"Lu Zhiwei, it's all your fault. You deceived me by making your son look like Ruixi. Otherwise, why would my son be angry with me?"
Su Ziheng failed to appease his son, and instead vented all his resentment on Lu Zhiwei.
With Luo Xiu present, how could he tolerate anyone verbally abusing Lu Zhiwei in front of him?
He moved his fingers.
His men stepped forward, covered Su Ziheng's mouth, and forcibly dragged him into the woods behind them.
Not long after, Su Ziheng's screams echoed from the woods.
Lu Zhiwei has keen hearing and recognized the sound of a slap.
The sound of the slap startled the birds in the forest.
A little while later, Luo Xiu's subordinate came out carrying a suit.
Judging from the color of the suit, it looks like it was taken from Su Ziheng.
No one can guess or fathom Luo Xiu's methods of torturing people.
Su Ziheng was really unlucky this time; he ran into a brick wall.
Police arrived at the base shortly afterward.
The entire medical base was sealed off, and Song Lao and Song Zhilin were also taken away.
The kidnapping case, though fraught with danger, has come to a close, albeit with some minor incidents.
The group prepared to return home.
Luo Xiu's gaze remained fixed on the silent Shen Jinmo.
"What are you doing here? Mr. Shen, are you such a busybody?"
Shen Jinmo straightened his clothes, his expression cold and aloof, exuding an aura that kept people at a distance.
"Isn't President Luo meddling in other people's business by asking this?"
The two people's sharp gazes met in the air, seemingly sparking a flame.
Taking advantage of the break, Lu Zhiwei quietly led Lu Anyu and Ruixi into her car.
On the way back.
Mizuki remained silent.
Lu Zhiwei was driving.
Lu Anyu sat next to Ruixi, giving him water to drink and hugging him every now and then.
"Little brother Ruixi, are you still scared?"
Ruixi remained silent, her dark eyes fixed on Lu Zhiwei's direction, and softly called out to her, "Aunt Lu."
"Mizuki, what's wrong?"
In order to hear Ruixi's words clearly, Lu Zhiwei stopped the car and turned her head to listen to him.
"No matter what I do, is it possible that Uncle Luo will never like me?"
Lu Zhiwei's eyes narrowed slightly; she couldn't possibly lie to a child who was just over four years old.
"Yes. That's just the kind of person he is. If he doesn't like something from the beginning, he'll never like it; if he likes something from the beginning, he'll never like it."
Take her for example.
She once thought that seven years would be enough for Luo Xiu's love for her to fade.
But to my surprise, there was none at all.
"Oh, I see. Aunt Lu, you don't like Uncle Luo, right?"
Mizuki then asked another question.
Lu Zhiwei nodded: "Yeah, I don't like it."
"Okay, Mizuki understands."
Since then, Mizuki has never spoken again.
Lu Zhiwei took the two little ones back to the Lu family villa.
After the maid bathed and put the two little ones to sleep, she took her pajamas and prepared to take a shower.
Luo Xiu kept calling.
She didn't answer.
I went to the window and pulled back the curtains to take a look.
A car was parked downstairs, and Luo Xiu stood downstairs with a cigarette in his hand.
Like a lingering ghost.
Jiang Zhan had already personally taken a broom and gone out the door, rushing to Luo Xiu and launching an attack on him.
Unfortunately, the broom failed to catch Luo Xiu and was instead broken on the spot.
Jiang Zhan was also restrained and pressed against the car: "You brat, I've put up with you for a long time. Don't think that just because you're Zhizhi's younger brother, I can tolerate you forever. If you don't want these hands, I'll take them off for you."
"Go ahead and unload it. If you're so capable, unload it now. I may not be able to beat you now, but that doesn't mean I won't be able to beat you in the future." Jiang Zhan was humiliated as he was pressed against the car door.
He just couldn't swallow this insult; his sister was being harassed by this shameless jerk.
Lu Zhiwei was afraid that Luo Xiu would really dislocate Jiang Zhan's hands.
I hurried downstairs, phone in hand.
"Sister, you should leave quickly... don't pay attention to him." Jiang Zhan saw Lu Zhiwei coming downstairs and hurriedly stopped her.
Lu Zhiwei walked straight over, pulled Jiang Zhan back to her side from Luo Xiu's grasp, and rubbed his arm: "Are you alright? Does it hurt?"
"Sis, it doesn't hurt. Why did you get down here? This guy has no regard for the law. This is Yunzhou, not the US. I'd rather he hurt me so I can send him to jail for a few more days."

Lu Zhiwei sent Jiang Zhan away first.
Jiang Zhan always listened to Lu Zhiwei.
Despite her worries, she obediently went inside first.
Upon entering the Lu family home, Jiang Zhan rushed into the kitchen without saying a word, grabbed a handy cleaver, and stood behind the gate, ready at any moment.
If this man tries anything to harm my sister, he'll kill him immediately.
Upon seeing Lu Zhiwei, Luo Xiu immediately transformed into a docile puppy.
"My chest still hurts. The doctor told me to go back to the hospital and I need someone to stay with me. Can you be it?"
Luo Xiu's voice immediately became more stern, completely different from how he had subdued Jiang Zhan earlier.
"Aren't you afraid I'll stab you in the heart again?"
“I only gave you one chance to kill me, but you used it.”
Luo Xiu's thin lips held a casual smile.
Lu Zhiwei hadn't slept all night and was exhausted; she had no mood to deal with him.
"Luo Xiu, if you really want me to get along with you, please learn how to care for Rui Xi first. When you abandoned him without hesitation today, didn't you feel even a little bit of reluctance?"
"No, I only remember that he is Song Anran's bastard child, your enemy. I will not have feelings for my enemy."
