Lu Zhiwei scoffed and put the stone slab at the exit back on.

A beam of light shone directly in my face.
The feeling of breathing fresh air is just different.
Lu Zhiwei looked around and assumed that the construction team members Lin Haotian had mentioned were still there. She decided to avoid them to prevent the news that she was still alive from leaking out.
After she came out and walked around, she found no one else at the scene. The cordoned-off accident scene was eerily quiet.
As she walked along the muddy road, Lu Zhiwei's legs felt weak.
After surviving on fruits and vegetables for several days in a row, her blood sugar had become severely low.
