Three minutes later, hail began to fall from the sky with a crackling sound.
Shen Yujiao looked at Mu Wanting with admiration.
"Sister-in-law, you're really perceptive."
But now the surrounding area is open, and there is nowhere to hide.
At first, everyone thought it was rain, but after it hit them and hurt, they realized it was hail, and a once-in-a-century hailstorm at that.
Everyone wailed as they were hit, and even the officials were not spared. But they still had to prevent the prisoners from escaping and from getting on the carriages.
Mu Wanting walked over and handed a raincoat to Su Yu.
Su Yu couldn't take the hits anymore, and when he turned his head, he saw Mu Wanting's smiling face.
A thought struck him, and he smiled as he accepted the raincoat and straw hat.
Because they were quite thick, you didn't feel anything when the hail hit you.
"It has to be you, this raincoat is just right."
Mu Wanting's eyes were full of smiles.
"If you find it useful, that's fine."
Hearing the commotion outside, Shen Xinglan lifted the carriage curtain and saw that the hail was falling heavily.
Then, amidst the chaos, he saw Mu Wanting hand a raincoat to Su Yu. Her smile was so sincere, so dazzling.
He felt a tightness in his chest, wanting to say something but not knowing how.
Amidst this massive hailstorm, only the third son and Su Yu were able to move freely.
Ma Dazhuang was very envious after seeing Su Yu.
"You really know how to handle relationships, kid. You've got Mu Wanting all under your thumb."
Su Yu smiled.
"It's because she's kind."
Ma Dazhuang coughed lightly: "This raincoat is quite nice."
Su Yu nodded: "Indeed."
"Go get me one."
Su Yu looked at Ma Dazhuang in surprise.
"Boss, what are you talking about? This isn't a cabbage. Look at how long it takes the Mu family to make this."
Ma Dazhuang was furious and wanted to hit Su Yu.
"You don't need to show off in different ways anymore."
Su Yu was quick-witted and immediately ran off to the side.
"Boss, you can't treat people like this. You can't treat me like this just because I have a raincoat and you don't."
Shen Mingjiao had already taken Qin'er to the carriage to hide. Mu Wanting brought them some fruit, but Shen Xinglan called her back.
"Mu Wanting, a raincoat and a straw hat, but not mine?"
Mu Wanting was puzzled and said, "You don't need it. You're so comfortable in the carriage."
Shen Xinglan said, "I want one too."
This was the first time Shen Xinglan had so clearly stated what she wanted.
After thinking for a moment, Mu Wanting took out a raincoat and straw hat from the package, but actually from her spatial storage, and gave them to him.

Then they arranged for someone to seal the cart lid tightly.
Shen Mingjiao looked at Shen Xinglan with a puzzled expression.
"Second brother, what do you need this for? It's not soft at all."
Shen Xinglan's tone turned cold.
"It's none of your business."
Shen Mingjiao shrugged; it really had nothing to do with her.
Then she saw Su Yu walking past them in a straw raincoat, and a smile appeared in her eyes.
"Second brother, are you jealous?"
Shen Xinglan snorted coldly: "How could that be? Your sister-in-law likes me so much, why would I be jealous?"
Su Yu found these words extremely offensive, so he stopped outside the carriage and pulled up his raincoat.
"Hey, mine seems thicker than yours. It's true that the quality of something given to you voluntarily is different from something given to you only after you ask for it."
Shen Xinglan clenched her fists: "I don't need it, so it doesn't matter if it's thinner."
Su Yu laughed and said, "It's really not necessary. After all, you can't even walk. It's only because Mu Wanting is kind-hearted and can't bear to leave you. If it were anyone else, they would have left long ago."

"She likes me."

He genuinely felt that Shen Xinglan was unworthy of Mu Wanting's deep affection.
Su Yu turned to leave, only to see Mu Wanting standing behind him.
"Did you hear what I said?"

Mu Wanting smiled and said, "That's right."
"Officer Ma is looking for you over there. He asked me to call you."
Su Yu recalled how, back in the capital, Mu Wanting was completely devoted to Shen Xinglan and couldn't tolerate anyone saying a bad word about her.
I thought Mu Wanting would speak up for Shen Xinglan this time too.
Who knows?
He curled his lips into a mocking smile and glanced at Shen Xinglan.
Shen Xinglan felt a little sad. He had thought that Mu Wanting would protect him as she always had.
It's not that he can only be protected by Mu Wanting.
However, Mu Wanting's attitude at this moment doesn't seem to indicate that she still likes him.
His heart suddenly ached for no reason.
Mu Wanting looked at him with a smile.
