The weather was perfect today; the warm spring sun cast its gentle rays, illuminating the entire city.
None of the thirty-six demon generals and their demon soldiers left the city. Ten of the more unlucky demon generals drew lots and could only lead their men to defend the city, while the others could attend the banquet.
Marriage customs in the Demon Realm differ from those in the Central Plains. There are not many elaborate rituals; the couple simply puts on wedding attire, holds a grand banquet to entertain relatives and friends, and that's all.
When the Demon Lord marries, the entire clan celebrates.
A wide street in the city of gods and demons was lined with square tables, laden with delicious food and the aroma of wine filling the air. Numerous demons and divine beasts surrounded these tables, making a great commotion, their noise so loud it seemed they wanted to overturn the city itself—a truly lively scene.
At the end of the long street, a high platform was erected, on which was placed a bronze statue of Chi You, about two people tall. Fresh tea and snacks were offered on the altar in front of the statue.
This high platform is where Li Molin and Liuli hold their wedding ceremony. Unlike the wedding ceremonies in the human world, where people worship heaven and earth, the wedding ceremony of the demon race worships the statue of Chi You.
While waiting for the auspicious time, Li Molin arrived at the long street first. He stood on the high platform and greeted all the demons present. After descending from the platform, he was greeted by many demons offering him toasts, one cup after another without stopping. Some even suggested temporarily sealing Li Molin's magic power, clearly intending to get him drunk.
Li Molin was in a good mood today and was not angry when he heard this. He accepted all the toasts and, despite his profound cultivation, soon drank until his face was flushed.

A red silk ribbon, about ten feet wide, stretched from the palace complex in the city center all the way to here. Yu Xin, supporting a slender woman dressed in a wedding gown with a red veil covering her head, stepped onto the red silk and slowly walked over.
