A strong hand grabbed Song Hanzheng's arm, forcibly pulling him away from Lu Zhiwei's embrace, and then supporting him in its own arms.
Lin Jing immediately drove over, opened the car door, got out, and helped Shen Jinmo carry the person.
“Leave this kind of thing to a man. With your skinny arms and legs, you might get crushed by him,” Shen Jinmo said to Lu Zhiwei with a smile.
After carrying Song Hanzheng to the back seat of the car, Shen Jinmo patted Song Hanzheng's face: "Why did you have to fall into Lu Zhiwei's arms? You're really scheming. It's a pity you're a doctor, given your acting skills."
Feeling dizzy and confused, Song Hanzheng felt as if he had been scolded, and he raised his eyelids to try to defend himself.
But his eyelids were too heavy and his head was very dizzy, so he couldn't open his eyes.
"Lin Jing, take him to the nearest hospital for some IV fluids."
"Okay, Mr. Shen, what about you?"
"I just need a ride."
After closing the car door, Shen Jinmo walked up to Lu Zhiwei with one hand in his pocket. "Going back already?"
Lu Zhiwei glanced at him: "What are you doing at the police station?"
"I've come to pick you up," Shen Jinmo said bluntly.
During his stay in Yunzhou, Song Hanzheng met with Lu Zhiwei almost every day. The two were very close, which made him feel uneasy.
"Your car's already left, how are you going to pick me up?"
"You've driven the car, give me the keys, and I'll be your driver." Shen Jinmo opened his palm and asked her for them.
Lu Zhiwei walked to her car, opened the door, sat in the driver's seat, and started the car.
Shen Jinmo pulled hard on the car door, only to find it locked: "Hey, if you won't let me drive, I'll just hitch a ride in the passenger seat."
Lu Zhiwei shifted gears and started the car.
Undeterred, Shen Jinmo chased after him, saying, "The back seat is fine too!"
With a roar, the sports car sped off like a cheetah, leaving Shen Jinmo standing there.
Shen Jinmo covered his brow and stood there groaning.
The president of the prestigious Shen Group is really getting worse and worse.
After receiving intravenous fluids at the hospital for a day, Song Hanzheng's condition improved.
Lu Zhiwei came to visit him.
Are you feeling better?
"Hmm." Song Hanzheng nodded, his pale face regaining some color.
"I made you some porridge, drink some." Lu Zhiwei poured the porridge from the thermos into a bowl.
Song Hanzheng took the bowl from Lu Zhiwei and drank slowly, spoonful by spoonful, feeling a warm glow in his heart.
Even though he was drinking bland and tasteless porridge, he found it to be sweet.
"Why...why don't you hate me? After all, Song Anran is my own sister."
The fact that their relationship could remain the same was something Song Hanzheng never dared to dream of.
“She is her, and you are you. You haven’t done anything to wrong me. Jiang Zhan’s hands and eyes were ruined by your sister, and you just happened to save him. In fact, you have been atoning for your sister’s sins, but you don’t owe anyone anything.”
Song Hanzheng was impressed by Lu Zhiwei's values, and a smile appeared on his thin lips.
"Now I finally understand why so many outstanding men fall for you."
What man wouldn't be attracted to such a charming woman?
"Being liked by men is not something to be proud of, and it is not a standard for judging whether a woman is outstanding or not," Lu Zhiwei corrected.
"You're right."
Song Hanzheng apologized repeatedly, admitting that he had been shallow.
Just then, Song Hanzheng's phone, which was on the bedside table, rang.
It was a call from a friend, the manager of a well-known luxury goods store.
"Han Zheng." The other person spoke hurriedly as soon as the call connected.
"What's wrong?"
"There was a woman who told you that you had made a watch for your sister. This watch was a gift from you to your sister, and I remember it cost you tens of millions of dollars."
I was making a store visit in Yunzhou when I saw my employee negotiating with this woman. The watch looked familiar, and when I brought it over for an appraisal, I took a closer look. It had the letters "song" customized by you on the bottom of the dial.
Where is this woman?
"It's at the Yunzhou Shopping Mall flagship store."
"Keep her calm for now, I'll be there shortly."
Song Hanzheng hung up the phone and, before he could call the nurse, pulled the needle out of the back of his hand.
He hurriedly got out of bed, took off his hospital gown, and changed into his own clothes.
Seeing his hurried demeanor, Lu Zhiwei asked curiously, "What happened?"
Song Hanzheng froze in his tracks when facing Lu Zhiwei.
He was considering whether or not to tell Lu Zhiwei about this, that his sister might have appeared.
But once you tell them, the result is predictable.
My heart felt like it was trapped in a quagmire, struggling and hesitating.
After a moment, he finally spoke up and asked Lu Zhiwei, "Do you want to come with me?"
Where to?
“My sister might have appeared,” Song Hanzheng said, biting his lip.
Lu Zhiwei stared wide-eyed in surprise.
He could have gone alone without telling her, or helped his sister escape.
Unfortunately, he didn't.
After hearing Song Hanzheng's general account of the situation, Lu Zhiwei didn't plan to alert Captain Liu, because she wasn't sure if the woman trading watches in the mall was Song Anran, and she was afraid of wasting her time.
Let's wait until we have a clearer picture before making any decisions.
The two walked discreetly into the mall and headed straight for the luxury watch section on the first floor.
The woman sitting in the waiting area was wearing a mask and had short, neat hair.
Her eyebrows and eyes are very similar to Song Anran's.
Song Hanzheng's palms were sweating as he held his breath and walked toward the woman.
He hoped the woman was his sister, Song Anran, yet he also hoped she wasn't.
In that case, my sister might be able to live a little longer.
He knew that thinking like that was too selfish.
