The people were unhappy. Mu Wanting was now the one who could save their lives, and they couldn't let their benefactor be framed.
"We've never seen your father before. Did something go wrong after he took Dr. Liu's medicine?"
The burly man's face turned red with anger, and he began hurling insults at the commoner.

Mu Wanting and Shen Xinglan exchanged a glance, both understanding the situation.

The burly man's face turned pale and then flushed. Had the woman figured him out?
But soon, he calmed down and started cursing.

Mu Wanting's expression remained indifferent.
"Why should whatever you say be the law?"
The people's faces were also grim.
