"What's going on with Blue Star this time?"
Cui Qingling sighed; both of them were clearly used to it. "We're at the tavern, would you like to come over?"
Meng Wan glanced at the rearview mirror. "I'll be there in a bit."
"Fine, this guy's drunk and acting crazy. I can't control him without you." You could tell from Cui Qingling's words that she was full of helplessness.
After hanging up the phone, Yan Nian seemed to sense something and sighed.
"Looks like our date is going to be canceled."
“You know what I mean.” Meng Wan shrugged.
"I'll sabotage their dates too." Yan Nian couldn't understand why Ji Sheng, who had finally won her over, was arguing with her every other day.
"You childish brat," Meng Wan chuckled.
After taking the two children home, Yan Nian drove Meng Wan to the tavern.
"Shall we go up?"
"No, you girls haven't gotten together in ages, so I won't join in the fun. Let me know when it's over, and I'll come pick you up." Yan Nian placed his hand on the back of Meng Wan's head and leaned down to give her a kiss.
"Okay." Meng Wan mischievously ruffled Yan Nian's hair, and the latter, helpless, let her have her way.
There's nothing I can do; I'm completely controlled by this one person for the rest of my life.
After lingering for a while, Meng Wan finally entered the tavern. It was still early, and the tavern hadn't opened yet. When the waiter saw Meng Wan, he simply nodded and greeted her without saying anything more.
Meng Wan went upstairs with ease and entered a private room for a few people.
As soon as the door opened, Lan Xing, reeking of alcohol, rushed over, clearly having seen her enter through the glass window.
