The little boy tried to run away after hitting someone, but Song Ning grabbed him by the back of his collar and pulled him back.
The little brat continued to struggle, shouting, "Let me go! Do you know who I am?"
"I don't care who you are. Didn't your dad tell you that you have to apologize if you hit someone?"
He looked like an eight or nine-year-old boy, but Song Ning grabbed him by the back of his collar, and he straightened his legs, trying to turn around and bite Song Ning's arm.
"You're finished. I'm going to tell my father and have you punished!"
It seems he's the son of an official.
"Fine, even if you let your father punish me, you still have to apologize to me today."
Such a big boy, rushing over like that is no joke. She felt like her back was going to break, and it still hurts a little.
Song Ning was already anxious because she couldn't find Xiao Tao, and now this kid has walked right into her line of fire.
The people from Yunxiufang ran over, and Song Ning, carrying one of them, instructed, "Please help me report this to the yamen and say that my child is missing."
"Ai."
As soon as the person left, Song Ning dragged him into the alley and said coldly, "Apologize."
"No way!" the kid retorted, stubbornly refusing to back down.
Song Ning never believed that the older should give way to the younger; she only believed in reason.
Xu Feng watched as the person opposite him raised the corners of his mouth, and then, seemingly out of nowhere, a rope appeared and tied him up.
He had struggled as hard as he could, but a girl like him was surprisingly strong.
"If you don't let go of me, I...I'll have my dad arrest you!"
Song Ning crossed his arms and said, "Besides bringing up your father, what other abilities do you have? If you don't apologize today, don't even think about going home."
Xu Feng still wore an arrogant expression. Apologize? Impossible.
Song Ning still needed to find Xiao Tao, so of course she couldn't keep wasting time with him like this.
"Fine, then you'll have to come with me. You can go back whenever you apologize."
And so, this scene unfolded on the street.
A little girl is holding a rope, and a little boy is tied to the other end of the rope.
Xu Feng kept shouting and begging passersby to save him, but Song Ning raised an innocent smile: "Uncles and aunts, he is my younger brother. He always runs around causing trouble. My parents are too busy to take care of him, so they asked me to bring him back."
Upon hearing this, no one dared to meddle. Xu Feng shouted that she wasn't his sister, but no one believed him; they just thought the child was rebellious.
After all, Song Ning was only a thirteen-year-old girl, and her explanation was very convincing.
After asking around along the way, they finally found someone who had seen Xiao Tao.
"The little girl was taken away by a man, and it seems that the man even bought her a roast chicken."
After hearing the man's description, Song Ning had only one thought in her mind: It's over, this time it's really over.
Xiao Tao has really been kidnapped.
Song Ning asked several more people anxiously, but they all shook their heads, indicating they had never seen him before.
Xu Feng, standing behind her, realized that Song Ning was in trouble.
"Hey, let me go, and I can help you."
Song Ning ignored him and continued walking and shouting.
A carriage approached, and Song Ning and his men moved to the side.
She was in such a hurry that she didn't even recognize that the person driving the carriage was Zhang Ping.
Just as they were about to continue walking, the person inside the car lifted the curtain and glanced outside.
Xie Linzhou heard Zhang Ping speaking from inside the carriage, and then looked outside, only to see Song Ning walking forward anxiously.
He had the carriage stopped and called out, "Song Ning."
This was the first time Xie Linzhou had called Song Ning by her name like that, and after he did, the back of his ears turned slightly red.
Seeing Song Ning looking over, he said calmly, "Come here."
Song Ning was in a hurry and didn't have time to argue with him: "General Xie, I have something to do today. I'll talk to you another time."
After saying that, he turned to leave, but Xie Linzhou asked with displeasure, "Are you looking for Xiao Tao?"
Song Ning's eyes were red as she turned around abruptly: "How do you know? You've seen her? Where did you see her?"
As soon as she finished speaking, a small head popped out of the window, grinning broadly: "Sister."
Song Ning was stunned for a moment, then closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh of relief.
Xiao Tao, unaware of the seriousness of the situation, shamelessly asked, "Sister, what's wrong?"
Sure enough, disobedient children need to be punished.
She was furious and yelled at the people in the carriage, "Who told you to run around like that?"
As he spoke, he tried to climb onto the carriage and pull the person down: "Come on, get down here, or I'll teach you a lesson today!"
So what if she's a little girl? She should be punished for her mistakes.
As soon as the carriage curtain was lifted, Xie Linzhou carried the person out.
Xiao Tao shrank her neck, now finally realizing that she had done something wrong.
"The child is still young, just say a few words and that's enough, don't be too harsh." Xie Linzhou was essentially pleading on his behalf.
Xiao Tao stood on the ground and quickly came over to tug at Song Ning's clothes: "Sister, I was wrong."
It has a sweet, childlike voice and is extremely well-behaved.
Song Ning glared at her but didn't say anything.
After Xie Linzhou told her what had happened, Song Ning's expression softened a bit: "You're not allowed to run around like that anymore, understand?"
Xiao Tao nodded: "I understand, I will definitely be good from now on."
Xu Feng, who had been standing behind him, couldn't take it anymore: "Um... could you please let me go first?"
Having been dragged along by Song Ning the whole way, she had no temper left and spoke very politely.
Xie Linzhou had noticed the person behind Song Ning earlier, but since the girl was in a bad mood, he didn't ask any questions.
Xiao Tao pointed at Xu Feng: "Sister, who is he?"
Song Ning glared at him: "He's an impolite kid."
