The group arrived at the Hulun Mountains and headed straight for the Elf Treasure Vault.
The Elf Treasury is located in a hidden cave deep within the Hulun Mountains. Legend has it that it was personally arranged by an ancient elven master and is filled with magical arrays and mechanisms.
As the group reached the depths of the mountains, Chu Wanwan stopped, her gaze fixed solemnly on the cave entrance ahead. Ancient runes were carved on the stone walls on either side of the cave, shimmering faintly, as if telling the glorious history of the Elven race.
"This is the entrance to the Elf Vault."
Ya'er said softly, her voice filled with awe, "These runes are protective formations left behind by ancient elven masters, and only members of the elven royal family can decipher them."
"What would happen if we didn't unlock it and forcibly broke through this stone door?" Chu Wanwan asked curiously.
"The person who destroys this gate will suffer the consequences of their own attack, ranging from serious injury to death."
As Ya'er spoke, she walked to the stone gate, then frowned and bit her index finger until it bled.
Ya'er pressed her bleeding index finger onto a rune on the stone gate.
Then, the drop of blood seemed to be absorbed by the stone wall, and the runes began to emit a dazzling light. Chu Wanwan and the other elves held their breath, watching this scene with tense anticipation.
“This is a bloodline verification for the elven royal family,” Ya’er explained. “Only those with elven royal blood can open the stone door in this way. Otherwise, even if you force it open, the protection mechanism will be triggered, and you will suffer a backlash.”
As Ya'er moved, the runes on the stone door lit up one by one, eventually converging into a beam of light that pointed into the depths of the cave. The stone door slowly opened, revealing a passage leading to the treasure vault.
The passageway was inlaid with large luminous pearls on both sides, illuminating the entire passageway as if it were daytime.
“Let’s go in,” Ya’er said. “Everyone be careful, there are other mechanisms inside the vault. Follow me and don’t touch anything!”
Chu Wanwan nodded and cautiously stepped into the passage. Ancient runes were still carved on the stone walls on either side of the passage, shimmering with a mysterious light. She could feel the powerful energy emanating from these runes, as if they could trigger some kind of mechanism at any moment.
Led by Ya'er, the group passed through the passage without incident and finally arrived inside the treasure vault.
The vault's interior was vast, filled with all sorts of precious treasures: magic scepters and ancient books. These were all heirlooms passed down through generations of the elves, containing boundless wisdom and power.
"Chu Wanwan, the Elven race once inscribed a stele stating that if anyone can save the Elven race, then the Elven race will offer up their highest staff and magic manual, as well as all the treasures in their treasury, which you may take at will!"
As Ya'er spoke, she came to a large stone wall. She didn't know how she did it, but the stone wall slowly cracked open, revealing a hidden compartment.
From the hidden compartment, Ya'er carefully took out a jade-green staff and a book that looked very ancient.
"Chu Wanwan, this is the highest staff and the most powerful magic manual of the Elven race. Now, I present them to you! Thank you for saving our Elven race!" Ya'er held the staff and manual in both hands and respectfully handed them to Chu Wanwan.
Chu Wanwan looked at the staff and manual before her, but didn't rush to take them. Instead, she looked at Ya'er and said:
"Ya'er, the staffs and manuals of the elves are of little use to us immortals, and I have no intention of cultivating magic, so I don't want these things!"
When Chu Wanwan said she didn't want these things, Ya'er breathed a barely perceptible sigh of relief.
To be honest, she was really reluctant to give away the most precious thing of the elves, but the ancestors had already made a promise, and she couldn't break her promise.
But if Chu Wanwan herself doesn't want it now, it won't be considered that the Elven race has broken their promise.
"Thank you, Wanwan. To be honest, we really need these two items. If you didn't want them, you would have solved a huge problem for us," Ya'er said sincerely, her eyes full of gratitude.
Chu Wanwan smiled. She understood Ya'er's worries and the needs of the elves. "Ya'er, since I have chosen to help you, I will not covet your treasures. I believe that with these two treasures, the elves will be able to restore their former prosperity more quickly."
"You can't just refuse the treasures. Since you don't want them, then come here!"
As Ya'er spoke, she led Chu Wanwan to a stone chamber. The chamber was filled with various high-end crystals, so shiny that they almost dazzled Chu Wanwan's eyes.
"I heard that crystals are the common currency in your Immortal Realm, so here you go!"
"Holy crap? Really?" Chu Wanwan looked at the mountain of crystals before her, a hint of surprise and joy flashing in her eyes. She truly hadn't expected such a delightful surprise.
"Are all these crystals for me?" Chu Wanwan asked in disbelief.
Ya'er nodded and said with a smile, "Yes, these are all for you. Although we elves don't use crystals directly, we collect some when trading with other races. These crystals aren't of much use to us elves, but they should be very valuable to you."
Chu Wanwan felt a surge of warmth in her heart upon hearing this. She looked deeply at Ya'er and said gratefully, "Ya'er, thank you. This gift is too precious, I..."
“Wanwan, you don’t need to say anything more. You saved our entire elven race. These crystals are insignificant compared to what you’ve done,” Ya’er interrupted Chu Wanwan and said earnestly.
Chu Wanwan smiled and did not refuse again.
"Then I won't be polite, thank you, my elven friends!" Chu Wanwan said, and began to put the crystals into her storage space.
