Unsurprisingly, Xiao Qianqian missed breakfast.
At the breakfast table, Ye Bosen poured a glass of milk for his master, parents, and two children.
"Master, Mom and Dad, Yueyue, Doudou, eat up." Ye Bosen's lips curled up, looking energetic.
The little girl looked at the people at the table, then turned to look towards the kitchen. When she didn't see her mother, she was puzzled.
"Dad, where's Mom? Hasn't she gotten up yet?"
"Yes, your mother is too tired. Let her sleep more."
"Oh." The little girl nodded obediently, but she was still a little confused. Her mother usually got up early.
At this moment, Mother Night said with a smile, "Baby, let's eat first, don't disturb your mother's rest."
Everyone here is an adult, so of course they know why Xiao Qianqian can't get up. The two have been separated for more than half a month, and their passion is burning fiercely, so it's normal that she can't get up. They are actually quite happy, because maybe they'll have a grandson or granddaughter soon.
Then everyone began to enjoy breakfast.
"Master, I've already spoken to Ayan about the prison situation. When would you like to go?"
Ye Bosen took a sip of coffee, turned to look at his master, and asked.
"Today, I told the girl yesterday, but she didn't tell you?"
Thinking about what happened last night, Ye Bosen had no time to talk about this.
"Oh, I told you, I forgot." Ye Bosen smiled awkwardly.
“I’ll call Ayan later. I’ll go with you today, Master.”
The master looked at him. He knew that the girl wouldn't be able to get up for a while today. Anyone could accompany him, as long as he could see her.
"Okay, sure."
Today is a day off, so the two little ones don't have to go to kindergarten. With their parents playing with them, Ye Bosen is very relieved. After breakfast, they drank some tea and then prepared to set off.
Ye Bosen didn't let the driver drive; he drove his master there himself.
About an hour later, they arrived at Nancheng Prison. Lu Tingyan was also off today, and he was already waiting at the entrance.
Seeing Ye Bosen's car approaching, he went to greet it.
"Old Yang, elder brother, you've arrived."
"Ayan, thank you for your trouble." The master said with a smile to the young man in front of him.
"Mr. Yang, you're too kind. Let's go inside."
"good."
Master and Ye Bosen followed Lu Tingyan inside, one after the other.
"Old Yang, he's inside. You can go in. I've already had them bring him."
Okay, thank you.
"Brother, let's go next door for tea."
Lu Tingyan had arranged everything and pulled Ye Bosen into the office next door. He had already prepared tea for his elder brother.
In the reception room next door, Meng Tianze sat in a chair wearing handcuffs. He had lost a lot of weight, his hair had grown much longer, and he hadn't shaved, with stubble already appearing.
The prison guard just brought him out and said someone wanted to see him. He's been in there for so long and no one has come to see him yet. He's very confused. Who could it be that wants to see him?
He was wondering who could be coming to see him when the door to the reception room was pushed open. He turned around at the sound, and his eyes widened in surprise.
What came into view was an elderly man with white hair, dressed in simple clothes.
He stared blankly at the old man, his eyes reddening.
The master slowly approached Meng Tianze, his voice trembling slightly as he said, "Little Ze, it's been a long time."
Meng Tianze's lips trembled, and after a long while, he finally managed to utter, "Master, what brings you here?" He was genuinely surprised; he hadn't expected his master to be the one to visit him.
The master sighed softly: "Although you made a mistake, I will always consider you my disciple. The reason I expelled you from the sect before was to make you reflect on your mistakes and turn to good."
Meng Tianze knelt down with a thud, lowered his head, and cried with remorse: "Master, I have failed your teachings."
The master waved his hand: "Don't bring up the past anymore. I only hope that you can sincerely repent."
At this moment, the master took out a worn notebook from his bosom and handed it to Meng Tianze: "This is my medical notebook that you have always wanted to see. Now I am giving it to you. Study it carefully while you are here and use it to cultivate your character."
Meng Tianze took the notebook, tears falling onto it: "Master, thank you for still thinking of me. I will study it carefully."
"Yes, your master has always thought you have great talent, and I hope you won't let him down."
Meng Tianze threw himself into his master's arms and cried like a child; "Master, I'm sorry, I've let you down. I will reform myself here, and when I get out, I will take good care of you."
In the next office, Ye Bosen glanced at the situation through the glass wall and said to Lu Tingyan, "I hope he can really turn over a new leaf."
Lu Tingyan took a sip of tea: "Seeing how much effort Old Yang has put in, I'm sure he will change his mind."
The master and apprentice chatted for another ten minutes or so before Meng Tianze was taken away by the prison guards.
Before being taken away, he kowtowed three times to his master, and then was led away while looking back every few steps.
Master walked out of the reception room, where Ye Bosen and Lu Tingyan were already waiting at the door. They noticed that Master's eyes were a little red and he seemed very downcast.
Ye Bosen stepped forward and helped him up; "Let's go, Master, let's go home."
The master looked up at him and, seeing the worried expression on his face, quickly forced a smile; "Yes, I'm fine, don't worry."
"good."
"Ah Yan, thank you. You can go back to your work now."
"Alright, Mr. Yang, then I won't see you off."
"Okay, goodbye."
The two left the prison and returned to Willow Garden more than an hour later.
The two little ones ran out when they heard the car and saw that it was indeed their father and grandfather who had returned.
"Daddy, Grandpa, you're back!" Princess Yueyue smiled and rushed towards her master, who had just gotten out of the car. Her master, who had been feeling a little down, seemed to feel instantly healed when he saw Yueyue's bright smile.
The master bent down, picked up Yueyue, and whispered, "Did you miss Grandpa?"
"I miss you so much, Grandpa."
"Haha, Grandpa misses Yueyue too."
On the other side, Dou Dou ran to Ye Bosen's side, grabbed his hand and shook it: "Daddy, let's go in, Grandpa Fu has already prepared lunch."
Ye Bosen affectionately patted his son's head. "Good."
Everyone went into the house together, where the servants had already prepared the meal.
Ye Bosen glanced around; his wife wasn't there. He checked the time; it was almost midnight, and she still hadn't gotten up.
"You guys eat first, I'll go upstairs to check on your mother."
"Mom is a little lazy pig, she hasn't gotten up yet!" Little Yueyue made a shy face gesture, and everyone couldn't help but laugh when they saw her funny gesture.
"Eat up, everyone's hungry," Mother Night said with a smile.
"Old Yang, come on, this soup is delicious." Father Ye served his master a bowl of chicken soup.
