He straightened his clothes and spoke confidently with his neck held high.
"Shopkeeper Zhang, I'm actually here to stand up for you today."
Shopkeeper Zhang didn't expect that there were still things for him to do, so he asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I heard them being picky about their meal, constantly finding fault with everything, saying your food was awful and not as good as their mother's. I got so angry I gave them a lecture on your behalf. Do you think I was wrong?"
Shopkeeper Zhang's face changed when he heard this. He glanced at Xiao Yunfei's family and then said to the waiter.
"Bring the chopsticks over here, and a few extra pairs."
The waiter brought the chopsticks quickly.
Shopkeeper Zhang tasted all the dishes on the table with chopsticks in front of all the guests.
After he was sure that there was nothing wrong with the food, he breathed a sigh of relief, stood up and said to Xiao Yunfei's family.
"Dear guests, I just tasted it and my food is fine. I wonder if you were sent by your colleagues."
The implication is that Xiao Yunfei and the others were deliberately causing trouble.
Su Miaomiao couldn't help but defend herself.
"Don't get me wrong, boss. We didn't say there was anything wrong with your food. The kids just thought it wasn't tasty and complained to their family. That's fine, right? We didn't mean to cause trouble. It was them who blew it up by scolding us for no reason. If it weren't for them, we would have finished eating, paid the bill, and left. The other people in your restaurant wouldn't even know we were dissatisfied with the food, and it certainly wouldn't have affected you in any way."
This is indeed the truth, but Manager Zhang just feels uncomfortable.
He has been running the restaurant for many years, and many of his colleagues have come to cause trouble for him, but this is the first time someone has said that his food is not tasty.
Shopkeeper Zhang said.
