Chapter 274 Murder

After Liang Yihan placed the ant gu in the Bodhi Temple, ten days passed quietly. Liuli had been waiting anxiously and finally received a message from Liang Yihan.

Liuli waved away the blue spirit crane that Liang Yihan had given her, and said with a wicked smile, "We'll take action tonight and storm the Bodhi Temple!"

Li Molin looked at her face, which was filled with joy at the prospect of revenge, and replied gently, "Okay."

Yu Ke looked at Liu Li with a thoughtful expression and frowned, saying, "Miss, would Liang Yihan really put the ant gu in Bodhi Temple? If he didn't do that, then we might not be able to come back if we go up the mountain."

Liuli glanced at the silent Lingxi and said calmly, "He will. Even if he doesn't put the ant gu in Bodhi Temple, I still have the Nine-Colored Lotus Platform, which will allow us to escape."

Yu Ke nodded and stopped talking. Then, Liu Li and Li Molin gave an order, and the group of five people and three demons came to the foot of Pure Land Mountain. They sat down to rest in a forest and quietly waited for nightfall.

Several days ago, after being released by Lingxi, Shichan wandered aimlessly until he rescued a village suffering from the ravages of demons. Afterwards, he traveled, pondering how to restore Liuli to her original form. He tried to inquire about Liuli and Li Molin's group, fortunately, their distinctive clothing made them memorable to anyone who had seen them. Thus, Shichan followed his inquiries until he arrived at the foot of Pure Land Mountain.

He wasn't sure if Liuli and the others were still there, but seeing that it was getting late, he decided to stay. He found a secluded spot a little further from the path leading up the mountain, sat cross-legged against a lone tree, clasped his hands together, and gazed longingly at the Bodhi Temple on the mountain.

The sun moved little by little, eventually moving to the west and disappearing into the distance, until finally darkness fell.

Liuli waited quietly until the night deepened.

At exactly 9 PM, Liuli turned her head and looked around at Li Molin and the others who were standing silently in the forest. In the darkness, they were all looking at her.

Liu Li smiled wickedly and said loudly, "I sincerely thank you all for helping me take revenge today. I, Liu Li, will remember your kindness. If you ever need my help in the future, I will do my best to assist you without hesitation."

Li Molin shook his head and smiled, "You don't need to be so polite, Liuli. I've said it before, your business is my business, and your hatred is my hatred."

Liuli paused, looking at the solemn expression on Li Molin's face through the moonlight filtering through the leaves. For the first time, she began to take his words seriously. Before, she hadn't believed him at all; she thought he must have ulterior motives. But the more he said it, the more he gave her without expecting anything in return, the more she had to seriously consider the truth and weight of his words.

After a moment of silence, Liuli looked away from Li Molin, turned to face the direction of Bodhi Temple, and called out, "Let's go up the mountain!"

"Yes!" Yu Xin and Ge Yiyuan responded in unison, their faces full of excitement.

Li Molin looked at Yu Ke, Ji Jue, and Lang Yuan and said, "Let's go."

The two humans and the demon responded in unison, "Yes." Lang Yuan glanced at Lingxi on his shoulder and saw that she was still listless, half-lying on his shoulder with her eyes half-closed, silent. She had been like this ever since she saw Liang Yihan a few days ago, silent all day long, and no one knew what she was thinking.

Lang Yuan sighed. He saw that Liu Li was leading the way, and they all took off and flew up the mountain one after another. He lagged behind and silently took off.

Liuli landed first at the meditation room on the back of Pure Land Mountain. This group of meditation rooms covers a vast area with many buildings. Due to the terrain on the mountain, the many meditation rooms are not arranged neatly, and the paths between the buildings are intermittent. Only in the middle of the meditation room group is there a wide path, about twenty feet wide. This path leads directly to the Buddha Hall and is the path that monks walk on the most.

Liuli landed right in the middle of the path and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Liuli of the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan is here! All you bald monks from Bodhi Temple, get out here!"

A young monk on night patrol heard the noise and came over. He was shocked to see Liuli and her group. He immediately struck the bronze gong in his hand. The gong did not look like an ordinary object. As soon as it was struck, it shone brightly with golden light and made a deafening sound.

As soon as Liuli made her voice, some of the temple disciples heard it and hurriedly dressed and ran out. When the gong sounded, almost all the disciples were awakened and ran to the path one after another.

The path was wide, but it couldn't accommodate too many people. Gradually, the disciples who had left the meditation room could only either float in the air or gather on the rooftops of the meditation rooms on both sides of the path, surrounding Liuli and the others.

At this time, there were nearly a thousand inner disciples of Bodhi Temple. All of them were mobilized, and the golden light on their bodies formed a continuous expanse, illuminating the night.

Suddenly, the monks on the north side of the path parted to the sides, and Shi Ning slowly walked over through the path they had cleared. He stopped in front of the crowd, stared at Liuli with hostility, and raised his voice: "You wicked fox, how dare you come up the mountain?"

"Why wouldn't I dare?" Liuli tilted her head and said with a wicked smile, "I've come up the mountain today to kill someone!"

Shi Ning had a vague sense of unease, but then he thought, no matter what tricks the evil fox had up its sleeve, there were still many disciples of the Bodhi Temple here. Surely a thousand people could kill just a few of them?

He sneered and said coldly, "Today, this humble monk will ensure you never return! All disciples of Bodhi Temple, listen up, we swear to kill this vile fox!"

"Yes!" The thousand men shouted with all their might, their voices shaking the heavens.
