Chapter 434 Missing

Time passed slowly, and the hall was extremely quiet. Li Molin leaned his head back against the chair and closed his eyes to rest. His mind was in a daze, and he was just about to fall asleep.

Li Molin was startled by a series of hurried footsteps. He opened his eyes in a daze and saw that the hall was now dark. The footsteps were from Yu Ke, who was walking over anxiously.

Li Molin looked weary and frowned as he asked, "What happened, Yu Ke?"

Yu Ke stood down at the foot of the platform, looked up at Li Molin, and said anxiously, "Your Majesty, something has happened. Miss Liuli... has disappeared."

"What?!" Li Molin exclaimed in shock. He jumped to his feet, but his vision blurred from the sudden movement, and he stumbled. He quickly regained his balance and asked in astonishment, "Gone? How could they just disappear?!"

Yu Ke replied in a deep voice, "I summoned many demonic feathered birds, but none of them could convey the exact location of Miss Liuli. I can only deduce that her last known location was Jiangzhou. Beyond that, I know nothing..."

"How could this be? Liuli brought so many divine beasts, such a large group, how could they disappear?!" In his unease, Li Molin hurriedly stepped down the steps, but because he was walking too fast, he almost fell down the steps several times.

Yu Ke quickly went to him and reached out to help him.

Li Molin shook off Yu Ke's hand that was trying to help him, quickly walked down the steps, and hurried out of the hall.

Yu Ke quickly followed behind him.

As Li Molin walked, he asked urgently, "Did you send anyone out to look for them?"

Yu Ke followed closely behind Li Molin and replied in a deep voice, "Your Majesty, rest assured, I have already ordered a thousand men to go out and search throughout the Central Plains."

Li Molin frowned and said, "How can a thousand people be enough for such a vast Central Plains? Send down the order: everyone go out and search. Don't come back until you find Liuli!"

Yu Ke said helplessly, "Your Excellency, people must be left in the city to guard it."

Li Molin finally regained some of his composure. He stopped in his tracks, turned to Yu Ke, and asked, "Have all the demon generals returned?"

Yu Ke thought for a moment and replied, "Except for those who have already sent word that they will not be returning, seven teams of demon generals have already returned."

“Seven teams, that means all twenty-one demon generals have returned…” After pondering for a moment, Li Molin said, “Yu Ke, quickly go and pass on the order to have eleven demon generals lead their demon soldiers out to search for Liu Li, while the rest of the people and ten demon generals guard the city!”

"Yes!" Yu Ke nodded in agreement and hurried away.

Li Molin walked out of the main hall in a few steps, looked up at the sky, and saw that it was already evening.

At that time, the city of gods and demons was brightly lit, and the noise coming from all directions made Li Molin even more uneasy.

He strode forward, grabbing a demon along the way and ordering in a deep voice, "Go to the Xuanjia Army and tell them to prepare to depart and come with me!"

Although the demon was full of questions as to why Li Molin would go out so late, he didn't dare to ask any further questions because he saw that Li Molin's expression was off. After respectfully agreeing, he hurriedly ran away into the distance.

Li Molin then walked in that direction, his steps hurried, his face filled with anxiety and unease. As he hurried past, all the demons along the way greeted him, but he couldn't hear them at all.
