The two carriages were traveling on a narrow road, where there were fewer people, making it a faster route to the Princess's residence. The Mu family's carriage also happened to be passing by.
Mu Xueyun looked at her with disdain, raised her head, and instructed the driver, "Ignore her, let's go first."
To be honest, Mu Xueyun looks much better. Last time she went there, her face was deathly pale.
It's nothing serious.
"Let's wait and let her go first."
The Mu family's carriage creaked and groaned as it moved ahead. Before Mu Xueyun's smug expression could even fade, suddenly, accompanied by a horse's mournful neigh, Mu Xueyun screamed, and the entire carriage was overturned.
Song Ning suddenly lifted the carriage curtain to check the situation and saw a group of men in black suddenly appear and start fighting with the Mu family's guards.

Giving them food but not untying them is worse than not giving them anything at all.
Seeing that the woman didn't move, Song Ning immediately said, "Don't worry, we're just two young girls, we definitely can't beat you, we won't run away."
After thinking for a moment, the woman finally stepped forward and untied them.
"Don't try any tricks."
Song Ning smiled sweetly, "No, no, I wouldn't dare."
After untying the ropes binding his hands, Song Ning picked up the steamed bun from the bowl; it was cold and hard.
However, he was very obliging and broke off a piece and took a bite.
As soon as the person left, Mu Xueyun looked at the steamed bun in the bowl with a disgusted expression and refused to eat it.
"Just a heads up, this isn't your Mu family's place. This is probably the only meal we'll have today. If we don't eat soon, even this might be gone."
After eating half a steamed bun, Song Ning untied the ropes binding her feet, stood up, walked to the door, and looked outside.
There were two guards not far outside, and two more standing guards outside the window. They knew they couldn't fight them head-on, so they had to think of another way.
Turning back to look at Mu Xueyun on the ground, he suddenly had an idea.

"Mu Xueyun, are you crazy? I've disliked you for a long time! You're asking for it!"
"So what if I don't like you? I come from a good family, I'm good-looking, I'm better than you in every way, General Xie will never like you!"
"What a joke! General Xie hasn't even given you a glance. You think you can compete with me? In your next life!"
Mu Xueyun's furious voice rang out: "You, I'm going to kill you."
"ah!"
Song Ning screamed, and then a thud came from inside.
Those outside heard the piercing screams coming from inside and rushed in.
Song Ning lay in a pool of blood. Mu Xueyun held a shard of a bowl in her hand, her body and face covered in blood. She stared fiercely at Song Ning lying on the ground, her hands trembling.
Those who don't know the truth might think this was a case of bloodlust, but it was actually just fear.
She had never seen so much blood in her entire life.
Although Song Ning said it was chicken blood, it was still blood.
The person who rushed in stepped forward, checked Song Ning's breath, and shook his head.
Mu Xueyun swallowed nervously, not daring to look at the men in black, and breathed a slight sigh of relief, checking her breathing.
"What do we do now?"
"What's the point of keeping someone alive when they're already dead?"
