they needed at the stalls. In the center of the market was a huge task board, listing all kinds of tasks, from simple gathering of spiritual herbs to complex hunting of demonic beasts.

Chu Wanwan walked to the task list and examined it carefully. She wanted to find a task that could earn spirit stones without being too dangerous. After all, she was new to the Immortal Realm and didn't know enough about it, so it wasn't wise to take risks.

After some searching, she finally found a suitable task—to go to the nearby Misty Forest to collect a rare spiritual herb called "Purple Frost Flower." The reward for the task was fifty spirit stones, which was already a considerable fortune for Chu Wanwan.
