Chapter 174 Be Careful

The moment Liuli gave the small flag to Ahua, Ahua happened to see Liang Yihan looking around blankly in the formation when a demon silently approached him and, with a wave of his hand, conjured spikes of demonic energy that stabbed at him from behind.

Seeing that Liang Yihan was completely unaware, Ahua, out of worry, subconsciously flew towards him.

At that moment, Liang Yihan had just entered the formation and was looking around blankly. He only realized the danger when the foot-long spikes formed from demonic energy were only a foot away from him. Just then, he heard a voice from the sky say, "Liang Yihan, be careful!"

Liang Yihan formed a mudra with his hands, and a ball of green energy formed a Tai Chi diagram that protected his back. The half-person-high Tai Chi diagram continued to rotate, blocking the sharp spikes one by one.

Immediately afterwards, a tabby cat fell from the sky. Liang Yihan subconsciously reached out, caught it, and held it in his arms.

Before Liang Yihan could speak, he heard a slight whooshing sound behind him. He quickly turned around and retreated hastily. He saw a demon wielding a black crescent blade emerge from the mist. The demon raised the ten-foot-long blade high and slashed down at Liang Yihan.

Liang Yihan stepped back to dodge the heavy blade of the crescent moon saber, but the demonic energy it generated was over ten feet long and could still strike him. The blade was about to reach him when Liang Yihan quickly sidestepped two steps to avoid it.

Ah Hua nestled in Liang Yihan's arms, looked up at him, and whispered, "This formation is a demonic array of gods and demons. There are eighteen demons at the Demon Heart Realm wielding Demon God Banners, and forty-nine demons at the Demon Thought Realm wielding Ghost Soldier Banners. You can't see what's around you in this demonic array, but..."

Before Ahua could finish speaking, the demon wielding the crescent blade swung it horizontally again.

Liang Yihan's expression turned cold. He raised one hand into a sword finger, and a crimson flying sword flew out from the storage ring on his hand. The crimson flying sword trailed a long, light tail as it flew towards the crescent blade. The flying sword pierced through the blade, shattering the shadow of the crescent blade into dust.

Enraged, the demon raised his crescent blade and slashed at the flying sword in the air.

With a flick of Liang Yihan's sword technique, the flying sword nimbly flew back, avoiding a direct confrontation with the heavy crescent blade.

Ahua glanced at it, then turned back and continued, "Besides the demons who set up the formation, there are many other demons in this magic array. They wear a small flag, and if you have that flag, you can see what's inside the array. If you can snatch a flag, you can see it. Be careful."

After speaking hastily, Ahua didn't wait for Liang Yihan's reaction and nimbly jumped out of his arms and onto the ground.

Just then, a dark figure descended from the sky, and Lang Yuan silently landed behind Liang Yihan.

Ahua paused for a moment, then walked around Liang Yihan, ran a few steps forward, and jumped onto Langyuan's shoulder.

"Langyuan, let's go." Ahua stood on Langyuan's shoulder, her little face turned away from his, and urged, "Let's hurry up and find my sister. She must be very worried about me."

Lang Yuan coldly stared ahead as the demon wielding a crescent-shaped blade silently attacked Liang Yihan. Liang Yihan, naturally unwilling to accept defeat, engaged the demon in a fierce battle.

The demon who was fighting Liang Yihan was only at the early stage of demonic thought, so Liang Yihan was able to handle the fierce battle with ease and soon gained the upper hand.

Wolf Yuan watched for a while, then moved as if he wanted to rush over.

"Lang Yuan!" Ah Hua's body suddenly tensed up. She turned her head and whispered in Lang Yuan's ear, "For my mother's sake... let's go."

Wolf Yuan stood silently for a while, then soared into the sky without a word.

Amidst his busy schedule, Liang Yihan glanced back and watched as Ah Hua's small figure on Lang Yuan's shoulder gradually disappeared into the distance. A gentle smile quietly appeared on his lips, and he murmured to himself, "Thank you, Ah Hua."

--

The moment Liuli obtained the Bright Eyes Flag, she saw Shichan being attacked by two demons who suddenly appeared beside him in the demon array on the ground, and he was almost killed by the two of them.

Startled, Liuli flew straight down.

One of the two demons attacking Shi Chan was at the early stage of demonic thought, and the other was at the middle stage. One wielded a spear, and the other used a bow and arrow. The demon with the spear engaged Shi Chan in close combat, while the demon with the bow and arrow hid in the back, occasionally firing a few arrows, causing Shi Chan considerable trouble.

Liuli flew over quickly, and just as she got closer and closer to the ground, she saw the demon hiding behind Shichan draw his bowstring taut, and a long arrow formed of demonic power was aimed directly at Shichan's back.

Liuli was shocked. She immediately took out the Winged Spirit Whip and lashed it out in mid-air. A white whip shadow lashed out at the demon.

Sensing the approaching danger, the demon had no choice but to change the direction of his bow and arrow, raising the arrowhead to aim at Liuli in the air. However, he quickly saw Liuli's appearance and swiftly turned the arrowhead down to aim at the ground, hastily retreating a few steps to dodge Liuli's whip-like attack.

Liuli landed on the ground, flicked her right hand, and lashed out with her long whip at the demon who was fiercely fighting Shichan. The whip coiled around Shichan's spear like a serpent. At that moment, the demon was engrossed in his battle with Shichan, and he was startled when his spear was suddenly entangled.

Liuli pulled her long whip backward, causing the demon to stumble. At the same time, Shichan commanded a golden monk's knife, over a foot long, trailing a trail of light, to swiftly slash at him.

Startled, the demon frantically tried to pull the spear back, but the whip was extremely elastic, and the tip of the whip, wrapped around the spear, seemed glued to it. No matter what the demon did, he couldn't pull the whip back. Helpless, he had no choice but to abandon the spear, dodge the slash from the monk's knife, and hastily retreat.
