Chapter 174 Jiang Zhan is crippled

Jiang Zhan's race schedule includes the first race in the afternoon, the second race in the afternoon, and the race in the evening.

After taking a short nap at the Lu family's house, he was driven to the competition venue by the Lu family's driver.

After the driver left, Jiang Zhan carried his painting tools and went through security to enter the venue.

Someone tapped him on the shoulder from behind: "Hey, Jiang Zhan, how many big prizes are you planning to win today?"

Jiang Zhan turned around and saw that it was a fellow alumnus from the same competition venue.

"Of course, we'll take them all," he said confidently.

The alumni believe Jiang Zhan has the ability and is the strongest player in the next three matches.

"Jiang Zhan, your sister is calling you." Someone called out to him again from not far away.

Jiang Zhan looked in the direction of the shout.

A black sedan was parked on the side of the road outside the stadium. The woman in the driver's seat was wearing sunglasses and was waving at him with her head tilted to the side.

The competition is about to start, why is my sister outside the competition venue?

There must be something important they need to talk to him about, or they want to encourage him privately.

Thinking of this, Jiang Zhan did not hesitate and ran towards the black car with the things in his hands.

I opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat.

He thought his sister was just going to chat with him for a bit, but to his surprise, she shifted gears, stepped on the gas, and drove off.

Jiang Zhan immediately fastened his seatbelt: "Sis, where are you taking me? The competition is about to start."

The woman driving remained silent, her lips tightly pressed together.

Unlike his usual sketches, he noticed that his sister was wearing heavy makeup today, had a strong perfume scent, and her red lips were glistening.

The car sped off like an arrow.

Jiang Zhan gripped the roof railing tightly in fright. "Sis, you're pregnant, drive slower."

The woman remained silent throughout.

This continued until the car drove out of the city and into the suburbs.

The car stopped in a deserted wilderness.

Jiang Zhan found it rather strange.

He prepared to take his phone out of his pocket.

The car door on his side was suddenly and violently pulled open.

"Get out of the car." A burly man reached out and used brute force to pull Jiang Zhan out of the car.

"What are you trying to do?" Jiang Zhan realized something was wrong.

She grabbed her painting tools and smashed them hard against the man's face, then turned to run away.

The person who brought him here wasn't his sister at all.

She's a fake.

He hadn't run two steps.

A wooden stick slammed viciously down on the back of his head.

Jiang Zhan was in so much pain that he almost fainted, and stumbled forward a few steps.

Blood flowed down the back of his neck and down his back, staining his white T-shirt crimson.

He didn't fall down. He stood firm, clenching his fists, his sharp gaze fixed on the woman in the car who was disguised as his sister. "Who are you? Why did you try to harm me?"

The woman, who was holding the steering wheel with one hand, ignored him, lit a cigarette, and started smoking by herself.

The swirling white smoke rings blurred and obscured her face.

Jiang Zhan shook his head, and his vision began to overlap.

With trembling hands, he quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket, ready to dial the police.

The other person snatched his phone, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it until it was smashed.

Driven to the brink, Jiang Zhan bit his lip and raised his fist, ready to fight them.

He was just a twenty-year-old young man, no match for a professionally trained bodyguard.

A few minutes later, he was forced to press his hands down onto the grass.

One of them held down his right hand, pressing his palm open and down.

Jiang Zhan struggled desperately, but the other party's strength far surpassed his, as if a mountain was pressing down on him, making it impossible for him to breathe.

The woman in the car gave the bodyguard a look.

Then someone swung a wooden stick and smashed it into his fingers without saying a word.

"No!" Jiang Zhan roared, his voice filled with pleading.

They can hit him anywhere.

But it cannot be a hand.

Those are his painting hands!

"Ah—" A heart-wrenching pain echoed through the sky.

Jiang Zhan trembled all over in pain, his face turned pale, and large beads of sweat rolled down his forehead.

He stared with bloodshot eyes at the woman in the car who was in charge of everything.

She exhaled a smoke ring.

His eyes were filled with contempt and smugness.

She tossed the burnt-out cigarette onto the grass and gestured for the people to continue.

Then the car window, covered with top-quality privacy film, slowly rose, and the woman pulled off the wig on her head.

The pain came one blow after another.

Jiang Zhan was beaten until he rolled on the ground.

The severed finger appeared to have separated from the palm, with only the skin and flesh still connecting it.

A piercing scream tore through the blue sky.

The scorching sun overhead could no longer dispel the gloom above.

They finally left.

The black sedan drove off arrogantly.

Jiang Zhan, curled up on the ground, had no idea where the pain was.

He barely managed to support himself with his left hand, inching forward little by little, his blood staining the green leaves wherever he went.

We climbed all the way to the tire tracks.

Jiang Zhan frantically rummaged through the grass, as if searching for something.

His right hand, which he could no longer lift, dangled on the ground, completely mangled.

He was so tired and in so much pain.

But he can't faint yet.

He wanted that woman to pay the price.

He must find that thing.

...

Lu Zhiwei visited the competition venue and inspected the area.

However, Jiang Zhan was not found in the seat with his name on it.

He is a very punctual person.

How could I be late?

The match is about to begin.

Without saying a word, she walked out of the arena and called Jiang Zhan.

The phone was switched off, so she immediately called back to the Lu family villa to inquire about Jiang Zhan's situation.
