After Gu Mingxia left, the two brothers each took one of Huo Jialingling's arms and whispered sweet nothings. Huo Jialingling, who originally wanted to yell at them, couldn't bring herself to shout at them when she saw their two handsome, identical faces. She simply reached out and touched the brothers' faces.
"Your father has passed away, and the Huo family in Xiangcheng is no longer what it used to be. You all need to behave yourselves from now on and know who you can mess with and who you can't!"
Huo Jialing leaned against Huo Chenghu, her expression somewhat sorrowful. She held Huo Chenglong's hand and sighed softly.

"Okay, thank you for your hard work, Mom."
Huo Jialing nodded, and the three of them talked for a while until 11:30. The two brothers reluctantly said goodbye to their mother and were taken to the detention center.
Gu Mingxia not only obtained the recording but also learned the truth about the incident where she caught her husband cheating, making her feel exceptionally relieved. The first thing she saw when she left the hotel was Xiao Yan, hands in his pockets, leaning against the car.

Without a second thought, Gu Mingxia rejected Xiao Yan's suggestion. Unexpectedly, Xiao Yan put down his iPad, sat down next to Gu Mingxia, and leaned in to trap her between his arms.
"Why aren't you going? Are you scared?"
Xiao Yan's breath hit her face, making Gu Mingxia feel uncomfortable. She stared wide-eyed at Xiao Yan's ambiguous smile.
"What's there to be afraid of! It's just going to work, right? You come over, I'll report for duty tomorrow!"
"Okay, I hope Xiaxia will keep her word!"
Xiao Yan flashed, and Gu Mingxia immediately felt that the air around her had become much more circulated. However, looking at the smile in his eyes, she suddenly felt that she had been tricked by Xiao Yan.
