The sun had already peeked over the horizon, its rays illuminating the desolate scene within the City of Gods and Demons. Liuli and Li Molin flew above, taking in the horrific sight even more clearly.
The city was now a complete ruin, with piles of charred walls and broken tiles still ablaze with raging flames. The flames, a dark reddish-black, showed no sign of abating and instead burned ever brighter. Gradually, many of the flames coalesced into one, emitting wisps of white smoke.
Amidst the chaos, numerous righteous disciples rushed down to fight the surviving demons. The city was ablaze with light, and the sounds of battle were deafening.
The nearly 50,000 people in the City of Gods and Demons were the true elite of the demon race. Apart from the Thunderfire Tribulation secretly hidden by the righteous disciples with ulterior motives, nearly 2,000 Thunderfire Tribulations exploded in various parts of the city. On the spot, half of the demons were blown to ashes in their sleep, leaving no trace of their bodies.
Of the remaining half of the surviving demons, more than 10% were seriously injured and 30% were slightly injured. Among the 50,000 demons, only the 10% with relatively profound cultivation, including the demon generals, were unharmed.
Li Molin and Liuli walked around the city and found that all the surviving demons were currently fighting with many righteous disciples, making it impossible to gather them together. Li Molin hesitated for a moment, then nodded and said, "Alright, Liuli, be careful."
Liuli nodded in agreement and flew straight ahead. Li Molin glanced at her back, then turned and flew towards the eastern part of the Divine Demon City, where the two thousand Xuanjia soldiers lived together, occupying a large area of houses in the east of the city.
As the sun gradually revealed itself on the eastern horizon, the sky finally brightened.
As the bright morning sun rose, a silver light appeared on the horizon, approaching from afar and quickly stopping above the City of Gods and Demons. The silver light flashed, revealing the figure of a woman in green robes. She stood atop a silver flying sword, looking down at the horrific scene in the Demon City below, her expression changing drastically.
Her face was extremely pale, and she said in a trembling voice, "They still used the Thunderfire Calamity after all..."
A moment later, she descended and searched back and forth above the Demon City, finally finding the figures of more than a hundred Yuandao Sect disciples, who were gathered together and fighting a lot of demons.
The woman in green descended from the sky, landing directly beside Liang Yihan amidst the chaos of battle. With an unfriendly expression, she called out, "Han'er!"
Liang Yihan feigned an attack to abandon his opponent, then hurriedly retreated and turned around, respectfully calling out, "Uncle Ying, what brings you here?"
Liu Lingying said in a deep voice, "Han'er, they kept the Thunderfire Tribulation from me, but why didn't you tell me?!"
Liang Yihan gave a wry smile and said helplessly, "Please forgive me, Uncle Ying. I have received my master's orders and dare not say more to you."
