Chapter 52 Ultimate Skill (2/2)

Chen Yingzi pinched Zhou Xiaonian's cheek: "Yingzi hasn't eaten yet. Let's play together when Niannian comes back."

Zhang Fenglian and her daughter originally wanted to come out early to help Liang Guiying set up her stall, but the weather was not cooperating, and it rained heavily for three consecutive days.

Zhang Fenglian was very anxious. If she had known it would rain every day, they wouldn't have rushed out. Now they couldn't set up their stall and were just eating for free every day, which was not good.

Liang Guiying wasn't in a hurry: "There's still a long way to go, and we can earn money all at once. We'll take it slow."

Even so, the hardworking farmers couldn't stay idle. It rained for three days, and Zhang Fenglian and her daughter spent those three days cleaning and tidying up the Zhou family home, making it spotless inside and out.

In the afternoon, the sky finally cleared up, and Zhou Xiaonian immediately pulled Chen Yingzi along, saying, "Let's go play, let's go play!"

The little girl had been trapped for three days and was about to suffocate.

Liang Guiying told Chen Yingzi about how Li Feifei was almost kidnapped by human traffickers a few days ago. Chen Yingzi's face changed when she heard this, and she didn't dare to go out. However, after coaxing Zhou Xiaonian for a long time, the girl still insisted on going.

She won't be two years old until September. All she does is eat and play; she has no idea what danger is.

Seeing that the little girl was about to cry, Chen Yingzi softened: "Then Niannian must listen to me, let's pinky swear."

The little girl happily made a pinky promise, but as soon as she stepped outside, she took off running, completely forgetting about the promise she had made.

Chen Yingzi was both amused and exasperated, and quickly chased after her. Liang Guiying called out from behind, "Don't let her out of your sight. Take her with you to the toilet too. Don't be afraid of her crying!"

"knew!"

When the children went out to play, Zhang Fenglian suggested to Liang Guiying, "It's only afternoon now. If we hurry up, we can make two or three buckets to sell. It's better than letting them mold here."

Liang Guiying took a pen and notebook from under the TV cabinet: "It's okay if we sell less for a few days. Fenglian, our ice cream parlor will be open for school soon after we start. I'm thinking of selling some other things at the ice cream parlor. Just drinking ice cream is too monotonous. Can you help me think of something good to sell?"

"Oh dear, how would I know? I'm just a country bumpkin."

Even so, Zhang Fenglian still sat down.

"The ice room mainly sells iced drinks. When people are thirsty, they want to drink water and ice, so we make things that people like to eat but are also easy to make them thirsty," Zhang Fenglian said. "Fried foods are the most suitable."

Liang Guiying's eyes lit up.

She immediately thought of the hamburgers, fries, and fried chicken that would become popular in later generations.

Of course, fried chicken is not a foreign specialty. Crispy chicken is sold in teahouses in Jiangcheng. Hamburgers are actually just two slices of bread with some green vegetables and cucumber strips in between. The ingredients and methods are not complicated. They just don't use gimmicks. Especially in Jiangcheng, which is a lower-middle-class city among the many cities in China, people's consumption concept is based on thrift and practicality, and they don't have so many fancy ideas.

So if she wants to make fried chicken and other similar products more acceptable to people, she might need to rely on advertising and create some buzz.

She doesn't have that much money on hand, so she'll put the three-piece hamburger set aside for now. Next year or the year after, when she has more money and foreign consumption concepts have come in, she'll start making fried chicken and hamburgers again.

Liang Guiying still wrote down the three-piece hamburger set in her notebook, and added a question mark: "Perhaps we can also make some lemon chicken gizzards, duck feet, and fish balls and vegetarian dishes can be sold together."

He then denied it.

Kowloon Cafe mainly sells iced drinks. If she sells this and that, wouldn't she become a snack shop?

"Or fry some fish pieces or something..."

The two huddled together whispering to each other, completely oblivious to the passage of time.

Until someone outside called out, "Is Comrade Liang Guiying home?"
