The woman skipped and hopped to the foot of a low hill deep in the forest, where she could hear the gurgling of flowing water and see a babbling brook flowing not far away through the gaps in the trees.
At that moment, a tiger was resting with its eyes closed on the low hill. Upon suddenly seeing the woman, the enormous tiger, over seven feet long, flinched in fright and instinctively tried to flee. But then, it seemed to remember something, mustered its courage, and leaped down the hill, standing before the cave. It roared angrily, glaring at the woman, but a closer look revealed a hint of weakness beneath its outward bravado.
The woman gave a wicked smile and waved her hand, saying, "Alright, alright, I didn't come here to tease you today. I know your tigress has given birth to tiger cubs, haven't I? I don't even have time to go play with the cubs yet, so get out of my way!"
The tiger was furious. It roared to the sky and was about to pounce on the woman.
The woman frowned impatiently, and with a wave of her hand, a white light appeared out of thin air, brushing towards the tiger like a gentle breeze. Although the white light looked gentle, the tiger was on high alert. It moved to dodge, but the white light suddenly accelerated, quickly enveloping the tiger's entire body and sweeping it far to the side.
The woman chuckled and in a flash, she had already run into the cave.
The cave wasn't large; you could see right through it. At the very back, a tiger lay on its side, cradling three cubs in its arms, nursing. The cubs were only about a foot long, fluffy and incredibly cute.
The woman kicked aside the scattered bones in the cave, walked over, squatted down, reached out and stroked the little tiger's soft fur, and said softly, "What an adorable little tiger."
The tigress seemed to have no hostility towards the woman. A gentle warmth appeared in her eyes as she licked the cub's head with her tongue, and then licked the woman's hand.
The woman smiled gently and patted the tigress's head.
The male tiger lingered at the cave entrance for a while, and seeing the woman getting along well with the female tiger, he turned around and walked away angrily.
The woman unwrapped the baby from her arms and placed the naked infant into the tigress's embrace. Smiling, she said to the tigress, "Could you help me raise this human child? You can treat him as your own child, okay?"
The mother tiger was initially hostile to her cubs' approach, but after hearing the woman's words, a hint of helplessness appeared in her eyes. After pondering for a long time, she finally nodded. Judging from the way she nodded, she seemed quite intelligent. Perhaps, given time, she could cultivate into a demon together with the male tiger.
The baby lay nestled in the mother tiger's arms, looking around curiously. The little tiger beside him leaned closer, its fur soft and warm.
The baby chuckled, turned to look at the tiger cub, and mimicked it by nuzzling towards its mother. Finding a spot, it skillfully latched on and began to nurse.
The tigress's eyes softened for a moment, and she stretched her head over to lick the baby's hair.
"Alright!" The woman breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "Then I'll leave the child with you. I'll come see him again tomorrow."
She clapped her hands, got up and left. As she walked out of the cave, she gave the male tiger, who had climbed back onto the hill, a defiant look and said fiercely, "You're not allowed to eat that human child. If you do, I'll eat all three of your tiger cubs, understand?!"
The tiger roared angrily, filled with resentment.
The woman gave a wicked smile, put her hands behind her back, and skipped away.
