Duofu quickly bowed in response.
"Go! Call Zhao Min here!"
"Yes!" Duofu replied and stepped down from the platform.
A strange light flashed in Xie Yuan's eyes—

"You are the Crown Prince's Chamberlain, my subordinate. If the Second and Fifth Princes can't bring me down, they'll bring down you subordinates!"
"You confiscated their property, they were exiled, and the whole family suffered because of you. Don't you really hate them?"
Upon hearing this, Zhao Min raised his head and gave a bitter smile. "This humble subject dares not deceive Your Highness. When I was exiled, I did indeed have some complaints."
"After more than a decade of diligent study, I have become an exile because of Your Highness's involvement. How can this disgraced subject accept this?"

Helian Jue remained noncommittal upon hearing this.
Zhao Min held his breath, his heart pounding wildly.
Just as Zhao Min was filled with anxiety, Helian Jue smiled, "Not bad! You know how to reflect on yourself! Alright, it was I who dragged you down, now I'll return the favor with wealth and honor!"
"From today onwards, you will serve as a steward by the Princess's side."
