Entering the room, I saw the little one sleeping soundly on the bed, a tiny bundle wrapped in the blanket.
The hand outside the vagina is receiving an IV drip.
In an instant, Lu Zhiwei's delicate face completely lost all color.
She rushed to the bedside and grasped her son's other hand: "He's only been in the Shen family for a short time, why is this happening?"
The old butler knew the truth would eventually come out, so he answered Lu Zhiwei according to the words Jiang Jingyu had instructed him to say: "Yes... Young Master An'an fell ill on his own. The family doctor diagnosed him and prescribed some medicine."
Lu Zhiwei's cold gaze swept over the butler: "Are you sure?"

There must be more to An'an's coma than meets the eye.
Feeling his mother's warmth, Lu Anyu suddenly opened his eyes and weakly called out to Lu Zhiwei, "Mommy."
Seeing Lu Anyu wake up, Lu Zhiwei's red eyes welled up with tears, and she excitedly hugged Lu Anyu: "An'an, Mommy's here, tell Mommy what happened?"
The old butler stood behind Shen Jiarui, nervously clenching his fingers, wanting to warn Lu Anyu not to speak carelessly.
Unfortunately, he had no chance.
The straightforward little boy, Lu Anyu, immediately told Lu Zhiwei, "Mommy, Grandma Jiang and I went to play by the lake, and we accidentally fell into the artificial lake."
"Are you sure it was an accident?" Lu Zhiwei questioned Lu Anyu seriously.
She had always warned Lu Anyu not to go near dangerous waters and to be careful to avoid drowning.
Lu Anyu has always been easygoing and obedient to her since childhood, avoiding any watery areas as much as possible.
"Lu Zhiwei, what do you mean? Are you implying that I pushed An'an?" Upon learning that Lu Zhiwei had barged into the villa, Jiang Jingyu immediately rushed to An'an's room.
As soon as he entered, he heard Lu Zhiwei asking Lu Anyu a sarcastic question.
This infuriated Jiang Jingyu.
"That's not impossible." Lu Zhiwei was completely uneasy about Jiang Jingyu's character.
“If it were before, I might have done this, but I already know that An’an is my Mo’er’s biological son. Why would I, as his grandmother, kill my own grandson?”
Jiang Jingyu blushed as she defended herself.
She used to be the one who suspected Lu Zhiwei, but now it's Lu Zhiwei's turn to suspect her, and this feeling is not pleasant.
"Regardless of whether An'an fell down on his own, you have not been responsible for his safety. This will be used as evidence in court to show that the Shen family is not capable of exercising guardianship."
Lu Zhiwei took the IV drip from the shelf and handed it to Shen Jiarui. Then she picked up Lu Anyu from the bed, wrapped him in her coat, and walked out.
Jiang Jingyu belatedly realized what was happening.
"So, it turns out you two conspired to scheme against me. An'an came to my door on her own, insisting on dragging me to the artificial lake. I'm afraid you two were in cahoots and deliberately staged this whole thing."
Lu Zhiwei was actually well aware of the situation.
This was probably planned by An An herself.
But Jiang Jingyu was wrong.
She had no idea about An'an's plan.
Lu Zhiwei ignored Jiang Jingyu and walked out of the room with her son in her arms.
Jiang Jingyu followed them, grumbling and cursing all the way.
Lu Anyu, who was perched on Lu Zhiwei's shoulder, made a face at Jiang Jingyu.
Jiang Jingyu's face turned pale and then purple with anger.
"You little rascal, you're not that old, but you're quite cunning."
Lu Anyu shook his cute little head and stuck out his tongue slightly.
"Old woman, you'd better not try to take me from my mommy. If you do, you'll be in big trouble. I'm not a good girl at all."
Lu Anyu also left Jiang Jingyu a piece of advice.
Jiang Jingyu's well-maintained face completely collapsed.
On the way back to the Lu family villa, Lu Zhiwei sat in the back seat with Lu Anyu, while Shen Jiarui held an IV drip bottle in the passenger seat, and Jiang Zhan drove.
The atmosphere inside the car was exceptionally quiet.
Lu Anyu seemed to realize that Lu Zhiwei was angry with him, and reached out to tug at her sleeve: "Mommy, please don't be angry."
"Lu Anyu, do you know how serious this matter is?"
Lu Zhiwei shook off Lu Anyu's small hand, her beautiful face flushed with anger, her heart pounding violently with rage.
"Mommy, I was wrong." Lu Anyu hung his head, his voice trembling with tears.
"Sister, scold me if you want. I'm the one who sent An'an to the Shen family. It's my fault." Jiang Zhan felt sorry for his nephew and took all the blame upon himself.
"You'll get your share of the scolding too," Lu Zhiwei said coldly, glancing at Jiang Zhan.
His cold, sharp gaze locked onto Lu Anyu once again.
The little guy was genuinely afraid of Lu Zhiwei, his little mouth clenched tightly.
“I’ve said it before, you should never joke with your life. The lake water is so cold, if you jump in and something happens to you, how will Mommy live?”
“Mommy, you enrolled me in swimming lessons when I was three years old. I can even swim underwater, so I won’t drown.” Lu Anyu raised his head, trying to defend himself.
It would have been better if she hadn't said anything, because once she did, Lu Zhiwei's anger intensified.
"Can you be the same as before? Can you be the same?" Lu Zhiwei roared hysterically.
Lu Anyu was so frightened that he trembled.
Shen Jiarui, sitting in the passenger seat, bit his lip and was also stunned.
Even they couldn't withstand Lu Zhiwei's thunderous rage, let alone a five-year-old child.
