Chapter 348: Identified the Wrong Person
"We'll wait here."
Qin Xiangnuan didn't see where Jiang Lin stopped, nor did she want to find out. She only felt the warmth coming from her ears and heard what Jiang Lin said.
Qin Xiangnuan nodded, and when she turned around, her body collided with Jiang Lin's, and a hint of heat came out from the place where they were touching.
"It's not the first time, why are you so nervous?" Qin Xiangnuan sneered at herself in her heart, "Why am I so sensitive to their intimate behavior?"
"Nuannuan, people are coming." While Qin Xiangnuan was still cursing herself for being useless, the figures of several people appeared in Jiang Lin's eyes.
"Oh no, I actually lost him!"
The foreign language was clearly heard by the people hiding in the dark. Jiang Lin's hand tightened. Qin Xiangnuan looked up from where they were holding hands and noticed the regret on Jiang Lin's face.
Jiang Lin was annoyed that the foreigners actually discovered this place before them, and he didn't know what they had done to it.
What is even more unknown is that if Jiang Lin and the others had not come here, would they have suffered catastrophic harm in the future due to this negligence.
Nothing is known, but what is known is that these unexpected dangers will not happen.
"Forget it, isn't their carriage still parked there?" Since they couldn't find any trace of the two of them, they could just sit back and wait.
"Go back and take a look."
"Perhaps we'll find something important in their carriage."
After they said a few words, they disappeared from Jiang Lin's sight.
"Let's wait here until they get on the carriage and then follow them." Jiang Lin leaned close to Qin Xiangnuan's ear again.
Qin Xiangnuan didn't know whether Jiang Lin saw it or not, but she felt the heat coming from her ears deeply. If she took a look at them, they would definitely be red.
"Okay." Qin Xiangnuan calmly shrank her neck and kept a little distance from Jiang Lin.
Jiang Lin's eyes were fixed on the front, but when Qin Xiangnuan's hand was tightly grasped, he could feel it clearly and his face turned red.
"They seem to have gone far away." Jiang Lin said calmly.
Qin Xiangnuan nodded, "Then let's go."
No one suggested letting go of each other's hands. Although they knew it would be more convenient for them to move apart, it was obvious that they were enjoying their current situation more.
Jiang Lin and Qin Xiangnuan stopped a few steps away from the carriage.
There are two people guarding outside, one in front and one behind. If they don't want to alert the people in the carriage, Qin Xiangnuan and Jiang Lin must deal with one person at the same time.
The two looked at each other, and in tacit understanding, they reluctantly and uncomfortably let go of the tightly clasped hands that they had been ignoring.
The moment they separated, they looked away from each other, then turned back, nodded, and headed towards their goals.
The incident happened in just a moment. The slight sound outside the carriage did not reach the ears of the people in the carriage, but the person who was standing just now fell down limply.
"I'll go upstairs, you stay outside." Jiang Lin said to Qin Xiangnuan.
Qin Xiangnuan stopped abruptly as she was about to step onto the carriage and nodded in Jiang Lin's dark eyes.
"Be careful." Qin Xiangnuan said.
Jiang Lin curled his lips and nodded.
"There's nothing here?" The person who was looking for something inside was complaining.
The other two were also searching, but they also came up empty-handed.
At this moment, the carriages were suddenly pulled apart by Jiang Lin, and before they could react, Jiang Lin quickly took care of another person.
In the narrow space, Jiang Lin was attacked by two people, and his punches and kicks were still somewhat limited.
“Go to hell!”
When Jiang Lin was suppressing another person, the person who had just been knocked off his seat, holding a short knife, stabbed Jiang Lin in the back.
There was the sound of a sword entering the flesh. Qin Xiangnuan, who was outside, was startled when she heard that sentence. For a moment, she seemed to have heard this sound.
I saw it when I jumped up.
"Jiang Lin!"
Qin Xiangnuan's eyes turned red. The short knife that was inserted into someone's back was particularly glaring.
When the man with the knife heard Qin Xiangnuan's voice, it was too late to turn around. He was hit head-on by Qin Xiangnuan and fell down dizzy.
Qin Xiangnuan did not continue to entangle with him, and nervously held down the dagger.
"Nuannuan, I'm fine." Jiang Lin's somewhat tired voice sounded.
Qin Xiangnuan said sternly, "Shut up!"
Then he looked at the place that was already dyed bright red.
"Nuannuan." Jiang Lin's voice was hesitant, but being suppressed by someone always felt uncomfortable.
Then, Qin Xiangnuan saw the back with the knife stuck in it slowly lifted up.
Qin Xiangnuan pushed the man down with force and said, "Don't move. I'll help you stop the bleeding first."
The movement really stopped, and Qin Xiangnuan slowly exhaled, but halfway through, the man's movements became even bigger.
"You..." Qin Xiangnuan stopped talking when she saw Jiang Lin's face.
"It's not you?" Qin Xiangnuan was a little stunned.
Jiang Lin pushed the person lying on top of him away with all his strength, a helpless smile on his face. "Yeah, I'm fine."
When Jiang Lin heard the blood, he realized that Qin Xiangnuan had recognized the wrong person. He struggled to sit up and glanced at the person beside him. Except for the color of his clothes, he could tell the difference.
Jiang Lin could no longer find any similarities.
But Jiang Lin felt happy in his heart, because it was only because Qin Xiangnuan cared too much and was too anxious that she didn't realize that the injured person was not him.
"Nuannuan, I'm fine." Jiang Lin stared at Qin Xiangnuan and repeated what he had just said.
Qin Xiangnuan was a little at a loss as her hands were stained with blood, and responded dryly.
"Don't move." Jiang Lin was quick to fix Qin Xiangnuan's hand in the air.
Jiang Lin took out a handkerchief from somewhere and began to wipe Qin Xiangnuan carefully.
When the bloodstains were almost cleaned up, Qin Xiangnuan regained her composure. She moved her hands and said to Jiang Lin, "Let me do it. A handkerchief won't be enough to clean it."
Jiang Lin raised his eyes, nodded, and let go of Qin Xiangnuan.
Four people in the carriage wouldn't be crowded, but if two people were lying sideways, that would be a different story.
Qin Xiangnuan wanted to take out medical tools from the secret compartment, the same compartment that the three people had just searched for but couldn't find, but the opening was blocked by someone.
"Jiang Lin, throw them down first." Qin Xiangnuan kicked the person who had just admitted his mistake in annoyance.
"Okay." Jiang Lin suppressed the smile in his throat and followed Qin Xiangnuan's instructions, really throwing the person off the carriage.
When Jiang Lin returned to the carriage, Qin Xiangnuan had just found the things.
"Nuannuan, give me some ropes." Jiang Lin said.
Qin Xiangnuan took out a few ropes as thick as fingers from another place where the three people had not noticed and threw them into Jiang Lin's arms.
Jiang Lin lowered his head and took a look, as if he could see Qin Xiangnuan's anger from the ropes.
