Chapter 203 There will be no more Ahua in the world

Within the sword formation, Li Molin gripped the Blood Fiend Trident in his right hand and the Skull Staff in his left. While continuously summoning ghost faces to defend against the Taoists, he repeatedly raised and swiftly swung his right hand, unleashing sharp streams of blood-fiend demonic energy that surged in all directions. However, enveloped by the sword formation's light, Li Molin found wielding the trident extremely difficult. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, his face was pale, his lips bloodless, and his right hand trembled uncontrollably; he was utterly exhausted.

Over the past decade, the cultivation levels of Li Molin, Yu Ke, and Ji Jue have all improved. Li Molin's cultivation has reached the early stage of Demonic Heart, while Yu Ke and Ji Jue's cultivation has reached the late stage of Demonic Thought.

Yu Ke and Ji Jue were already covered in wounds and were struggling to defend themselves against the sword energy and the attacks from the two Taoists.

While counterattacking the Taoist, Langyuan also had to protect Ahua on his shoulder. At this moment, he was in a more disheveled state. His body was covered with wounds, and his demonic power was almost exhausted. He was on the verge of dying under the combined attack of two Nascent Soul stage experts.

Ahua clung tightly to Langyuan's shoulder, her eyes filled with fear as she anxiously watched the battle unfold before her.

Suddenly, a sword flashed and struck Lang Yuan's face, splattering a trail of blood. A little of the blood splashed onto A Hua's face, making A Hua's vision turn blood red.

Blood, bright red blood, so cold, that chilling coldness spread from her face throughout her body, causing Ahua's body to tremble.

The crimson color before her eyes suddenly reminded Ahua of a scene from many years ago, a scene she least wanted to recall.

That was the mountain forest where she grew up, the forest where she and her parents lived in seclusion. Their lives were carefree then, but on that day, the arrival of many Taoist priests shattered their tranquility. Ahua was hidden in a cave by her parents, who sealed the spiritual energy of the spirit cat within her, thus escaping the Taoist priests' search. However, her parents were severely injured and captured by the priests, never to return.

She still remembers the fear and grief of that day. Ah Hua trembled all over as she hid in the narrow, dark cave. She watched helplessly as her parents were besieged by those Taoists, watched helplessly as huge amounts of blood flowed from their bodies, and watched helplessly as they were on the verge of death after being seriously injured... She watched these heart-wrenching scenes, but dared not make a sound. She almost gritted her teeth to the bone before she managed to suppress her sobs.

Several days later, she emerged from the cave and, disguised as an ordinary tabby cat, traveled to Yingyang City, where she met Liang Yihan.

Liang Yihan's gentle smile and warm embrace gradually dispelled the hatred and fear in her heart. During the days when Liang Yihan was by her side, she thought that even if she were to grow old, get sick, and die like an ordinary house cat, it would be good to have him by her side. However, this beautiful dream was shattered on the day he left Haitang Courtyard.

Two streams of warm tears flowed from her eyes. Through her blurred vision, Ah Hua looked around and saw that the faces of the Taoist priests were full of righteous indignation, but their hands were ruthless and cruel.

A wave of intense hatred surged through Ahua's heart. It was these Taoists, these hypocritical virtuous men, who had ruined her carefree life. She had never sought revenge, yet these despicable hypocrites had set their sights on her!

The seed of hatred that had taken root in Ahua's heart after witnessing her parents being arrested was temporarily contained by Liang Yihan, but the scene before her magnified the hidden pain in her heart, causing the seedling of hatred to grow uncontrollably and instantly take over her entire heart.

Just then, Ahua noticed a complex gaze looking down from the sky. She looked up in confusion and saw his tall, elegant figure floating silently in the air. They were quite far apart, and the sword light blocked her view, so Ahua couldn't see the expression on his face. However, she could tell that he had no intention whatsoever of helping her.

Even after her parents were captured, and even after Lang Yuan released the seal within her, she still carefully concealed her true form as a spirit cat. However, she was exposed while trying to save him. Even so, he remained indifferent to her danger, heartlessly abandoning her!

Ahua's breath caught in her throat for a moment, then a sudden, sharp pain shot through her chest, a pain so intense it bordered on despair. She realized that there was no warmth left in this world.

Liu Lingying landed in the formation and came to Li Molin's side. She waved away many Taoists who were attacking Li Molin, and her heart ached when she saw the wounds all over his body. Just as she was hesitating whether to save Li Molin at all costs, a burst of bright light suddenly erupted from the side, dazzling her eyes.

Liu Lingying turned her head in surprise and saw a white light shining in the distance. The light was about ten feet in diameter and dazzling, like a small sun. Within the light, a beautiful white cat could be faintly seen, its limbs outstretched as it floated in the white light, its eyes closed.

Soon, the white light faded and dimmed, and a small inner core, the size of an infant's fist, emerged from between the white cat's eyebrows. Nine kittens in different poses were faintly visible on the inner core. At this moment, the image of one kitten floated out from the inner core, gradually growing larger until it merged with the white cat's body.

With a loud "Boom!", a burst of white light erupted around the white cat. The white cat opened its eyes, its deep blue pupils filled with hatred. At that moment, the inner core returned to the white cat's brow. Simultaneously, the white cat's body lunged forward, transforming into a streak of white light, rushing into the sword formation like a shooting star.
