Shen Xinglan's face darkened even more. He limped over to Mu Wanting and took her hand.
"Let's go to sleep."
Mu Wanting entered the tent and stayed there until the tent was closed, only to find Su Yu still standing there.
When she turned around, he smiled at her, revealing a set of white teeth, and waved.
When she entered the tent, Shen Xinglan had already boiled water for her.
"Go to bed early, we have to travel tomorrow."
To be honest, she was still a little surprised that Shen Xinglan, a man who used to be high and mighty, would boil water for her.
After all, he doesn't seem like that kind of person.
As they went to bed that night, Shen Yujiao teased them with a smile.
"Sister-in-law, my second brother is so good to you. He stood at the tent door waiting for you ever since you and Ma Dazhuang went out."
Mu Wanting raised an eyebrow. She preferred to believe that Shen Xinglan wanted to go out for some fresh air, since the tent made of tarpaulin was indeed not very breathable.
Inside the tent of the three Shen brothers, Shen Xinghe spoke.
"Brother, I think this official named Su Yu is a very nice person."
Shen Xinglan asked in a deep voice, "How do you know?"
"Look, no matter what we do, he's always on our side. Didn't Second Aunt get beaten up badly by Su Yu before?"
Shen Xingyi listened silently without saying a word.
Then, as if he had just thought of something, Shen Xinghe seemed to realize something.
"Oh right, didn't Zhang Caiyun push you into the water earlier? After your sister-in-law jumped in to save you, Su Yu also jumped into the water to look for you."
As soon as he said this, Shen Xingyi quickly spoke up.

Shen Xinghe muttered softly, "Su Yu was really anxious back then. He searched for you in the water for an hour before finally slinking ashore."
