Chapter 19 I Just Feel That You Need Me
Lin Layue looked up at Gu Nan, his eyes slightly red and his eyes sparkling. He asked Gu Nan for help, his painful face filled with an alluring sense of taboo.
Even though Lin Layue had never experienced the original plot, the helplessness he unconsciously revealed still made people feel invited.
It makes people want to invade, to possess, and to watch him lose his mind in painful pleasure.
Any emotion appearing on this face can increase the lethality hundreds or thousands of times.
But Gu Nan was only distracted for a moment, then pulled his hand down with force.
"You have to make it through on your own."
Lin Layue didn't hear clearly what Gu Nan said. He only knew that he was very uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that he was about to go crazy. He trusted Gu Nan, so he asked her for help like a child.
He reached out to pull her again, his voice filled with tears, just like a child who has fallen down and is asking for help from an adult.
"Help……"
Gu Nan felt that it might be impolite to stay any longer.
After pondering for a moment, he drained the water from the bathtub, turned on the shower, and turned to leave the bathroom.
She didn't go far, but stood at the door to prevent the unconscious Lin Layue from getting into an accident.
But Lin Layue didn't know that as soon as Gu Nan left, her rationality instantly collapsed.
For a moment, he felt like he was a lone boat, drifting with the waves, without a lighthouse, and surrounded by endless darkness.
He called out to Gu Nan in vain, over and over again, as if this could ease the fire burning in his body and soul.
It was a tough night.
Whether it is Lin Layue or Gu Nan.
It was not until the early morning that Lin Layue regained consciousness.
Lin Layue was lying in the messy bathtub, soaked all over. Her dazed eyes fell on the glass door of the bathroom, looking at the vague shadow.
This was the scene that Gu Nan saw when he entered.
Lin Layue was shirtless, with messy hair covering most of her eyebrows and eyes. The blush on her cheeks had not yet faded, like a ball of rouge falling into water and spreading softly. Her slender neck tilted back, and the protruding Adam's apple looked sexy and decadent.
The most eye-catching thing is the pair of empty eyes, like the glass beads of an old doll, dark and dull, without a trace of light.
However, when he looked over, the empty and dead silence gradually dissipated, and the star-like light rekindled, and a small shadow was reflected in the inky pupils.
Gu Nan slowly squatted down in front of him and put a bath towel on him.
"It's all right once you get through it."
Lin Layue rubbed Gu Nan's palm affectionately, then lowered her eyes slightly, her wet eyelashes flashing in the light.
He responded to her in a hoarse voice: "Yeah."
Gu Nan helped him up and returned to the room, where clean clothes she had prepared were placed next to his pillow.
She wanted to go out to avoid it, but Lin Layue grabbed her wrist and said, "Don't go."
Gu Nan paused for a moment, "I'll go get you some warm water, you need to hydrate."
Lin Layue still didn't want her to leave, but after two seconds of stalemate, she finally let go.
Gu Nan went to pour some hot water and put the food in the microwave to heat it up. When he went back in, Lin Layue had already changed her clothes and was trying to get out of bed.
"Have a good rest and don't move around." Gu Nan handed him the hot water.
Lin Layue wanted to take it, but her hands were so weak that she couldn't hold it steady.
So Gu Nan had to feed him.
After drinking the water, Gu Nan put the cup away, opened the medicine box, and began to clean his wound.
She was not a professional and could only give him a simple treatment. He would have to go to the hospital for an X-ray tomorrow to find out the details of the injury on the back of his head.
The wound on my head is okay, as it has hardly been touched by water, but the wound on my wrist has turned white from blisters, and I don’t know if it will get infected.
Gu Nan applied medicine to him and bandaged him with gauze. "Don't touch water for the next few days. Change the medicine frequently. If you have a fever or feel uncomfortable, be sure to tell me."
Lin Layue responded obediently.
The ointment that Gu Nan had bought for Lin Layue was placed on the bedside. She unscrewed it and squeezed some onto a cotton swab, then turned her hand over his face to apply the ointment on him.
The skin on the palm of my hand was still a little hot, and after the abnormal blush faded, only paleness remained.
Lin Layue felt Gu Nan's body temperature and unconsciously revealed a love that he himself was not aware of. She was affectionate and cautious.
He stared at Gu Nan's focused face and murmured softly: "Sister..."
Gu Nan raised his eyes, "What's wrong?"
At this moment, their eyes happened to meet, and Lin Layue suddenly felt his heart beating faster. He subconsciously held his breath, and his gaze was confused for a moment before returning to her face.
"Can I call you that?"
Gu Nan didn't notice his strangeness and threw the used cotton swab into the trash can. "Of course, I said so this morning."
Lin Layue recalled the scene of the two of them sitting together and having breakfast in the morning. It was less than a day ago, but it seemed like a lifetime ago.
He couldn't help but ask, "How did you know I was there?"
He thought about calling Gu Nan, but before he could do so, his phone was smashed to pieces by Dai Jun. He thought that this was the outcome for him today, but he didn't expect Gu Nan to suddenly appear, like a god descending from heaven.
The throbbing in that moment makes my scalp tingle when I think about it now.
Gu Nan didn't answer his question immediately. Instead, he paused for a moment before saying, "I don't know. I just thought you might need me, so I came to find you."
She had some selfish thoughts when she said this, so she didn't look at Lin Layue, nor did she notice his panic and his suddenly red eyes.
When she looked up at him, Lin Layue had already lowered her eyes and said in a normal voice, "Sister, you saved me again."
Gu Nan felt that he looked really well behaved and could really arouse the animal desires in people. He rubbed his head vigorously, ruffling his black hair. "It's okay, don't be so dejected. I hope you can be well and be happy every day."
Lin Layue gave Gu Nan a faint smile and said, "I will try my best not to let my sister down."
"Okay." Gu Nan also smiled and said, "It's getting late. You must be hungry. The food should be heated up. Let me show you my cooking."
She helped Lin Layue walk to the dining table, sat her down, and served the food.
Gu Nan was tired after a day of work and didn't want to make too much trouble, so he didn't try any big dishes. He just ordered stir-fried pork with chili peppers, steamed fish, kelp, shrimp and tofu soup, and small green vegetables. The portions were not big, but they looked very delicate.
Gu Nan enthusiastically picked up some food for Lin Layue, as if to invite her to eat, but he spoke very modestly, "I didn't know what you liked, so I made some. Try it and see if it tastes good."
Lin Layue ate the fish that Gu Nan had picked up, chewed it slowly, and then said slowly: "It's delicious."
Gu Nan was a little proud and took a piece for himself. "Really? It seems I've made progress..."
"Pooh!"
She vomited, "It's so fishy! I clearly marinated it in advance!"
Lin Layue took a big piece and said seriously, "It's really delicious."
Gu Nan looked at Lin Layue suspiciously as she ate piece after piece.
Finally, holding on to a glimmer of hope and a sense of unwillingness to admit defeat, I took another bite.
"Yue—Lin Layue, you are lying!"
Lin Layue pursed her lips, suppressed the smile on the corner of her mouth, and repeated, "I didn't lie to you, I think it's really delicious."
