Mr. Xiao led Mrs. Xiao, and the younger brother led Shanshan into the car. Just as Xiao Qianqian was about to follow, Ye Bosen grabbed her hand.
"Uncle, Auntie, you go with the manager for a tour, I'll show Qianqian around."
"Okay, Asen, Qianqian, you accompany Asen for a walk, we'll be right back," Xiao's mother instructed.
Xiao Qianqian glanced at the man; she still wanted to spend some time with her best friend.
"Auntie, see you later, Uncle."
"Okay, you guys go have fun."
The sightseeing bus drove away, and Ye Bosen took Xiao Qianqian's hand and walked in another direction.
"It's all your fault. I wanted to have a good, intimate talk with my best friend."
"Don't be a third wheel. Didn't you see how tightly your boyfriend was holding your best friend's hand? Sweetie, don't be angry. There's a cherry orchard here. Shall I take you to pick some?"
"A cherry orchard? Great! There's an orchard here! Quick, quick, quick, let's go there right away."
"Okay, okay, don't rush."
Ye Bosen made a gesture, and a sightseeing bus drove over. He took Xiao Qianqian's hand and got on the sightseeing bus.
"I didn't expect your farm to be so well-stocked. Tell me, what else do you have?"
"This farm has so much! Besides large areas of ornamental flowers, there are also many orchards and a small ranch with dairy cows and sheep. It's perfect for outdoor barbecues. I'll take you there for a barbecue another day."
Xiao Qianqian smiled as she listened; these were all things she liked. It seemed this place was truly a treasure trove.
The two sat there chatting as if no one else was around, and before they knew it, the sightseeing bus had entered a forest.
"Mr. Night, we've arrived." The sightseeing bus stopped, and the staff got out, opened the car doors for them, and handed them two fruit baskets.
Ye Bosen took the fruit basket and carried it. "Let's go."
“Okay,” Xiao Qianqian followed.
After walking a few steps, they arrived at the cherry orchard. The trees were laden with bright red cherries, looking incredibly tempting. The cherry trees weren't very tall, and some could be reached out and picked. Xiao Qianqian excitedly ran to a cherry tree, picked a cherry, and popped it into her mouth. The sweet and sour taste instantly filled her mouth.
"Mmm, delicious, Ah Sen, you should try some too." She handed the cherries in her hand to Ye Bosen.
Ye Bosen took a bite and nodded, "It is indeed very sweet."
Then, he reached out and put his arm around Xiao Qianqian's waist, easily lifting her up so she could reach the cherries higher up.
Xiao Qianqian smiled happily, picking cherries and popping them into her mouth.
In no time, the two fruit baskets were filled with bright red, juicy cherries.
"The cherries here are so big, sweet, and juicy, they're so delicious! Does no one come to this orchard usually? And it's such a waste that these fruits are ripe but no one picks them."
“This is my private farm. Apart from the managers, no one usually comes here. As for these cherries, I originally just grew them for fun and never thought of making a profit from them,” Ye Bosen explained.
"Then you can invite some friends or family to come and pick fruit together. It would be such a waste to let such good fruit go to waste," Xiao Qianqian suggested.
Ye Bosen looked at her, a hint of barely perceptible doting in his eyes. "Alright, then I'll do as you say. From now on, you'll be in charge of all the fruit here."
Xiao Qianqian looked at him in surprise, "Really? That's great, thank you, Asen!" She happily threw herself into Ye Bosen's arms.
Ye Bosen held her in his arms, inhaling her fragrance, his heart filled with happiness. He decided that he would bring Xiao Qianqian here more often, so she could experience more beauty. Ye Bosen gently patted Xiao Qianqian's back and said tenderly, "Everything here is yours, as long as you like it."
Xiao Qianqian looked up at Ye Bosen, her face beaming with a happy smile.
"Oh, right, let me show you the other animals I keep." Ye Bosen took Xiao Qianqian's hand and walked to the other side of the farm.
Along the way, Xiao Qianqian saw many cute animals, including rabbits, alpacas, cows, goats, and so on.
"Wow, this place is practically a mini zoo!" Xiao Qianqian exclaimed in surprise.
Ye Bosen smiled and looked at her. "These plants and animals are all green and ecological. The meat, vegetables and fruits we eat at home are mostly supplied from here. There is no drug pollution, they are all ecological. The mutton, goat milk and eggs are better than those in the market outside, and they are also more nutritious. We will have them deliver to your family in the future."
"That's wonderful!" Xiao Qianqian said happily. "I think my mom and the others will be very happy, but I wonder if it will be a lot of trouble."
"No, the staff here don't have much to do. They just take care of the animals and plants."
"I'll give them your home address in a bit, and they can start delivering to your house next time."
