"That's the little guy's dad."
I frowned; I hadn't expected this.

The clothes were really dirty, so I pulled out a smaller short-sleeved shirt from the closet.
Take off Tuantuan's dirty clothes and put her short-sleeved shirt on.
The short-sleeved shirt that was a bit tight on me became a loose dress on Tuantuan, with the hem almost touching the ground.
I carried Tuantuan to the bathroom, found a clean basin, and filled it with warm water.
Put Tuantuan in and soak her in the water.
She seemed to really like the water; she splashed her little hands on the surface and played by herself.
While I was washing her clothes, I put them directly into the sink and started scrubbing them.
After washing her, I had a free hand to give her a bath with homemade shower gel.
Tuantuan didn't resist at all; she obediently listened to everything, whether it was taking a bath or changing clothes.
"How can you be so obedient?"
I gently dried her hair with a towel while muttering to myself.
Unexpectedly, Tuantuan took it to heart and suddenly responded softly, "Mom said that I need to be more sensible when she's not around anymore."
I paused as I dried her hair; she was such a poor child.
After giving her a bath, I put a clean short-sleeved shirt on her and let her play directly on the kang (heated brick bed).
I found two new short-sleeved shirts and started cutting them on the sewing machine.
Making both clothes and pants is really troublesome.
It's okay to wear something cool in the summer. Just change the middle of the short sleeves to cinch the waist and make it into two dresses. They're easy to put on and take off.
After finishing the garment, I tried it on Tuantuan and it fit her perfectly, making her look even more adorable and cute.
It's time for dinner, so I'm thinking of making something that the kids will like to eat and that's good for their health.
First, steam two potatoes until soft, then mash them into a puree. Stir in some white sugar and honey to make a soft, sweet, and delicious mashed potato.
Cook noodles directly in boiling water, then rinse them in cold water, add chopped green onions, cilantro, sesame oil, and other seasonings. It's the perfect refreshing cold noodle dish for summer.
A large bowl and a small bowl of cold noodles, plus a full plate of sweet mashed potatoes—that's our dinner.
I picked out the smallest spoon for Tuantuan to use.
Even though the food didn't smell very appetizing, she still drooled.
I handed her the small spoon, and Tuantuan awkwardly scooped up a spoonful of mashed potatoes and put it in her mouth.
As soon as it was put in her mouth, she clapped her hands and exclaimed, "It smells good, it smells good!"
Seeing that she could eat by herself and had a good appetite, I felt relieved.

I quickly cleaned up the dishes, and didn't waste any of the food scraps or leftovers on the table; I used them all to feed the dog.
Tuantuan was quite well-behaved when going to sleep at night. She held the plush toy that Taozi had brought with him when he dropped her off, and fell asleep in no time.
There were a few tear stains at the corners of her eyes, she probably cried secretly because she was thinking of her mother.
The next morning, as soon as I woke up, Tuantuan opened her eyes as well.
According to my usual routine, I should get up early to go up the mountain to weed.
I couldn't give up my vegetable garden just to take care of Tuantuan, so I decided to take Tuantuan up the mountain with me.
Tuantuan can walk, but she walks with a lot of stumbles and falls.
Because there were too many things to carry, a handcart had to be used.
The car contained a tent, a cotton cushion, a water bottle, and Tuantuan and her teddy bear.
