About settings:

About Gu Ni Chi:

Many people would say that Gu Xinchi was unfaithful because he was once with Su Wenlang, and this is indeed true and needs no explanation.

But his feelings for Su Wenlang are only a very latent expression. About Qin Chang:

I passionately love every character I have created. Qin Chang is someone I cannot mention, but as his creator, I still feel sorry for him.

Many friends have asked why Qin Chang had such an ending. Let me answer this question here.

Qin Chang's setting is that no matter whether it is in the he or she ending, he will end his life in this way.

He has never felt loved in his life, and the only person who cares about him is Lin Du.

They are all people who have been through the rain and know how to cherish each other, but life is like a play. The harder people try to live, the more they will suffer a fate worse than death.

So, I selfishly think that death is the best ending for Qin Chang.

About Shen Zhichu:

I feel the same way about this couple. I prefer them, so I will write about their love in a more complicated way.

Why do I prefer and write about Nianba? Maybe it’s because in my heart, Nianba’s love is the most real (personal opinion).

Shen Zhichu has been a victim from the very beginning. His innocence makes people feel distressed. He has the right to choose freedom, but he insists on struggling in the abyss and is unwilling to let go of his lover's hand.

He thought he could save Chu Xu, but in the end he couldn't even save himself.

Some people might dislike him, thinking that he is always escaping, yet always giving Shen Zhichu fantasies.

But in my writing, he was already scarred. His father and sister died in front of him. How much willpower did he need to barely survive?

His pain was hatred for his own incompetence, guilt towards Shen Zhichu, and helplessness towards everything.

He loves Shen Zhichu, so he chooses to struggle and suffer again and again.

He loves Shen Zhichu, so he would rather suffer himself and let him let go of everything and live for himself.

He loved Shen Zhichu, and had clearly made up his mind to never return, but he still wanted him to know how much he loved him.

His self-contradiction and twisted love destined him to live in pain.

Regarding the beginning of the ending of be, I plan to start writing from the departure of Qin Chang. I hope that a different ending can also bring different feelings to everyone.
