Chapter 170 Undersea

Liuli frowned, reluctantly withdrew her hand, stood up and called out, "Grandpa Shengyang."

“Mischievous little girl.” Sheng Yang shook his head helplessly and said, “This immortal fruit is not ripe yet. Picking it now will do you no good and will only ruin an immortal fruit for nothing.”

"Okay." Liuli lowered her head, pouting, and said reluctantly, "I understand."

Sheng Yang turned to look at Li Molin, cupped his hands and smiled, "Young Master has arrived."

"Hmm," Li Molin responded indifferently.

Sheng Yang laughed and said, "There are some young men from the clan watching over things here. Young Master, please come back to the palace with me to rest for a while. A feast has been prepared for you in the Dragon Palace. You can enjoy the delicacies from the seabed."

Liuli's eyes lit up, and she laughed, "The Dragon Palace at the bottom of the sea? And there's a banquet?"

Li Molin glanced at her bright eyes, smiled, shook his head, and replied, "Okay."

He turned to look at Yu Ke and said in a low voice, "Yu Ke, you stay here to greet the clansmen. Once they arrive, you can proceed with your plan."

Yu Ke lowered his head and replied, "Yes."

Li Molin turned to look at Sheng Yang and said calmly, "Then I'll trouble Chief Sheng Yang to lead the way."

"Please!" Sheng Yang turned around and gestured for them to move forward first.

Apart from Yu Ke, Li Molin and Liu Li, along with two other demons, followed in single file behind Sheng Yang and the two young men he brought.

After walking for more than ten steps, Li Molin suddenly spoke up, saying in a low voice, "Speaking of which, I should thank those young Taoist priests who discovered the Undying Vine."

Sheng Yang's brow twitched, and his ever-smiling face slowly darkened. He walked ahead without turning his head, and asked in a deep voice, "What do you mean by that, Young Master?"

Li Molin chuckled and said, "If that little Taoist hadn't discovered the Undying Vine, my Demon Clan probably wouldn't have known of its existence even now."

Sheng Yang stopped and turned to look directly at Li Molin, saying, "Young Master, are you blaming my Flood Dragon Clan for saying this?"

“It’s not about blaming you.” Li Molin shook his head and said with a faint smile, “I just hope that Chief Sheng Yang can always remember that my demon race and the nobles are allies, instead of only remembering the alliance with my demon race when he is in danger.”

Sheng Yang was silent for a moment, then a smile returned to his face, though a hint of seriousness could be seen in his narrowed eyes. He said with a smile, "Young Master misunderstands. I originally intended to wait until the Immortal Fruit ripened and was picked, then send half of the fruit to the Demon Realm as a tribute to the Demon Lord. It's just that this unexpected event occurred, which is why I had no choice but to ask for your help."

Li Molin lowered his head and looked down, his eyelashes concealing a hint of mockery in his eyes. He said calmly, "Is that so? Then I have misunderstood Chief Sheng Yang."

"It's good that the young master doesn't blame you." Sheng Yang turned around, his smile gone, but his voice remained gentle. He said, "The young master and the others have come a long way and must be tired. Please come back to the palace with me to rest."

"Okay." Li Molin nodded and responded indifferently.

The group of people and demons slowly walked to the eastern edge of the island. Sheng Yang waved his hand, and except for himself and two other dragon clan youths, Li Molin and Liu Li were all enveloped in a layer of water curtain. Sheng Yang smiled and said, "Young Master, please. Just jump into the sea."

Holding Ahua in one arm, Liuli gently touched the water curtain enveloping her with the other hand and said with a smile, "Grandpa Shengyang, I've heard from my grandmother that your dragon clan lives at the bottom of the sea. I've always wanted to see it for myself!"

Sheng Yang smiled gently and said, "Then you can jump down first. Today you can have a good look at it."

"Okay!" Liuli responded loudly. She leaped up and, accompanied by Ahua's scream, jumped into the sea.

Just as Liuli jumped into the sea, Ahua was horrified. She struggled a few times to jump out of Liuli's arms, but it was too late. She could only curl up and bury her head in Liuli's arms.

Because of the water curtain that completely enveloped her body, Liuli jumped into the sea without splashing a single drop of water. Once in the sea, the water curtain blocked all the seawater, carrying Liuli downwards.

After Liuli jumped down, the rest of Li Molin and the others followed suit. From afar, they could only watch as the clear seawater formed water curtains that enveloped them and the demons as they descended. Sheng Yang and the other two dragons, however, did not need the water curtains; the seawater simply parted to avoid touching them.

Liuli looked around in the light screen and saw groups of colorful fish swimming by gliding by as she descended, which was very beautiful.

After descending hundreds of feet, we finally reached the seabed. There, we saw elegant corals, lush green seaweed stretching freely in the azure water, and brightly colored seashells covering the seabed, reflecting a soft glow under the sunlight shining down from the surface.

"Ahua, look!" Liuli looked for a while, then turned her gaze to Ahua in her arms. She kept urging, "Ahua, no seawater is coming in at all. Look, it's so beautiful over there! Look, there are fish. Don't you love eating fish? Take a look, and I'll go catch one for you!"

"Meow..." Ahua responded sullenly, still refusing to stick her head out.

"Ah Hua, take a look!" Liu Li persisted, urging, "The water is all blocked off, there's no water at all... Take a look quickly, and tell me which fish you want to eat, and I'll catch it for you, okay?"

Ahua paused for a moment, then slowly raised her head. She first glanced at Liuli, then turned her gaze to the side. After a while, her tense body relaxed, and she widened her eyes to look around.

"Look, isn't it beautiful?" Liuli said with a smile.

"Meow." Ahua nodded in response.

Liuli and the others were standing in front of a large coral reef. Sheng Yang, who was at the forefront, waved his sleeve at the coral reef, and the seawater in front of him silently rippled outwards in concentric circles. Immediately afterwards, the coral reef in front of them moved silently to the left and right, making way for a path about ten feet wide.

Sheng Yang and the other two dragons walked slowly forward, with Liu Li, Li Molin, and the other two demons following closely behind, propelled by the water curtain. As they walked, the corals on both sides of the road kept moving to the side, only to return to their original positions after they left.

They walked forward for over a hundred feet, and as the coral in front of them slowly moved aside, a magnificent palace was revealed behind it.

It was a palace built of countless colorful seashells. The palace was about ten feet tall. Its shape was similar to that of palaces on earth, but not quite the same. It did not look like a building on earth at all, but rather like a palace in the sky.

They filed out of the passage through the coral, and the coral behind them moved back to its original position, completely obscuring the path.

Liuli looked up and down at the palace before her, which reflected colorful light in the azure sea, and kept praising it.
