In the hospital ward.
Lu Anyu woke up early in the morning. Sunlight streamed through the window and fell on him, casting a shadow on the little guy's curled eyelashes.
He sat quietly on the edge of the bed, holding a paintbrush and a pencil in his hand.
The little hand quickly sketched a drawing on the paper.
The nurse pushed the medicine over to give him the injection.
"Little Lu Anyu, it's time for your shot."

The little guy is very persistent, and he has a face that makes it impossible for anyone to hurt him.
The nurse took a piece of candy out of her pocket and handed it to Lu Anyu: "I'll give you a piece of candy every day from now on, until you finish all my candy."
Lu Anyu reached out and took the candy, unwrapped it, and put it in his mouth, chewing it vigorously, hoping to quickly absorb the sugar into his mouth and suppress the bitter taste.
Lu Zhiwei stood outside the ward door, leaning against the wall, quietly wiping away her tears.
After the nurse left the ward.
Lu Zhiwei then pushed open the door and went inside.
Upon seeing his mother return, the little guy immediately swallowed the unchewed candy, trying to erase the evidence of his candy-eating.
"Did you eat candy?"
Lu Zhiwei reached out and picked up the candy wrapper that he had dropped on the bed.
Lu Anyu hurriedly wiped his mouth: "Mommy, I'm sorry, I won't eat it anymore."
"I didn't let you eat it before because I was afraid you'd get aphids, but now you can eat it if you want." Lu Zhiwei magically produced a glass jar from behind her, filled with his favorite fruit candies.
Lu Anyu happily hugged the jar and kissed Lu Zhiwei: "Mommy, I love you."
"Why are you painting instead of resting properly?" Lu Zhiwei noticed the easel he had placed on his bedside table.
Lu Anyu seemed afraid that she would discover the drawing papers clipped to the drawing board, so he quickly turned around, snatched them, and hid them under the covers.
"Mommy, I'm just drawing randomly. When can I be discharged from the hospital? I want to go back to kindergarten. I don't want to stay here."
Lu Anyu was afraid that Lu Zhiwei would insist on looking at his drawing board, so he immediately changed the subject.
“An’an is sick and needs to stay in the hospital for treatment. I will help you apply for a leave of absence from kindergarten.”
"No, I have to go to school."
"You little rascal, I've never seen you so ambitious and eager to learn before." Lu Zhiwei rubbed Lu Anyu's head.
"Mommy, please say yes to An'an, please."

After feeding the little guy a bowl of millet porridge and finishing his morning IV drip, Lu Zhiwei let him sleep a little longer.
She stayed by the bedside the whole time, never leaving her side.
During this time, Luo Wuyan brought Shen Jiarui to visit once.
Luo Wuyan hugged Lu Anyu by the bedside and cried. After crying, she hugged Lu Zhiwei and cried, saying that she was sorry to Lu Zhiwei and that she had hurt An'an.
