Xiao Luomu, breathless from Zhao Cheng's weight, groaned softly, "Little Prime Minister..."
"Call me by my name!" Zhao Cheng winked at Xiao Luomu.
Xiao Luomu's eyes widened, and he nodded.
Zhao Cheng then let go of his hand and sat up.
"Brother Zhao!"
"Brother Xiao!"
"Brother Zhao!!"
"Brother Xiao!!"
The two hugged each other and burst into laughter.
Xiao Luofeng muttered, "What's wrong with my brother? He's not usually like this."
Zhao Wu said, "Commander Xiao, don't panic. People who stay with my master for too long will become abnormal. Young Master Xiao's abnormality is normal."
Zhao Cheng glanced at Xiao Luofeng and asked, "Why are you here? And with so many people?"
Xiao Luomu said solemnly, "Lingshan is in danger! I sent my brother with a hundred garrison soldiers to find you!"
As he spoke, Xiao Luomu helped Zhao Cheng up, looked him over, and asked, "Are you alright?"

Xiao Luomu frowned and quickly ran towards Xiao Luofeng, presumably to report the situation.
A moment later, Xiao Luofeng walked over and asked, "Where are the bandits you shot dead?"
Zhao Cheng led Xiao Luofeng and his group back to the three corpses.
Xiao Luofeng glanced at the corpses, then squatted down to smell them, and said, "These people are not mountain bandits, but sea pirates."
"Sea pirates?"
Zhao Cheng was taken aback. He had heard of pirates in some coastal cities in the east, but he did not expect that the pirates would dress similarly to mountain bandits.
Zhao Cheng asked, "Why would pirates come to the mountain?"
Xiao Luomu explained, "Brother Zhao, you may not know this, but the ridge of Ling Mountain is backed by the sea and is located between Qingdong City and Hannan City. Sea pirates often come to the mountain to rest."
"I truly do not know, but both mountain bandits and sea pirates have a sense of territory. These sea pirates have come to Lingshan, are they not afraid...?"
At this point, Zhao Cheng suddenly realized something and exclaimed, "I know! That whole band of mountain bandits was slaughtered by sea pirates!"
Xiao Luomu and Xiao Luofeng looked at each other in bewilderment: "What? They were massacred?"
So Zhao Cheng recounted how the bandit's den had been massacred and how the women and children had been rescued.
Xiao Luofeng analyzed, "I don't believe the mountain bandits were killed by the sea pirates."
“Young Master Zhao said they have a sense of territory, and I agree with that.”
"But precisely because of this, pirates generally don't provoke mountain bandits. If a fight really broke out, they wouldn't be a match for the mountain bandits on these mountains, so how could they possibly wipe out an entire bandit group?"
Zhao Cheng asked doubtfully, "If it wasn't the pirates who did it, could there be another group of people on the mountain? And a very powerful one at that?"
"Whether they are mountain bandits or sea pirates, they are all bad! The thirteen cities of Jingdong have a duty to eliminate bandits. Since we've encountered them, I'll just wipe them out while I'm at it!"
"Commander Xiao has quite the spirit!"
"Young Master Zhao, your men just need to protect these women and children."
Zhao Cheng nodded.
Zhou Nuo said, "I am not his person!"
Zhao Cheng quickly explained, "The Zhou siblings are chivalrous heroes."
Xiao Luofeng and Zhou Chuan exchanged greetings.
"Let's hurry before it gets dark."
Xiao Luofeng's expression and tone were stern, and his actions were swift and decisive. He immediately stepped over the three corpses and walked deeper into the jungle, stopping every few steps to check on them.
Zhao Cheng asked, "What is he doing?"
“Follow the trail.” Yang Taozhi turned and walked towards the woman and child, saying, “This man is quite capable. You go with him, and I will protect the woman and child.”
As he spoke, he gave Zhao Wu a wink and said, "Stay close to your master."
Zhao Wu immediately drew his sword and stood protectively on either side of Zhao Cheng.
Xiao Luofeng walked at the front, with a subordinate on each side a few dozen steps away to assist him, passing on the information they had gathered to him for compilation.
An hour later, Xiao Luofeng suddenly crouched down, made a concealing gesture behind him, and then quickly moved behind a large tree to observe the situation below.
Zhao Cheng tiptoed to Xiao Luofeng's side, looked down and saw several simple tents set up on the flat ground not far away, with more people outside the tents.
"Wow, you're amazing! You found it so quickly!"
Zhao Cheng gave Xiao Luofeng a thumbs up, then put his hand on his shoulder and said, "I never expected Xiao Luomu to have such an amazing older brother!"
Xiao Luofeng pried Zhao Cheng's hand away and frowned, saying, "We're not familiar with each other."
Zhao Cheng was taken aback for a moment, and asked in confusion, "I noticed it just now, that Commander Xiao seems to have some issues with me?"
"I wouldn't say I have any objections, I just don't like it," Xiao Luofeng said bluntly.
Zhao Cheng asked shamelessly, "I don't think I've offended you. Can you tell me the reason?"
Xiao Luofeng glanced at Zhao Cheng and lowered his voice, saying, "Luo Mu made such a grand entrance for you and even dragged me along. I didn't agree to it in the first place."
“Any pointless waste is sinful, especially since you haven’t even arrived yet.”
Xiao Luofeng seemed unwilling to say more, so he pushed Zhao Cheng back a little and said, "We're about to have a real fight, you and Luo Mudai go together."
Zhao Cheng smiled and said, "It seems that Commander Xiao regards me as an ignorant and incompetent playboy."
Isn't that so?
"Xiao Luomu told you that Lingshan is a no-man's-land, teeming with bandits and wild beasts, and its dangers are unknown."
As he spoke, Xiao Luofeng's gaze fell on Yang Taozhi, and he continued, "You are ignorant of your own limitations and came here presumptuously. It would be one thing if you didn't bring more guards, but you even brought a maid."
"Even at a time like this, he doesn't forget to enjoy himself. What else could he be but a spoiled brat?"
