Chapter 254: Care Warming Up
Jiang Lin followed An Feng to where the two bodies were lying.
Seeing that the bloodstains on their clothes were much less than Anliu's, Jiang Lin frowned and turned them over with his feet. There really weren't many wounds.
"He died because his neck was broken by the undercurrent." An Feng saw something from Jiang Lin's frown and said to Jiang Lin.
Jiang Lin paused for a moment, then retracted his foot as if nothing had happened, "Capture the man, don't scare the people."
"Yes." An Feng responded and raised his chin to the person who had been guarding him.
The two people on the ground were dragged away. Fortunately, no bloodstains were left on the ground, so they just had to clean up the place.
However, Jiang Lin took a closer look and found something that looked like a letter, but because it happened to fall into a pool of blood, it would be easily overlooked if not looked at carefully.
Jiang Lin suppressed his disgust and walked forward, picking up the letter that was folded into three fingers wide with one hand. Only a small corner was uncontaminated.
"This is too blurry." Qin Xiangnuan unfolded the letter with tweezers and spread her hands helplessly.
"I can't make it out." Jiang Lin took a magnifying glass and looked at it from various angles, but still couldn't make out what was written.
The only visible content on the entire piece of paper was useless information such as "Jiang, Qin family, border", etc.
"Forget it." Jiang Lin put down the magnifying glass and told Qin Xiangnuan to stop moving.
Qin Xiangnuan raised her eyebrows and followed his advice.
"Everyone is gone. We can only wait for Anliu to wake up and ask him if he knows anything." Qin Xiangnuan said.
Jiang Lin nodded, worry visible in his brows, and asked Qin Xiangnuan: "Why hasn't Anliu woken up after so long?"
Qin Xiangnuan disposed of the garbage on the table and said to Jiang Lin, "Maybe he was too tired recently. He finally fainted, so he naturally needs to recover his energy."
Jiang Lin nodded in understanding.
Anliu slept for a long time. It must have been many years since he slept for such a long time. When he woke up, his mind was still not fully responsive.
"Hmm?" Anliu wanted to raise his hand to rub his face, but he saw a hand that did not belong to him being raised in front of him.
This is a bit scary for someone who is still confused.
Anliu shook off the hand without thinking, and then heard a familiar voice.
"Ying Niang?" Anliu's eyes widened unconsciously. Ying Niang's appearance in his room was more terrifying than the sudden appearance of that hand.
Anliu was about to get up, but he heard a more familiar scream of pain, which came from himself.
"Be careful!" Ying Niang didn't care about her seemingly disabled arm, and without saying a word, she supported Anliu who was falling backwards.
Now, Anliu was half lying in Ying Niang's arms.
"Anliu, you..." Anfengren and the voice appeared in the house together, and then stopped together.
During this period of neither retreat nor advance, Anliu finally came to his senses. He suppressed the pain in his upper body and said to Anfeng in a panic, "Why are you here too?"
"Me, her." The undercurrent suddenly stopped, and yesterday's memories rushed into my mind in an instant. "I'm hurt?"
Anliu spoke slowly, his eyes moving between Anfeng in the distance and Yingniang nearby, and finally he looked into Yingniang's eyes.
"Yes, you don't remember anything?" The worry in Ying Niang's eyes fell clearly and unobstructed into Anliu's eyes.
At that moment, an electric current suddenly emerged from somewhere, making him feel very comfortable.
"I haven't forgotten." Anliu answered honestly, "I just didn't react just now."
"That's good." Ying Niang breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, the man was not stupid.
Only then did Ying Niang turn her head to look at An Feng, the uninvited guest.
An Feng received the two people's puzzled looks, then pursed his lips and said slowly: "The third lady asked me to come and take a look. If you wake up, I will let you drink the medicine."
Anliu nodded and said casually: "Okay, I'll go downstairs to drink."
Ying Niang stood up and held him down with both hands. After seeing Anliu lying flat on his back, she said to him, "I'll go get it. Don't move, or the wound will bleed."
Anliu sensed the discomfort at this moment and responded in a low voice.
An Feng at the door made way for Ying Niang in time and said that the medicine was not ready yet.
Ying Niang nodded to indicate that she understood.
After the others disappeared, Anliu immediately stood up. Anfeng then slowly walked towards him and said, "Judging from your face, you should be alright, right?"
Anliu shook his head, "But it's just a minor injury, it won't have any impact."
"Miss Third is busy with something right now, so she asked me to take a look at your wound." Before An Feng finished speaking, his hand had already reached out to An Liu's clothes.
"Hiss." Anliu pushed his hand away with a palm, "Be gentle."
An Feng seemed to pull the corner of his mouth, "Isn't it just a minor injury? When did you become so pretentious?"
"I am injured after all, this is normal." Anliu said as he untied his clothes. He looked down and saw circles of bandages wrapped around his body, but he could see where the wound was at a glance.
Because of the bleeding in those places, Anliu frowned, "They got away with it, I should give them some damage in return."
"The master has asked us to deal with it." An Feng did as Qin Xiangnuan instructed him, compared it, and thought that this should be normal bleeding. It looked like it had dried up, so there was no need to worry about it.
Anliu didn't wait for Anfeng to make a move. Thinking that nothing was wrong, he put his clothes back on. Then he looked up and asked him, "Did the master say when we would set out today?"
"It's afternoon now." An Feng returned.
At this time, Jiang Lin was standing in the corner of the room, inconspicuous.
What caught people's attention was Qi in the center.
"What else do you have to say now?" Old Madam Qin sat by the bed, staring at Qi with a serious face. "You've caught me red-handed. Can you explain it clearly?"
Qi cried out loudly, "You framed me!"
As she spoke, Qi turned her head and looked at everyone, her eyes fixed on Qin Xiangnuan, "It's you! You must have hired someone to slander me!"
"Oh?" Qin Xiangnuan asked Qi nonchalantly, "We saw evidence that you poisoned her. Do you have any evidence that I framed you?"
Qi swung his hand hard, but it only hit the air and had no effect on Qin Xiangnuan.
"You sign this divorce letter today. Considering our years of friendship, I won't send you to the authorities." Qin Yi stood beside Qi at this time and handed the paper in her direction.
"I won't sign!" Qi grabbed the paper and tore it up in an instant. "You guys have already planned this. Look, the divorce agreement is already written."
Qin Yi just frowned when the paper scraps hit his face, reached out to brush off the debris that did not fall off naturally, and calmly took out another stack of paper from his arms.
Qi's eyes widened. Without waiting for Qin Yi to unfold it, she could confirm that it was another divorce letter.
Qin Xiangnuan obviously did not expect Qin Yi's action, and looked at them with raised eyebrows.
Signing the divorce agreement was not part of Qin Xiangnuan's plan. She just wanted Qi to admit her guilt.
